The forthcoming Synclavier Regen is now available to pre-order. The original Synclavier was a pioneering digital synth, sampler and sequencer released way back in 1977, but the Regen is an altogether more modern prospect. Packing the Synclavier II DSP FM engine along with subtractive synthesis options and sample-based techniques, the Regen is a hugely powerful instrument. Performance options include polyphonic aftertouch, MPE and adjustable response curves for modulation. You can hear it in action above.
