Critics’ Choice for October
Every month Juno collates the charts and glowing reviews from the world’s leading music magazines. Here’s a summary of the picks for October:
This month the Resident Advisor writers waxed lyrical about Moderat’s Sea Monkey remix package, while over at Mixmag Calvin Harris got a glowing review.
The eclectic Wire Magazine has everything from Akira Sakata’s jazz to Hyperdub’s 5-year double CD package – via some Bruce Gilbert – in its latest chart, while Groove Magazine is salivating over Luciano’s Tribute To The Sun and Kreidler’s Mosaik 2014.
Tastemakers extraordinaire Pitchfork are feeling Dizzee Rascal’s Tongue N Cheek and are also partial to a bit of Nick Cave. Meanwhile the Guardian scribes have Maps, Fuck Buttons and Taio Cruz on repeat in the office.
