The six-voice polysynth celebrates the brand’s 20th anniversary.
Arturia have announced a brand new flagship synth, launched to coincide with the brand’s 20th anniversary. The PolyBrute is a gorgeous-sounding analogue instrument, with more than a hint of the legendary Yamaha CS80 in its design and sound.
If you’d asked us to predict what might come next for the French brand, we might have predicted a cheaper, mid-range polysynth to sit below the MatrixBrute. Instead, the PolyBrute is even more advanced than the current range-topper. It’s a six-voice powerhouse with a pair of complementary Steiner and Moog-style filters, a ribbon controller, multifunction matrix (for modulation and sequencing), digital effects and motion recording.
The Arturia PolyBrute is due to arrive in stock very soon, priced at £2,259. Scroll down for more close-up photos.
