Each sequencer has independent settings for the play mode, start point, size (length), clock divider (or step repeat), transposition and duty cycle.

The audio AD/DA is 24 bit, 48 KHz, the internal audio handle is 32 bit float.

Each channel has 6 modes available. By default 2 parameters are assigned to the horizontal & vertical axes but this can be easily tweaked, so it's possible to control any of them (frequency, symmetry, offset or amplitude of the LFO, for example) not only with the joystick but with the 2 CV inputs.

The polarity control & offset of every parameter can also be modified on every mode and every channel.

This module is a eurorack version of the 16n Faderbank, implemented with 16 CV inputs and some other smart add ons. Almost everything is in the front panel.

This new version is oriented for firmware tweaks and future expansions, still being fully compatible with the 16n and the previous Sweet Sixteen.

There are 16 channels, which can be used as:

The Midi CC number and channels can be different for the TRS jack and the USB port. The firmware has been tweaked to allow also Pitch Bend, which is pretty handy because you can get much better resolution through Midi (from min to max values Midi CCs have 128 steps and Pitch Bend has a resolution of 16.384 steps).

The voltage generated by every fader is up to 8v, which is good enough to control eurorack modules (like wide open/close the cutoff frequency of a filter etc).

In the midi CC messages, 0 volts will correspond to a value of 0, and 8 volts to a value of 127. But the CV to Midi can handle also negative voltages, for such task there are 4 slide switches (1 for every 4 faders) that swaps the internal voltage reference in a way that, when activated, 0 volts will be the middle position of the midi controller, -4 volts the minimum value and +4 volts the maximum. Those switches only affect the Midi/i2C outs, CV outs won't be affected by them in any way.

If you plug in a bigger voltage source (like a -5v+5v LFO or a 10v envelope) the fader will work as attenuator, so you'll be able to adapt how that signal affects the Midi CC out, covering the whole Midi CC range, saturating the waveform or just affecting it briefly.

Panel USB port is type B, which seems to be stronger than mini or micro ones.

i2C could connect directly to an ER-301, monome Ansible or a monome Teletype.

The Teensy can be powered via the internal regulator or the +5v eurorack rail (selectable via a switch on the back).

The partial kit comes with all SMD populated, so only through hole components requires soldering work.

TUKRA is an 8 track eurorack trigger sequencer with drum synth, sample player and midi.

This module can be an 'all in one' solution for drums, but also has great integration capabilities with other gear (eurorack modules, drum boxes, DAWs, midi devices and midi surface controllers).

There are no submenus, all functions and views are accessible all the time.

Notes: ART QUAD QUANTIZER is a four channel CV to ART Quantizer to play ART oscillators from CV sequencers, LFOs and anything that outputs CV. This is TipTop#s second ART controller option and is designed for those of us playing ART without a computer or MIDI source. The inputs take in positive, negative, bipolar CV voltages. Scales include Major Minor and the five other modes (Dorian, Lydian, etc). The module is simple to set up with a simple menu and one knob with switch for navigation. The 4th channel can be set to generate Chords and polyphonic note streams for ART Polyphonic oscillators.

Notes: A classic all analogue saw VCO core with 3 switchable modes, ART, 1V/Oct, LFO and is recommended as the basic building block for ART systems. It is designed for patching analog polyphonic synths from discrete modules or multi-mono patches in ART mode. When using ART the ATX1 takes care of the tuning including accounting for temperature changes. In 1V/Oct mode the ATX1 runs as a standard old school modular VCO. LFO mode drops the frequency range and is great for patching vibrato to other ATX1s among other things. The ATX1 outputs variable waveshapes with manual or CV control. Classic FM, PWM and hard sync are provided. A dedicated Gate Out in ART mode manages the voice envelopes or any modulation synced to that voice. TipTop consider the ATX1 the best sounding analogue VCO they have ever created.

Notes: Introducing the BD808, part of our new series of drum modules that brings analog percussion into the modular synth world, instantly turning your system into a self-contained music machine. Its small size, minimalist design, and modern production methods have allowed us to bring the world's most famous bass drum sound generator back at a very low cost. The real thing is here again.

The BD808 is the Roland TR-808's Bass Drum circuit adapted for use in Eurorack format and tuned to sound like a machine that comes fresh off the original 80's assembly line. The adaptation to modular format has allowed us to add some special features like independent Accent levels, a high-powered gain stage, dual-input pulse-shaper, and extended decay - all without compromising the signature sound of the TR-808.

