Premiere – Rico Casazza’s celestial, melodic techno outing ‘Remind Me pls’
“A deep, melodic dub-techno journey with a reflective atmosphere”

Italian-born, Prague-based producer Rico Casazza returns to the Moving Pictures label with four tracks that explore new electro, acid and techno, full of his trademark sound designs and high-speed grooves.
‘Climax’ opens with deep, dobby drums and fizzing sati that snakes around the mix while chords bring melancholy and ‘Remind Me Pls’ twitches with acid deftness and more optimistic chords. Moving Pictures founders Roman Rai and Taino step up with their own remixes. The former flips ‘Climax’ into deep space trip with lush layers of silky synths and emotive breakdowns then Taino reconfigures it as a hot stepping house cut with choral vocal swirls and a rubbery bassline that brings the bounce.
“Not every record has a grand story” Casazza tols us, “Sometimes, music just finds its own way into the world. ‘Remind me pls’ was written when I was living in Mexico City – a deep, melodic dub-techno journey with a reflective atmosphere. Years later, I made “Climax”, a dancefloor track with driving energy. Two tracks with no direct connection, yet both under the Rico Casazza sound signature. As a digital bonus, the EP includes a digital-only ambient reinterpretation of “Remind Me pls”, stripping away the beat and leaving only the melody to float in space.
“A moment of introspection, a rush of energy, a final breath of stillness—three pieces from different times, now part of one story.”
