Notes: The AION Modular 904A Low Pass filter is an Eurorack clone of the classic Moog Modular Low Pass filter (should not be confused with the Mini Moog Low Pass filter).

The 904A Low Pass filter attenuates frequencies above the Fixed Control Voltage (cutoff frequency) point at a rate of 24dB per octave. The cutoff frequency is voltage controlled through the three control inputs at the bottom of the module (1v per octave).

The Regeneration knob (resonance) varies the amount of internal feedback, creating a resonant peak at the cutoff frequency.
The Fixed Controlled Voltage knob adjustes frequency over 12 octaves span (1v per octave).

The Frequency Range switch:

1- 1Hz to 5kHz
2- 4Hz to 20kHz

Notes: The AION Modular 904C Filter Coupler is an Eurorack clone of the classic Moog Modular 904C.

The 904C Filter Coupler connects the 904A Lowpass and the 904B Highpass together to produce a Bandpass or a Band Reject filter response.

Bandwidth can be extended to three octaves and Center Frequency ranges from 5Hz to 20KHz. Both can be controlled manually or via control voltage.

The 904C provides a wide variety of signal processing and we strongly encourage experimentation but we advise to start with the following settings:

The DT 770 Pro is a closed dynamic headphone and has been designed for critical music and sound monitoring. The single sided cable makes the handling of the headphone easy. The cushion system allows the DT 770 Pro to be used comfortably for long periods of time.

The circumaural design with velour cushions and adjustable headband makes the DT 770 headphones really comfortable, even over prolonged periods. The DT 770 250Ohm version is designed for the studio, delivering a higher impedance and a slightly more accurate response than the 80Ohm versions. The higher impedance also means you can safely use multiple headsets from the same source.

The 2 most common complaints when mixing using closed back headphones are that they are uncomfortable and don't produce enough bass, leaving mixes overly compensated (see the FAQ further down for the reasons why). The answer to first problem is to buy open back headphones, but they are no good for recording purposes and may not solve the second issue of bass response. Fortunately, the DT 770 Pro tackle both these problems, delivering an impressive nominal frequency response of 5Hz-35kHz using their innovative bass reflex system with a very large cup and velour cushions that let air through but not sound, thus reducing pressure.

The Beyerdynamic DT 770 Headphones 80 Ohm are closed back dynamic headphones that use the same comfortable, sound isolating design as the 250 Ohm studio version, but with a lower resistance for general purpose and mobile applications. Because of the lower resistance, the DT 770 Pro 80 Ohm headphones are louder and work on low power devices such as smart phones, MP3 player, laptops and bus powered interfaces. Therefore, if you are working in a loud environment or using a battery operated device, the Beyerdynamic DT 770Pro 80 Ohm headphones make the perfect choice of headphone.

When out and about, you really need to block as much ambient noise out as possible and a lot of headphones do this by clamping the ear-pads as tightly to your ears as possible and using materials that absorb a lot of sound. This produces two unwanted issues; discomfort, after prolonged use; and a loss of audio quality as sound being generated by the driver is absorbed by the cup. The DT 700 Pro series avoids this by using a clever bass reflex system and a large circumaural cup design with velour pads. What does this module do?

This module allows you to add that dynamic 'accented' sound found in vintage gear like the Pearl SY-1 without having to build one of those kits, or hunt down the original. This module was influenced by such gear, but with modern parts. The goal was not to clone, but to get you really close results.

-There is a vca on the envelope output (DEPTH) with it's own CV Level input. This Dynamic Envelope has it's own output to give external vco's a 'pitch' ability. To do Disco 'POW' for example.

-There is another vca set up with CV Accent control just for the audio input.

If you patch up a sequencer, you can get very close results to the DFAM envelope portion.

The new Queen of Pentacles covers the range of Dance/EDM/Techno music styles and is inspired by the famous TR-909.

The module offers seven drum sounds. Three drums are analog - bass drum, snare drum and clap. The other four drums are sample-based. Just .wav files playback directly from a microSD card with additional volume envelope, decay and pitch control. Those are simple modifiers but help you to shape the sounds played as one-shots.

There are 7 sounds in the drum kit. 3 drums are analogue - bass drum, snare drum and clap. These 3 are generated analogue for the following reason: each sound has its own binary noise generator and really - each time they are triggered the flavor is unique - they simply never repeat. At the same time they don't phase out each other as in the original 909, which is great - for example in the situation when reinforcing the clap on 2nd and 4th with an additional beat of the snare.

The other 4 drums are sample-based. Just .wav files playback directly from a microSD card with additional volume envelope, decay and pitch control. Those are simple modifiers but help you to shape the sounds played as one-shots.

