Juno Daily: In The Mix – Jazxing
At the forefront of Poland’s burgeoning scene, Jazxing get busy behind the decks
Jazxing are Jakub Sautycz and Mateusz Filipiuk, two DJs and producers from Gdansk, Poland, who draw inspiration from melodic trip hop, downbeat hip-hop beats and the classic early indie dance remix culture of Weatherall and St Etienne.
Their debut album, Pearls Of The Baltic Sea, is due out on October 31 and it’s a lively but relaxed listen, full of bright instrumentation but with a sunklissed, horizontal vibe.
To celebrate its imminent release, the duo have put together a mix of their significant influences and fellow Polish comrades, especially for our listening pleasure. Be our guest and dive in!
