Silent Servant record due on L.I.E.S.

Six years and well over one hundred releases in, and Ron Morelli’s L.I.E.S. label still retains the capacity to delight and surprise with their output; recent months have seen the label announce some rare Mr. Fingers remixes of Simoncino and slip out a white label of techno experiments from PAN associate NHK yx Koyxen. We can now add to this list the L.I.E.S. debut of Jealous God co-founder Juan Mendez with a Silent Servant record entitled Hypnosis in the Modern Age Vol. II¬†due on the label imminently. Arriving soon after a Silent Servant 12″ on the Elektron Grammofon label, a taste of this union between¬† L.I.E.S. and Mendez is available now in the shape of the haunting techno pulses of “Self-Hypnosis” which is streaming in full below.
