Brothers welcome two more names to the family

A new pair of siblings opens the Brothers proceedings for 2014 – can you guess who?

The Brothers label first took off in 2012, and over its four releases so far the imprint has chosen to credit their artists using their initials, giving the techno-heavy label a playful albeit semi-anonymous theme. Its initial two releases came courtesy of biological pairing Truss and Tessela (TR & LR) and Tom Dicicco’s hook up with AnD’s Andy Bowen, followed by Cassegrain’s “Liars Go Astray” and Perc’s collaboration with Philip ‘Sync 24’ Bolland. The label has since introduced a whole host of new names and one-off projects with last year’s releases alone bringing together Lee Douglas and Milo Smee, old school legends Neil Landstrumm and Paul Birken, Forward Stratgey Group’s Patrick Walker and New York’s Greg Schappert, aka Donor, and fellow US heavyweights Mike Parker and Bill Youngman.

The label’s first 12″ of 2014 comes from RE & LC, who provide three tracks and the first Brothers release that’s not a various artist record. To make things a little more exciting, Brothers have offered anyone that can guess the correct initials of the two debutantes a free test pressing of the forthcoming fifth release. For an extra hint of who it may be you can preview all three tracks below and guesses can be sent as a direct message to the label’s Facebook page.
