Juno Daily – In The Mix: Flying Moth
Out on the wing

Hot on the heels of his appearance on Soul Quest’s ‘Maintain Altitude’ V/A 12″, Italian producer Niccolo Terranova aka Flying Moth is back with a five track EP very much under his own steam.
Also out via Soul Quest, the ‘Tides’ EP veers from “an impassive jazz Sunday drive to a wonkier Monte Carlo camber”, layering stripped percussion under shifting keys and vocal textures, with the fast rising Toronto Hustle and Sean Roman duo reworking ‘Please, Keep Drinking With Me’ and Renato ad Gandii lending proverbial hands on the tilla as well.
Here, he pays tribute to the broken beat culture which has so significantly shaped his sound, selecting a clutch of his all time faves for a Juno Daily – In The Mix session.
“In my latest DJ set, I wanted to pay tribute to the broken beat culture, ” he told Juno Daily, “a genre that has deeply influenced me with its syncopated rhythms and jazz-infused energy. I curated a selection of tracks that are especially meaningful to me, aiming to showcase the genre’s rich heritage and its enduring impact on the dancefloor.”
