Listen: Serge – House mix from cassette circa 93/94

Clone Records boss Serge has posted up a unique bit of history on his Soundcloud page, in the form of this house mix circa 1993/94, recorded onto cassette.

Originally broadcast on Dutch radio station VPRO, it was recorded in one take on a simple mixer with no EQs, and is an interesting snapshot of the early tastes of the man behind one this year’s most consistent labels, filled with classic cuts of vintage New Jersey and Detroit house.
