Word on the street is Belfast’s outer galactic funkateer Space Dimension Controller was a certified highlight of the recent Movement Festival in Detroit, which is real mark of the somewhat eccentric producer’s talent given the rest of the line-up and his relative youth.

If like us you weren’t fortunate enough to make it to the Motor City riverside for the three day festival you can thank the Red Bull Music Academy Radio team for capturing the entirety of a blazing set that builds expertly from heady beatdown to 130bpm + techno across the course of two hours.

Whispers have reached our ears that included in this 120 minutes is a sizeable wedge of the producer’s unreleased material which might someday appear on Space Dimension Controller’s newly minted label Basic Rhythm.
