Trouble Vision celebrate third birthday in style
Trouble Vision, the in house clubnight at Corsica Studios, turns three in October and have rightly deemed the occasion worthy of a weekend takeover at the cavernous South London sweatbox for a Double Trouble Vision which features everyone from Blawan to Motor City Drum Ensemble.
Fully demonstrating the night’s growth in the past twelve months into one of London’s premiere parties for all things house, techno, bass and boogie, Trouble Vision have split proceedings across the Friday and Saturday night to allow them to maximise the line-ups.
The aforementioned Hessle and R&S lynchpin Blawan provides headline weight alongside Artwork and 50 Weapons trio Dark Sky, whilst the likes of Objekt, Krystal Klear, and a live set from Numbers resident speakerbox obsessive Redinho make for an impressive first night. Intriguingly they are joined by legendary turntablist Grandmaster Flash – rumours that he will be unveiling a new scratchstep project may have been just made up.
Saturday night takes a housier lean, with a headline slot from Motor City Drum Ensemble complemented by a live performance from the Bulgarian king of the 808 KiNK. We Play House duo FCL aka San Soda and Red D are also on board for the night, and anyone who checked their opening mix for our podcast series will know they bring the vinyl heavy heat. Sometime Crosstown Rebel and Spectral Sound artist Subb-an completes the lineup alongside Join The Dots boss Duff Disco and Trouble Vision resident Park Ranger.
The (Double) Trouble Vision 3rd Birthday takes place at Corsica Studios on October 14 & 15, with tickets available now via Resident Advisor.