A widely used technique with TR-808 machines is to run the drum sounds through outboard amplifiers to add gain and then pass the sound through just about anything to generate additional harmonics caused by clipping and distortion. In the BD808, we have already included this high-powered output gain stage capable of producing signals up to 20Vpp, extending from the original palette of sounds and allowing you to get an assorted array of harmonized bass drums ranging from sharp attacks to crushed tones using this simple yet effective technique! On the inputs, we have also designed a dual pulse-shaper circuit so you can trigger your BD808 with Trigger/Gate signals from step sequencers, clock dividers, or any other pulse/clock sources. This saves you the need to shape the pulses sent to the module and ensuring the same stable sound at its peak power, regardless of differences in your pulse source.

All these little, but unique, features make integrating this legendary sound generator into your modular easy, unleashing the power of real analog drums and making those speaker cones shake.

Notes: Reverse-engineered from the original machine, our BD909 is an identical recreation of the original all-analog drum circuit of the TR-909. We've added additional controls and synthesis features that turn this classic circuit into a chest-pounding analog bass drum laboratory - all tightly packed into an 8HP module. The BD909 sound differs from our BD808 in that the main sonic energy is centered in the mid to low frequency range (as opposed to the low frequency range of the BD808). This frequency range gives the needed headroom allowing your bass Lines to deeply fill up the low end while the kick drum rides on top - creating a clear and punchy mix.

The BD909 includes all the controls found in the original: Attack, Decay, Tune Decay, Accent and Level. We have gone beyond that and added controls that further increase the palette of sound this circuit is capable of. First off, we've added a tuning control knob for the oscillator and included its own CV input and attenuator that let you tune your 909 kick with your bass lines. Next, we added control knobs for the tuning attack and extending tuning decay - each one affects the other, allowing for very intuitive and interactive sound shaping - this feature opens up numerous "sweet spots", and provides the ability to center the energy peak at different parts of the sound. Finally, we offer additional punch and distortion by giving complete control over the internal waveshaper, which allows you to overload the waveform manually or with voltage control.

Beginning with the classic and pure sound of the 909 kick, these additional functions greatly expand the BD909's flexibility and let it create powerful analog bass drums that range from soft and smooth to punchy and aggressive - and everything in between.

Notes: The Circadian Rhythms is moving modular synthesizer technology another step forward by gluing all the pieces of a system together. Each module or voice can now be programmed to play straight from an intelligent, eight-channel, 512-step master trigger sequencer made for composers looking to make music on the modular. Notes: CONTROL PATH is an all in one voice dynamics module that helps build full voices quickly. It contains two analogue envelopes with velocity cv, and one VCA. In a typical voice patch the left envelope will control a filter and the right envelope will be the voice VCA. Velocity control is provided for each envelope and delay front panel trimmers are used to compensate for any miss match between incoming gate signal and velocity CV timings. Envelope cv outs are 0-5V, Velocity cv ins are 0-5V.

Notes: The CP909 is the TR-909 clap sound analog generator in Eurorack format. This is yet another low-cost analog drum generator from a legendary drum machine in your modular synthesizer, expanding your Tiptop Audio modular drum machine even further.

The CP909 is an exact reproduction of the original analog circuit and, with the addition of just one extra knob, "trashing" the frequency of the internal noise generator, we have added greatly to the spectrum of sounds that can be generated - all that without compromising the signature sound of the TR-909 clap.

The CP909 clap effect is made by a special triple-saw envelope generator that controls the gain of a VCA. The sound source feeding into the VCA is made by a quasi-random logic based noise generator; some might call it "digital noise" though this term might be misleading in today's world of microcontrollers and sound samples. What really makes the noise generator is a ring of logic gates, so primitive, so BO's, and that's the sound of the 909 Clap!

The CP909 includes a high-powered output gain stage capable of producing hot signals. On the inputs, we have designed a pulse-shaper circuit so you can trigger the CP909 with trigger/gate signals from step sequencers, clock dividers, or any other pulse/clock sources. This eliminates the need to shape pulses sent to the module and ensures the same stable sound at peak power, regardless of your pulse source. Based on the architecture of the 909, the Accent input is versatile and able to take in both CV and Gate signals for continuously changing dynamics. All these unique features make integrating this legendary sound generator into your modular synth easy, unleashing the power of real analog drums.

Notes: The Fold Processor is a voltage-controlled wave multiplier and sub-octave generator. The circuit is based on a classic diode design that adds odd harmonics by folding the incoming signal, followed by subdivided square waves.

The wave folder creates new waveforms from standard sine, triangle, sawtooth, and square waves and includes a CV input with an attenuator, making it very easy to create beautifully animated folding sounds. Adjustable voltage-controlled Inject alters the bias point creating an even wider palette of sounds.

The subdivide generator squares the fold output generating 4 more sounds spaced one octave apart, each with its own gain knob and mixed to the Subdivide output jack. Mixing the four can create anything from discordant square wave swarms to sweet harmonic oscillator stacks, from a stable square version of the folded wave to freaky PLL-like glitched slides.

