Following up the successful release of “All Woman”, Vienna’s Skwerl is at it again, this time fusing forward thinking techno with his Austrian Jazz influences that are the heart and soul of his latest EP, Liron.
Having previously released his work on labels like 4LUX, Sonar Kollektiv and Defected, this is his first release in the classy company of DJ Hell’s Gigolo Records.
On the a-side, the title track maintains an orchestral urgency that overlays the soothing arpeggio rhythm’s backdrop.
Then “Treble Agency” drives it all home, hitting hard and fast with a heavier, jack-centric beat splattered with strings and horns that calibrate as the track unwinds.
