Blondes ready debut album for RVNG INTL
Having spent the year slowly revealing their true musical potential via a trilogy of hypnotic twelves for the RVNG Intl imprint, Blondes will start 2012 in fine style with the release of their self titled debut album.
RVNG Intl have deemed to present the release as a double CD set, with the first disc containing eight tracks, six of which are the productions that made up those aforementioned twelve inches. These are complemented by a further two as yet unheard Blondes arrangements in the shape of “Gold” and “Amber”, which naturally continue the duo’s adventures through music that deals in themes of duality.
Thrillingly, the second disc a collection of remixes from a typically well chosen range of producers including such luminaries as JD Twitch, Andy Stott, Bicep, Laurel Halo, Traxx, Teengirl Fantasy and John Roberts. Never afraid to include a curveball, RVNG have even commissioned the quite demented Swedish techno producer Dungeon Acid – click here for an unnerving example of his work.
Tim Sweeney recently aired the Bicep refix of “Water” on his BIS show, whilst you can stream the Teengirl Fantasy remix of the recently released “Wine” below for a taste of what to expect.
RVNG Intl will release Blondes by Blondes on Double CD format on February 12, 2012.
