ASM go big (and small) with Hydrasynth Deluxe and Explorer
The Deluxe is a 73-key, 16-voice monster, while the Explorer is a new affordable model.
Ashun Sound Machines have announced two new additions to the Hydrasynth range. The brand’s original 8-voice wavetable synth is joined by a new premium model, the Hydrasynth Deluxe. The flagship model gets a 16-voice synth engine similar to the original, with new CV/gate features plus a 73-note keyboard with polyphonic aftertouch.
The Hydrasynth Explorer is a more affordable model, with the same 8-voice synth engine as the original models, a 37-note keyboard (again with polyphonic aftertouch) and the option to run on AA batteries for portability. You can see both models in action in the videos above and below.
The ASM Hydrasynth Deluxe and Hydrasynth Explorer are due in stock soon, priced at £1,529 and £519 respectively.
