Premiere – Tukan lean on their live experience for album two’s rawest moment, ‘Reset’
Tukan play at that game

Formed from a core of Nathan Van Brande, Andrea Pesare and Samuel Marie, who met at a recording studio in Antwerp, Tukan came to life back in 2019.
Since then the Belgian crew have toured the world in support of their Atoll debut, with Dour Festival, Vieilles Charrues, Fusion Festival and Eurosonic among the many illustrious boards they’ve trod.
Human Drift is album number two from the Belgian crew – now also featuring drummer Tommaso Patrix – reflects that live, big stage sound, as the likes of ‘Rest’ and ‘Roda’ see live drums and (in the latter’s case) guitars colliding beautifully with flaring dancefloor synths and ‘Pluck’ sees gentle, rounded, Artificial Intelligence-type sounds prodded and played with by pert percussion.
This is definitely the sound of the foursome maturing, but without losing any of the energy and excitement that has got them thus far. No doubt, they are far from slaying their last festival.
Thanks to the band you can sample the album via the first listen of ‘Reset’ on Juno Daily today.
“’Reset’ is the most industrial and raw track on our new album Human Drift,” Nathan Van Brande told us, “a true sonic highway where energy remains constant and unshakable. Driven by relentless rhythms and metallic textures, this track moves forward without hesitation. It’s a mechanical onslaught, a hypnotic pace that powers ahead with unwavering intensity. ‘Reset’ embodies the very essence of total release—a powerful rush that evokes an unstoppable machine in motion. A frenetic race where every beat is a push forward.”
