Dubstep forum award winners
Young Bristolian Joker has taken out the coveted best producer prize in the 2010 Dubstep Forum Awards, followed by 16 Bit and Skream.
Unsurprisingly, Joy Orbison was crowned best new producer and Skream took out the best DJ gong. Hyperdub won best label, and the compilation released to celebrate its fifth anniversary won the best album/compilation.
The biggest surprise came in the best track category, with Joy Orbison’s ubiquitous “Hyph Mngo” finishing third, behind Emalkay’s “When I Look At You” and Excision & Datsik’s “Swagga”.
We were very proud to take out the “Best Record Store” category – many thanks to all those who voted for us!
