Maurice Fulton talks shop

Our friends at the Red Bull Music Academy have sent us a fascinating video in which Maurice Fulton explains the finer points of beatmaking.

The acclaimed house producer was addressing participants at one of last year’s Academy workshops, attended by a host of up-and-coming producers from around the world.

This year’s selection of workshops, lectures and panel discussions will include, amongst others, Drums of Death and Stones Throw’s psyche devotee b-boy James Pants.

They will be held in London over two terms, February 7-19 and February 28-March 12.
