FABRICLIVE launch first artist release with drum & bass don Sully
A new chapter after 25 years of mixes

After 25 years at the forefront of soundsystem culture via their legendary Friday night dances and DJ mix series, the iconic FABRICLIVE is to issue its inaugural artist release, from drum & bass producer Sully.
The Norwich don will has created two “lazer-focussed” jungle/d&b weapons for the 12″ vinyl, out on March 14.
Influenced by his formative years on the free party scene, the intensely vivid title track ‘Model Collapse’ merges caustic acid tekno with techstep depth, sharp gritty beats and classic low-end wobble.
An exercise in tone, pitch and harmonics, the warped synths, processed voices and masterful drumwork of ‘The Wash’ highlight an artist deep in the zone, manipulating sounds with a maverick midas touch.

Rob Booth of FABRICLIVE/Houndstooth/Fabric Originals told us: “Sully was an obvious choice for us to kick off the brand new FABRICLIVE. label. His drum programming is insane – Sully is synonymous with quality.Along with the likes of Djrum and Aphex Twin, Sully has that cult following, his records sell out days after release – very much an in demand producer and DJ. ‘Model Collapse’ is everything FABRICLIVE stands for.”
Since its inception in 1999, FABRICLIVE has hosted sets by luminaries including Andy C, Goldie, DJ Hype, LTJ Bukem, Calibre, Skream, Mala, Loefah, DJ EZ, Slimzee, Oneman, Four Tet, Aphex Twin, Hudson Mohawke and Flying Lotus.
FABRICLIVE’s seminal mix series ran from 2001 until 2018 and included sets by Fabio, Grooverider, Marcus Intalex, dBridge, David Rodigan, DJ Marky, Pearson Sound, Pinch, Ben UFO, Pangaea, Elijah & Skilliam, Kahn & Neek, Special Request, Midland, Kode9 and Burial.
