Listen: Bintus live in Berlin

Those with a firm grasp of recent electronic music will no doubt remember Milo Smee for his sterling work on the sadly missed Dissident label as both Kruton and Binary Chaffinch, as well as being a key member of the slightly frightening Chrome Hoof collective.

Now firmly ensconced in Berlin, Smee has a new project bubbling in the shape of Bintus, with a debut release scheduled early next year on the Power Vacuum imprint. A chance to sample the Bintus sound is offered by the recording of a recent live set at Berlin club Ziwih Ziwih which features plenty of gleefully disjointed jacking acid.
