Amotik launches new split EP label AMTK+ with Deluka pairing

Berlin techno producer goes Dutch with Italian-born Deluka

Amotik has been speaking to Juno Daily about a new label enabling him to team up with his favourite artists on split EPs.

Having released his own music for several years on his self-titled label, the Berlin-based techno producer (pictured above) choose Italian-born Deluka for the inaugural AMTK+ release, set to be unleashed on March 3. You can pre-order a vinyl copy by clicking here…

He told us: “I am really happy to present the first AMTK+ EP alongside a very talented producer and friend Deluka. I’ve been playing his music for years now so I’m really glad he’s on board for the first label release. His two tracks on the A-side are exactly what I love about his sound… Bleepy, rolling, and mind bending techno. I’m taking over the B-side with two tracks I’ve been road-testing in the clubs over the last few months.”

He added: “I was given many opportunities from kind people around me when I first moved to Berlin and started my own label, so I’ve been wanting to be able to collaborate with others for some time now. Having recently quit my
day job, I finally have the time and energy to work on this project and focus on A+R.

“I always get sent such amazing music from producers to play in my DJ sets, and the idea behind the sub-label is to create a solid community of like-minded artists who I fully believe in and whose music has resonated with me over the years.

“As this project is a labour of love, I know all artists personally in some way, so it’s very important to me that
this is not just another record label but also the forming of a collective of like-minded souls with a shared
musical vision. All releases have been tried and tested over and over again in my DJ sets, so I’m really excited
to present this new project and share the music that I love.

“If you’ve heard any of my DJ sets over the last year, you will have heard these tracks before.”
