Featured DJ Chart: Shit Robot

DFA’s Shit Robot aka Marcus Lambkin having had huge success with the record ‘Wrong Galaxy’ back in the day, has just released his new single  ‘I Got A Feeling’ featuring B-side ‘Norfolk Nights’. Having remixed the likes of labelmates The Juan Maclean and Simian Mobile Disco, the Irish producer hailing from Dublin recommends his Top 10 tracks for March…

1. DJ Sprinkles – Masturjakor – (Kink and Neville Watson remix)

Kink and Neville Watson take it a little darker and I love it.

2. James Braun – Symphonia – (Claude VonStroke remix)

I’m always a fan of Claude VonStroke’s bumpity grooves and this adds a big string breakdown for good measure.

3. Tania Vulcano/Tato/Tuccillo – Teflon – “Dirty Jam 96”

I guess you’d call it tech-house, but it has an old-school ravey vibe that I like.

4. Shit Robot – I Got A Feeling

5. Lil Tony – Raw Trax Vol 2  – “Karamba”

I was a huge fan of Raw Trax Vol 1 and I quite like this one too. I like the moodiness of Karamba.

6. Spectacle – Prism

A hot jam from friends of mine in Munich. Nice deep old school house music.

7. Hard Ton – Flawless EP – “Flawless” (Snuff Crew remix)

More great old school sounding Chicago house, Snuff Crew on the remix this time.

8. Siopis – Really Love Ya

This is one of my favorites right now. Murk type groove with a sweet male vocal to close the night.

9. Murk presents Liberty City – Some Lovin

The original, a classic, one of my old faves.

10. The Crystal Ark – The City Never Sleeps

More awesome craziness from Gavin Russom.
