The Aikiu drop remix package

The Aikiu, a production ménage à trois that includes dirty editor Pilooski amongst their number, will release their debut single on Abracada next month.

“The Aikiu” is fronted by Alex Aikiu (memorably described by Nile Rodgers as “Madonna with a dick, but with the voice of Simon le Bon”) along with his buddies Julien Vihnievsky and Cedric Pilooski. The result is

On remix duties are Canadian duo Azari & III, house/techno/dubstep mangler Egyptrixx, so-hot-right-now Mighty Mouse and Social Club resident Clement Meyer.

The new Paris-based imprint was recently launched by Manu Barron of Social Club fame and former Eskimo PR man/Aeroplane manager Dirk De Ruyck.

And thanks to these rather generous chaps, we’ve also got two remixes of “Just Can’t Sleep” to give away, from up-and-coming UK crew Stupid Human and French youngster Sovnger. You can also have a sneak peak at the rest of the release via the Juno player below.