Back then when Endorphin.es launched BLCK_NOIR, they introduced the next product line with black panels, as people liked the new styling. Now, along with continuation of the black panels comes another leap forward: New aluminum knobs suit the design perfectly.

Analog clock signals are configurable in polarity, start/reset behaviour and feature a flexible clock divider. An analog LFO is available with various waveforms and a range of 0-5V.
If you got them configured, channel settings can always be named and saved as a preset for later recall. Just in case you have a lot of gear.

USB Add-On
If you want, you can have your multiclock with an extra class-compliant USB Midi Add-On.
This enables you to send any MIDI commands from a DAW to your connected slaves while syncing to audio clock.
There is one virtual MIDI output for each channel and all commands are priority-merged with the accurate clock.

Notes: The Borderland is an advanced digital reverb with a versatile tap tempo LFO/modulation section. At its core, is a reverb algorithm designed specifically with an ambient player in mind. It has an adjustable low-pass filter to alter the character of the reverb, ranging from small room reverb to a cavernous, dark hall reverb.

There are 8 LFO waveforms to choose from and 4 unique modulation modes (tremolo, chorus, triple octave tremolo, and octave slide). Set the LFO rate manually by using the "Velocity" knob or using the tap tempo option (right footswitch).

The left footswitch sends the pedal into near infinite sustain with the trails teetering on the edge of self-oscillation. The "Effect" and "Clean" knobs allow you to independently dial in the perfect ratio of wet and dry signals. Adjusting the "Ambiance" and "Brilliance" knobs sets the length of decay and the cutoff frequency of the onboard low pass filter.

The Borderland is the perfect pedal for creating lush, modulating, ambient textures.

Modulation Modes

The four modulation modes can be accessed through different toggle switch combinations.

Left Toggle - dB / Right Toggle - OFF

LFO affects the volume of the reverb signal, creating a tremolo effect


Left Toggle - HZ / Right Toggle - OFF

LFO affects the pitch of the reverb signal, creating a chorus effect

Triple Octave Tremolo

"Clean" - Sets the volume of the original dry signal
"Ambiance"-Sets the overall decay of the reverb trails

"Brilliance" - Sets the cutoff frequency of the low pass filter

"Effect" - Sets the volume of the wet reverb signal

"Velocity" - Manually sets the LFO rate

"Modulation" - Sets the depth of the modulation

"Waveform" - Sets the waveform type. The 8 waveforms are listed on the back of the pedal.

"Secret Mode" - There is a secret mode that can be selected internally by way of a dipswitch. This mode replaces the reverb code with delay code. The LFO section applies the same 4 modulation types to the delay section. The "Ambiance" knob is now delay feedback and the "Brilliance" knob is now delay time.

"Clock Input" - The clock input can received traditional tap tempo or 5V modular clock signals (gates/triggers).

HP/LP: Switches between High Pass Filter (UP) and Low Pass Filter (DOWN)

FILTER: Blends between filtered signal and clean signal. Filters have a fixed cutoff frequency.
PAD: Switches on a "below-the-mix" ambient reverb that sits just at the edge of infinite sustain.

LFO/GLITCH: Selects modulation source for pitch-bending. LFO is a standard SINE wave. Glitch is a how a SINE wave acts after a few drinks.
DEPTH: Controls the depth of the pitch-bending modulation.

At its most basic utility, The Wash is an outstanding analog-voiced, tap-tempo delay with just over 1000ms of delay time.

The Wash circuit is what makes the pedal stand out from other delays on the market. The Wash circuit adds reverb to the signal and through a complicated network of internal feedback loops, subtle multi-head Binson effect, and what is known as "ripple effect," It works to add a hauntingly beautiful wash to your signal in ways that can't be accomplished by stacking a reverb and a delay in series. It does all of this while keeping the clarity and presence of your original signal without getting lost in the soup of decay.

The Wash reacts to your playing unlike the common DSP reverb/delays with an infinate sustain function. There is a dynamic quality to it that is hard to replicate with any other single pedal.

The "Ripple" knob controls The Ripple Effect. The Ripple Effect is a feature in which each successive delay trail slowly scatters and transforms into reverb. The "Resonance" knob is to fine-tune the resonance and decay of the wash. The Middle "The Wash" knob controls the mix/level of the wash.

In addition to an expander that broadens a mono source into a stereo sound image, there's a dynamic range compressor that compresses the high-frequency range according to level changes of the low-frequency region, as well as a side chain effect that's indispensable for dance music. Use these to dynamically vary the mix, adding a professional feel to live performances with the Volca.