Overall results can sound evil at times and sweet at others, a true multi-faced devil.

Notes: Introducing the HATS808, part of Tiptop Audio's new series of drum modules that bring analog percussion into the modular synth world, instantly turning your system into a self-contained music machine.

The HATS808 is the TR-808's real, analog closed and open hi-hat circuits adapted for use in Eurorack modular synthesizer format and tested to sound just like it did back in the 80's. Adapting to modular foramt has allowed Tiptop Audio to add some special features for each voice, like independent accent levels, a high-powered gain stage, and a dual-input pulse-shaper. Filter Q and VC-Q knobs were added to the main band-pass filter for additional tuning and to allow you to generate crushed tones and self-oscillation at the knob's max position - all without comprimising the signature sound of the TR-808 hi-hats.

The HATS808 sizzling sound is made using six analog square wave oscillators mixed and processed by band-pass filters. This multi-oscillator design is what give the 808 hi-hat sounds their unique metallic character and akes each HATS808 sound slightlty different from one-another. The original "choke" circuitry that makes it sound so dynamic and tight is fully implemented, just like the original, but can also be disabled if needed, by disconnecting the internal connection between the two hats.

Just like the other drums in this series, the HATS808 high-powered output gain stage allows you to further harmonize the sound using distortion and clipping. On each input, there is a dual pulse-shaper circuit so you can trigger your HATS808 with Trigger/Gate signals from step sequencers, clock dividers or any other pulse/clock sources. This eliminates the need to shape pulses sent to the module and ensures the same stable sound at peak power, regardless of your pulse source. All these unique features make integrating this legendary sound generator into your modular synth easy, unleashing the power of real analog drums.

Notes: MISO is a multipurpose utility module, a laboratory for synthesizing control voltage signals and audio. MISO combines multiple CV tools into one module for making complex CV shapes at the output stage. The name comes from the four main functions available: Mix, Invert, Scale, and Offset.

MISO's 2 sections (1/2 IN and A/B IN) are identical. Each section has two inputs that can be used to Mix signals, Invert polarity/shape, Scale magnitude and Offset voltage. Each function can be used independently or simultaneously with the total shape summed to the mix output.

At the centre of the module is another processor, an accurate smooth linear voltage-controlled crossfader that mixes equally between the outputs of the top and the bottom MISO sections. Feed the MISOs with envelopes, LFOs, Sequences to create new shapes and then crossfade them manually or with CV using the centre section for even further complexity of shapes and animation of control signals. Crossfade between the waveforms of a VCO or audio samples with CV for more motion.

There are an endless number of ways to patch MISO with unexpected and inspiring results. MISO is the kind of module that gives modular synthesizers its incredible replay value, rewarding hours of creative explorations and its experimental and non-traditional mixing.

MISO offers a lot in a small comfortable module that matches Tiptop's system look with clean white faceplate styling. A red/yellow indicator light next to each section makes it easy to see signals and visualize polarity.

Notes: MIX7 is a seven channel analogue summing mixer module for Eurorack. It is designed for summing any of the different types of signals you'll find in a modular system: Audio, CV, Triggers, or Gate.

MIX7 gives ability to sweeten your mix with more headroom using the power of low noise analog summing. Tiptop MixBus is a new method we have developed to mix audio signals through the Eurorack power bus board without patch cables. A little bit of magic, eh? Although this technique is not ideal for a low-noise mix, we found it to be useful for some applications, including mixing our drum modules, which all have a MixBus-enabled output. The result is that your drum modules are always available and mixed on the master out of the MIXZ with a flip of a switch. This will save you time and frees up cables for repatching sound again and again, while keeping the channels of MIXZ free to bring other signals into the mix.

The Z-DSP has a stereo digital sound processor with 24-bit sampling, 15kHz of bandwidth, voltage-controlled parameters of stereo feedback, program switching, DSP parameters, equal power crossfading dry/wet mixing, as well as sequential program control switching and a clear display - all in Eurorack format. A dedicated clocking input for the DSP chip does wonders to passing sound by bending the algorithms in an unexpected way, a hardware technique computer plugins can't do and is unique to the Z-DSP.

Notes: ZVERB is a collection of all new reverb algorithms developed by Tiptop ranging from typical reverbs to more complex effects that combine delay and pitch shifting with reverb. The effects are grouped by decades based on either the era an algorithm was introduced or the time when the effect was most popular. This variety of reverbs covers small to epic size spaces with the addition of shimmering, feedback tunnelled pitch shifting, tape delay drivers, gated reverbs and a lot more. Analog clocking of the DSP chip and CV over the parameters enables even more experimentation. This is a collection inspired by the best from the past right at your fingertips.

