£1000 reward for Soul Clap CD wallet
The owners of the Manchester club where Soul Clap had their CDs stolen from last weekend have offered a £1000 reward for their safe return (via Data Transmission).
As we reported on Monday, the Wolf + Lamb duo had their CDs nicked during a gig last weekend. The venue in question – Sankeys – announced the handsome reward via their Facebook page which read:
“Sankeys would like to extend their sincere apologies to Soul Clap… We’re truly disgusted that this happened in our club. The event was absolutely magical, the Wolf and Lamb showcase at the official launch party of Sankeys NYC had such an amazing house party vibe, with 1249 clubbers loving every minute of it, so it’s gutting that this person has done this and ruined it for everyone. This is the first time this has happened in Sankeys in 16 years.”
We can only assume the wallet contained a fair helping of exclusive, unreleased and rare material. Whether the CD thieves, if caught, will be subsequently hung, drawn and quartered in the Manchester city centre remains to be seen.
