Listen: Oneohtrix Point Never – Replica

As previously mentioned, next month sees Dan Lopatin release his latest Oneohtrix Point Never opus in the shape of Replica, via the Software offshoot of Mexican Summer.

It’s Lopatin’s first studio recorded album and sees the lo-fi hero move away from purely synthetic compositions towards a fuzzy collage of sounds similar to contemporary James Ferarro. This is quite evident from the soothing melodic piano tones that run through the title track, which is now available for general streaming consumption.
