This Week at Juno
Another heavy week at Juno Plus, throwing questions at an array of DJ/producers and a fresh stock of new digital and hard releases in store.
Although this week brought sad times as Sosho burned down, Optimo’s club closes and BBC 6Music is under threat, Juno Plus kept on trucking, speaking to the legends that were Brainfeeder’s Flying Lotus, enigmatic duo House of House with new featured charts from the likes of Rekid’s Toby Tobias and acid-monsters Snuff Crew.
We got free mixes from house-tastic Marc Romboy alongside John Dahlback’s and Ben Daly reviewed the new KORG Kaossilator Pro, whilst over in the reviews section, Glass Candy dropped the new ‘Feeling Without Touching’ EP out on Italians do It Better and Julien Jeweil’s ‘Color’ out on Juno Download got the onceover from our Juno scribes.
Elsewhere at Juno Download, there were releases from Martin Landsky with Werkschau on Germany’s Poker Flat and Shit Robot’s ‘I Got a Feeling’ whom we’ll be getting a featured chart off of next week and podcasts came in the form of dubstep and funky house.
And if you’re too lazy to scour the masses of records in tow, the Juno experts have compiled a list of must-have tunes for March. Check out the new Juno Records releases here.