Notes: PERC features 256 percussion sounds with tight attacks and a bright harmonic spectrum. This collection is specifically focused on shorter percussive samples and includes material such as multi-layer drum & percussion hits, chopped & processed loops, synthesized FM strikes, mallet and bell tones, sampled drum machines, various toms and hand drums, obscure noise boxes, sampled old-school game chips and much more. PERC makes full use of ONE's snappy character.

All samples on the card are available for playback at 48k, 64k and 96k for maximum versatility in pitch control while maintaining latencies of as low as 0.25 ms.

Notes: SBSTRT features 256 recordings of raw, natural earth sounds, all of which were created by manipulating numerous materials such as metal, stone, ice, earth, plastic, wood, vegetables, fruit and liquid to name just a few. Everyday sounds you may hear in a construction site, warehouse, traffic, crowd, factory, subway, garden, park, office or forest have been identified, performed and captured for integrating into the modular synth. These raw & unprocessed sounds were carefully edited to highlight their percussive qualities, making them an ideal counterpart to the electronic modular sound palette.

Notes: V Haus features 256 Deep House chords formed, structured and shaped from a variety of classic and modern day synths by Voltage Disciples chief sound designer Richard Somerville. The chord structures have been especially chosen to provide the configurations often used in Deep House and provide a starting point or stepping off point for complex chords in the modular environment. Some samples have subtle delays and reverbs which add characteristics often found in Deep House whilst others remain dry to allow the user further experimentation with modular delay's, reverbs and FX etc. With ONE's tape-like pitch control these chords turn into beautiful pads and bass material inside the modular.

Notes: The Ar Merc'het Brao pedal is comprised of two filters and two overdrive sections.

The filters are resonant with a slope of -12dB. A switch allows to switch each filter from LowPass to HighPass. The filter cut-offs are voltage controlled thanks to dedicated CV inputs. Additionally, the Ar Merc'het Brao features global controls for cut-off and resonance.

It can be used with a stereo signal or with two mono signals. The module is modular as well as guitar friendly.

As usual at Touellskouarn it has a Breton name: Ar Merc'het Brao means "The pretty girls".

Notes: Blokan is a ring modulator for Eurorack based on tubes and transformers. It is built like a classic diode ring modulator, but the diodes are tube based.

The built-in VCO provides the carrier signal (saw wave) and can also be tapped using a dedicated output. The VCO provides a voltage control input. The carrier signal can also be replaced by an external signal.

The module sounds different from conventional ring modulators due to the tubes. There may be slight noise and the carrier wave may crosstalk in the output.

Notes: The Touellskouarn Eread Jedonian is a quad splitter from TRS to 2x mono mini jack combined with a bidirectional Hz/V converter. Additionally it offers V-Trig to S-Trig conversion.

The Hz/V standard works with Korg MS and old Yamaha CS among others.

Notes: The "Luskellader Frekans Izel" is a Low Frequency Oscillator (LFO) that can be used to modulate various parameters of the synthesizer, including pitch, filter cutoff, and amplitude. The module has 2 ouputs, with continuous morphing shapes available at the same time, one Square/PWM, one Saw/triangle/inverted saw. The LFO has a speed switch going from low to audio rates. The 2 knobs are : Speed and Morph. The module is 6HP wide and is made with quality components such as Nichicon/Panasonic caps and alpha pots.

Notes: The Touellskouarn "Sil Kontrollet" eurorack module is a LowPass voltage-controlled filter (VCF) The filter is a 12dB per octave low-pass filter that can be self-oscillated, this way it can produce a sine wave with V/Oct tracking capability. This filter has a unique and distinctive sound, characterized by its aggressive resonance and its ability to self-oscillate. Cutoff can be CV controlled. The module is 6HP wide and is made with quality components such as Nichicon/Panasonic caps and alpha pots.

Notes: TouellSkouarn Strakal Brulu is a handmade distortion and fuzz module. The great sound is due to the new-old-stock east-German germanium transistors.

Very characteristic for the module's sound if the feedback that is coupled to the feedback. The more fuzz, the more feedback - the Strakal Brulu 2 can get pretty nasty and it screams a lot at high fuzz settings and low input level. The fuzz amount can be voltage controlled, with an inverse attenuator. Input and output levels can also be set separately.

Notes: The 1F is a voltage controlled switch, intended to be 'one friend' for your sequencer. Its design has been specially focused on working with sequences, by giving them some randomness, applying transpositions or constant variation over time. For this, 0.1% tolerance resistors have been used to achieve exact unitary gains for precision summing of the v/oct signals. More detailed info on the demo video.
