Juno Daily – In The Mix with Emotec Records
Breaks, electro and hip-hop tussle it out as Manchester’s Emotec label launches
Emotec Records is shaping up to be one 2021’s most exciting, making a spectacular debut release this week with MOY’s ‘Orbital Resonance’ EP and a second release from BufoBufo lined up for September.
There’s much, much more in the pipeline to come from these new heroes of the breakbeat world – as label boss Damo B demonstrates with this assured outing behind the decks for our listening pleasure.
According to Damo B himself: “This mix is an hour long snapshot of whatever’s clever at the minute from the labels and artists that have caught my ear and of course the first two releases from the EMOTEC stable. Just the kind of emotional content that I feature in my weekly Outta Limits radio show over on Unity Radio here in Manchester. “
