Featured DJ Chart: Sinden

One of the busiest men in the music biz, Sinden launched his own Grizzly imprint recently with a storming debut from the man himself, in collaboration with the ever masked SBTRKT. With the dust barely settled from that release, now we see the arrival of the Arnold Classics EP, courtesy of French new jack Brodinski. To celebrate the occasion Sinden agreed to pen a Juno Plus featured chart. Typically, he explores the breadth of the Juno Download catalogue, with classic disco and house nestling happily next to cutting edge dubstep and funky…

1. Brodinski – Arnold Classics (Grizzly)

“This is the second release on my label, I’m really proud to have Brodinski do a track. The remixes are outstanding if I may say.”

2. Dubbel Dutch – Deep Underground (Palms Out Sounds)

“Big fan of this producer out of Austin, Texas. He’s got a great sound.”

3. Mele – Bombay (Nadastrom Remix) (Mixpak)

“Mele is a new producer from Liverpool, really young and talented. I’m going to be releasing some tracks with him this year.”

4. Ron Hardy – Sensation (Rush Hour)

“A track I’ve been playing out a lot. Good to see Rush Hour reissuing the old Trax chicago house stuff.”

5. Marcus Price & Carli – Mat Bira Kvinnor Weed (Kingdom Remix) (Palms Out Sounds)

“Spoilt for choice with the remixes on offer but Kingdom just about comes out on top.”

6. Seiji – Elevator (Seijimusic)

“Seiji is one of my favourite producers, pretty underrated in my opinion. He’s pumping out good music out at the moment.”

7. Aural Exciters – Emile (Nite Rate) (Strut)

“I love old disco weird bits. This is from the Bob Blank album on Strut which is quality throughout.”

8. Sam Tiba – Barbie Weed (Top Billin)

“I love all the Club Cheval crew and this one has been steady in my sets for months and months.”

9. Poirier – 90’s Backyard (Wildlife! Remix) (Ninja Tune)

“Two of my favourites producers right now. Love the Poirier album on Ninja too.”

10. Jimmy Bo Horne – Spank (Essential Media)

“This is a classic from the late 70’s. DJ’s need to be playing this out.”
