The two new models expand on the power of the original FM synth.
Korg have announced two new versions of the Opsix, the brand’s modern take on FM synthesis. The Opsix SE builds on the power of the original model with increased polyphony and voicing.
The SE models are both made in Japan, featuring full-size 61-key natural-touch keyboards with aftertouch, illuminated operator mixers and sturdy metal construction. The Platinum model features a limited-edition platinum finish and dedicated hard case. You can hear the new version in action above, including patches redesigned to benefit from aftertouch.
The Korg Opsix SE and Opsix SE Platinum are available to pre-order now, priced at £1,899 and £2,099 respectively.
