Win: Tickets to Juno Plus 3rd birthday with Ron Morelli and Will Bankhead

As regular Juno Plus readers will no doubt be aware, we are turning three soon with the help of L.I.E.S. boss Ron Morelli and Trilogy Tapes mastermind Will Bankhead, and we have a pair of tickets to give away.

Taking place on Friday, October 12, within the intimate surroundings of The Waiting Room in London’s Stoke Newington, the event will be headlined by L.I.E.S. head Ron Morelli, whose keen ear for raw house, industrial techno and leftfield analogue oddities that exist on the retro-leaning fringes of dance music’s avant-garde has turned the label into a New York institution. Joining him will be Will Bankhead, a man who rose to prominence with his sleeve design for labels like Honest Jon’s, Hessle Audio, R&S and Mo Wax, but who has shown himself to have excellent musical taste of his own with The Trilogy Tapes, his own label which has released records from Dro Carey, Kassem Mosse & Mix Mup and Willie Burns this year, alongside Hinge Finger, the label he co-runs with Joy Orbison which has so far released essential EPs from Madteo, Blawan and Mr O himself.

Morelli has only appeared once in London before, and although Bankhead’s record collection is expansive his DJ appearances are all too rare, so we are particularly excited to have them perform in such close quarters. In order to be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets to the event, simply send the correct answer to this question, with “Juno Plus 3rd Birthday” in the subject line to competitions@juno.co.uk: What was the name of Willie Burns’ most recent EP, released last month on Bankhead’s Trilogy Tapes imprint?
