Listen: Cestrian – Purge

Unknown to the Unknown are about to launch into their next wave of releases with the Secret Language EP from Cestrian, better known to his mortal brothers as Ali Renault.

Channeling the spirit of his Drexciyan forefathers as well as the electro sounds of Holland’s seminal Bunker Records, the structures of Cestrian are nevertheless imbued with a demonic quality reflected in his use of savage textures and disorientating melodies.

It’s the first of several releases pencilled in for the label over the coming months, with drops on the way from Mista Men, Duncan Brake and Walter Ego, tracks from which can be heard over at the label’s YouTube page.

Secret Language will be released digitally on April 30, 2012.
