IDIB announce After Dark Vol. 2

As we exclusively revealed in our recent interview with Johnny Jewel, the achingly cool Italians Do It Better imprint will release a follow-up to the After Dark compilation this year.

Jewel’s partner in disco crime, Mike Simonetti, posted details on his blog this week.

“We are pleased to announce that the new Italians Do It Better label  sampler is almost done,” he wrote.

“Into The Black” (aka After Dark Pt. 2)  features new and exclusive tracks from Desire, Glass Candy, Chromatics, Mirage, Farah, Bottin, Twisted Wires, Appaloosa… three years in the making. It’s going to be epic!”

Meanwhile fans of the Chromatics are  in for a double dose of good news – with Simonetti also revealing the band was working on a new 2 x LP, also to be released this year.
