The desktop Matrix Mixer is a uniquely creative approach to signal routing.
Erica Synths have unveiled a new mixer with a unique approach. The Matrix Mixer is loosely inspired by the kind of modulation and signal-routing mixers found in classic synths like the EMS Synthi. You can route, split and mix signals around its 16-input, 16-output architecture using the central matrix. It’s pitched as a studio mixer, but it could just as easily be used for a live setup given its compatibility with pretty much any instruments, including Eurorack. You can see it in action in the videos above and below.
The Erica Synths Matrix Mixer is due in stock soon, priced at £505.
