The new MK3 models feature polyphonic aftertouch.
Native Instruments have announced updates to its Komplete Kontrol S range of MIDI keyboards. The MK3 model features a number of major upgrades and a new design, but the biggest news is the introduction of polyphonic aftertouch, a rare and highly sought after feature found on iconic synths like the Yamaha CS80. In simple terms, with polyphonic aftertouch, you can apply modulation independently to each note while holding down chords. You can find out more in the video above.
The Komplete Kontrol S49 MK3, S61 MK3 and S88 MK3 are available to pre-order now, priced at £649, £749 and £1,129 respectively.
