Get started in semi-modular synthesis with Moog Sound Studio

Analogue synth legends Moog Music have announced two new bundles which promise a complete synthesiser studio experience in a box. The Moog Sound Studio packages both include a DFAM (Drummer From Another Mother) drum synth plus either a Mother-32 or Subharmonicon synth. You also get a rack mount kit, mixer and power distribution hub, patch cables, plus other accessories and guides on how to learn your way around.

Moog suggest that it’s the perfect way into Eurorack. Even though the Moog instruments aren’t strictly hardcore modular synths, their semi-modular approach is a good way to learn the basics. Once you’ve got the hang of the Moog instruments, you can expand your setup with other patchable instruments and Eurorack modules.
