Luke Slater shares futuristic electro clip from next Planetary Assault Systems album
Slater’s first LP in five years is out in October

Luke Slater has announced a new Planetary Assault Systems album, Sky Scraping, due out in October.
The cult hero of funky, futuristic techno has shared an excerpt from the album today, a slippery splintered electro/techno fusion called ‘Labstract’.
Sky Scraping, his first new LP since 2016 is out via Token on October 15.
On the new LP, Slater draws on studio material but also components recorded during the PAS live show – and he’s keen to let fans know the focus is well and truly on the dance floor with this one: Sky Scraping is a loud and unabashed celebration of the formative and familiar environments so loved by the electronic music community, the dark clubs and festivals made special by their unique ability to bring likeminded people together.
