In addition to the recent release of Exo, Gatekeeper’s latest ambitious multimedia project hidden within their debut album, Hippos In Tanks have commisioned an equally uncompromising sonic artist to remix “Tree Drum” in the shape of UNO’s crazed debutant Gobby.

Much like it was hard to fathom the inspiration behind the recently released New Hat EP by Gobby, it’s unclear how much if any of Gatekeeper’s original production is retained on a seven minute remix that begins like it’s spitting out its digital entrails over a backdrop of post apocalyptic echo chamber techno before morphing into something quite beautiful as the end nears.