Connect an external effect unit for further variety:

The Volca Mix provides a stereo mini-jack send out and AUX in jack, and send level knobs for each channel. This allows you to use it with an external effect unit in a send/return connection. When used in conjunction with a unit such as the mini Kaoss pad 2S, you can also enhance your live performances using standard effects such as reverb, delay, filter, and break. Notes: The NuX MG-300 is a compact yet powerful live multi-effects processor, recording tool and practice companion for guitar players. Integrated effects sections include Drive, Amp Simulation, I.R cabinet simulation, Modulation, Delays & Reverbs with a host of options within each category. Audio modelling is based on the NuX TSAC algorithm, which delivers high definition analogue circuit simulation for pro quality guitar tones. An expression pedal covers wah and swell effects amongst other possibilities. All settings can be edited onboard or via USB using the downloadable PC/Mac Quicktone software and then stored into one of 36 internal memory locations. For live or rehearsal backing, the built-in Jam function has a fully featured drum machine and phrase looper. To integrate with a DAW studio suite, the USB also functions as a high quality audio interface, completing the studio-ready guitar rig. The main output has options for guitar amplifiers, D.I to studio equipment or straight to a pair of headphones. On-the-fly controls and a full colour display complete the package, providing a comprehensive and affordable guitar workstation in a very portable format.

Easily create new patterns using the live performance or step recording modes, then add one of the powerful pattern effects to each channel to take the sequence to a new level. Designed to integrate into any size eurorack system, simply patch 4 audio signals through the integrated high quality VCAs to create a set of unique percussion voices. Eurorack drum programming has come to life.

Anything is a Drum:
Traditionally, patching up a modular drum kit was constrained by the amount of envelope and VCA modules in a system, restricting the number and complexity of percussion voices in most systems. Another option was to use dedicated drum modules that offer a limited sonic palate and few modulation options. The Lifeforms Percussion Sequencer breaks through these barriers by including a percussion tuned analog envelope and VCA on each channel. Patching anything from a basic sine wave to heavily modulated and processed noise sources through the Lifeforms Percussion Sequencer will quickly create a distinctive drum kit that takes full sonic advantage of the unique synthesis options available in any system.

The Mind of a Modern Drum Machine:
At the heart of the module is a 4 channel, 32 step beat sequencer designed for live performance. Seamlessly move around the module tweaking patterns and effects without ever stopping the beat. Create and store up to 32 sequences using live performance or step mode recording with pattern lengths varying from 1 to 32 steps. Patterns can be copy and pasted to easily create multiple versions of a beat. The sequencer is driven by an internal tap tempo or external clock source. A dedicated clock in/out jack syncs the sequencer with other modules.

Four Integrated Analog Envelopes and VCAs:
Instead of limiting the drums to a few onboard voices or lo-fi samples, the Lifeforms Percussion Sequencer uses an analog envelope and VCA built into each channel to shape any audio source into a percussive instrument. The envelopes are designed with a razor sharp attack and variable decay/release allowing for maximum control over the output of each channel. The envelopes can also be used externally. A short envelope creates a trigger while longer envelopes can be used as a modulation source for oscillators, filters, or anything at all.

6 Adjustable Pattern Effects:
The Lifeforms Percussion Sequencer includes 6 unique pattern effects to expand the musical possibilities of traditional grid style beat programming. Effects include everything from swing and beat shifters to glitch and generative algorithms designed to manipulate the sequencer pattern. Each channel can run a unique instance of one pattern effect at a time. A master pattern effect channel is also available that affects all 4 channels of the sequencer. The combination of the channel effect and the master effect allows for up to two effects at a time on each channel. Each effect has one parameter that can be adjusted to dial in the perfect response.

- Shift Effect
Delays the trigger output of a channel by small divisions of the tempo. Use this effect to create half-step or stutter-step drum triggers. Effect knob controls the amount of channel shift. The range of shift is 1/8th to 7/8ths of a beat.

- Glitch Effect
Probability based glitch effect that creates chaotic gates based on a cascading chance algorithm. The resulting patterns are always in sync with some division of the clock, allowing for stuttering but not disjointed patterns. The probability is set using the effect knob. The range of the glitch effect is minimal to absolute chaos.

- Density Effect
Sets the number and timing of triggers created for each active step. The result can be anything from a doubling of the trigger to a rolling effect. The effect knob controls the trigger density.

- Morph Effect
Create evolving patterns. The morph effect is a probability based algorithm that modifies an existing pattern by adding or removing active steps. The effect knob sets the probability that the pattern will morph.

- Swing Effect
A classic drum machine effect meant to mimic the feel of a real drummer by shifting the timing of every other step. The effect knob controls the amount of swing.

- Add/Drop Effect
Temporarily add or drop steps from a pattern. The results are similar to the morph effect but changes to the pattern are not compounded as the pattern plays allowing the resulting pattern to stay anchored to the original sequence. The effect knob sets the probability that a step will be modified.
