Watch: Svengalisghost – Deep Into Memory

More shoestring magic from Marcus Mixx, with the Chicago house veteran whipping together a video for Svengalisghost’s “Deep Into Memory” on a US $30 budget.

The track, set for release on Ron Morelli’s on-point L.I.E.S. imprint this month, is a near nine minute techno throbber. The artist formerly known as Below Underground will join the L.I.E.S. family with the Mind Control EP, which according to a press release “sits in the grey area where early house music and primitive industrial electronics met and existed on the same plain”.

Mixx meanwhile already has close ties to L.I.E.S., having put together clips for Xosar and Legowelt tracks on the label in recent months. He’s also just released some of his own music on technicolour London imprint Unknown To The Unknown.

L.I.E.S. will release Svengalisghost’s Mind Control EP in March 2012.
