Lost My Dog competition winner announced

Those of you who follow these pages with a hawkish eye will remember a couple of months back we ran a DJ mix competition with our friends at Lost My Dog Records and Soundcloud. Well, the winner has now been decided – drumroll please…

Congratulations to Wafer, the winner of the ‘Beat Pete Dafeet’ competition. A big pat on the back also goes to James Connor and Forest Avery, who won runners up places.

LMD head honcho Pete Dafeet had this to say about the winning mix: “The quality of all entries was excellent and very difficult to decide. I felt overall that Wafer’s mix had the best flow and showcased a wide range of the artists LMD has worked with in just 30 minutes. There was a good blend of old and new music in the mix and he didn’t choose a single track which I had in mine, showing that he definitely has his own favourites from the label’s catalogue. Top stuff.”
