The former Factory Records office in Manchester is set to re-open as a nightclub, the NME has reported.
The new owners will surely be hoping to tap into the spirit of the former Factory Records’ super-club The Haçienda, the spiritual home to acid house on this side of the Atlantic.
The club, which will open on January 29 under the name ‘FAC251’ (the Haçienda was FAC51), will be located on Princess St in Manchester.
Factory Records, which was run by the late Tony Wilson, had the likes of Joy Division, New Order and the Happy Mondays on its books.
