Watch: Mondkopf EP teaser

Having enjoyed a succession of parties in the company of acts as varied as Oneohtrix Point Never, Sandwell District, Peter Van Hoesen, Tommy Four Seven and Demdike Stare, Parisian enclave In Paradisum have expanded operations to include a record label, with their second release a quite intense listening experience from the highly rated Mondkopf.

The above trailer, which features the heavily pressurised sounds of lead track “Ease Your Pain” over footage from the fifth In Paradisum party which had Mondkopf playing alongside the aforementioned Sandwell District and Demdike Stare, should give you an idea of what to expect – and fully demonstrates why such luminaries as Surgeon, Perc and Norman Nodge are fans.

In Paradisum will release the Ease Your Pain EP by Mondkopf in digital form on February 13 with the 12″ vinyl to follow the week after.
