37-key Eurorack keyboard featuring MIDI functions, pitch/mod wheels & Fatar TP9 keybed with aftertouch
Notes: More and more synthesizer enthusiasts recognize the Eurorack as a huge playground for sound design. Collecting sound modules is like a "fun addiction" where the musician can precisely customize his setup as he goes along without spending a huge amount of money all at once. It's a system that can grow over time into a massively versatile and totally flexible musical instrument.

Waldorf's developers came up with a keyboard that is both intuitive for the beginner and versatile for the professional. And it's just as solid and elegant as all the instruments built at Waldorf in Germany.

The KB37 is a compact and rugged performance instrument. It can house up to 100 HP of modules in its conveniently angled panel that sits right on top of the super high-quality Fatar TP9 keyboard.

With its high-resolution and temperature stable 16-bit CV interface, it provides extremely flexible control for your modules. MIDI channels are programmable, making the KB37 the perfect partner for both studio and stage.

It provides perfect connectivity to all your modules to serve both the player and the sound designer's desires with an array of real-time control elements such as pitch and mod wheels. The professional, full-sized 37-note keybed transmits velocity and aftertouch.

KB37 is compact and easy to transport just like any synthesizer keyboard to add style and reliability to your performing rig.

Waldorf Pulse 2 Analog Synthesizer (monophonic synthesizer)
Cat: 446342 Rel: 25 Sep 13

Analog monophonic synthesizer with large LCD display and stainless steel knobs
Notes: Pulse 2 Analog Synthesizer is proof positive that good things can come to those that wait. For ever since this high-quality synthesizer developer discontinued its original rack-mountable Pulse and Pulse+ programmable analogue monosynths boasting ballsy bass tones and legendary leads beyond compare, those Nineties electronic musicdominating sounds have been severely sought after by those in the know. Which was exactly what drove us into development overdrive to produce an all-new Pulse fit for the 21st Century.

As an all-new, all-analogue synthesizer design, Pulse 2 flawlessly delivers exactly what synth connoisseurs around the world have been truly craving for quite some time - three analogue oscillators living in perfect harmony with a VCF (VoltageControlled Filter), yet we did not stop there: the fresh filter circuits in the Pulse 2 now offer 12dB Highpass and Bandpass modes in addition to 24dB/12dB Lowpass for strengthened sound-sculpting flexibility, while we added analogue Filter FM, two Overdrive circuits, and Ring Modulation from OSC 3, together with Paraphonic and Unison modes allowing up to eight-voice chords - a fantastic feature found on our recently-released Rocket Synthesizer.

Pulse 2 is housed in a sturdy metal desktop casing. Alongside its generous 128x64-character backlit LCD, eight eye-catching stainless steel knobs are available to nimbly navigate through the parameter matrix - logically laid out across the front panel for all to see at all times, set the master Volume, and easily edit display-accessible parameters.

Connectivity comes well catered for courtesy of USB, MIDI In, MIDI Out, Ext In (external analogue signal input), line OUT, and headphone output - not forgetting, of course, CV Out (supporting both the V/octave and Hz/V standards) and Gate Out (V-Trigger- and S-Trigger-compatible), allowing a myriad of suitably equipped older (or newer) synths to be connected to the Pulse 2 to mirror whatever MIDI 'note' information is being played by the Pulse 2, including the output of its powerful ARP (arpeggiator). And if that's not enough to be getting on with, the CV Out can even be modulated in the eight-slot modulation Matrix, making for even more tantalising tone colours and performance possibilities!

Alongside analogue must-haves like a noise generator, Pulsewidth modulation, and hard Sync, other notable features include an Alternating Pulsewidth Modulation mode new to the Pulse 2 (offering a dense PWM sound without affecting perceived loudness), and an XOR Osc mode (that is a binary XOR combination of two PWM oscillators with two distinct output levels - high and low only - capable of producing inharmonic spectra unlike anything associated with any analogue synthesizer other than the original Pulse) - all of which, of course, contribute to kickstarting those still soughtafter sounds right here, right now in the 21st Century. Speaking of which, 500 onboard sound programs should be more than
enough to keep the most diehard synthesist smiling! What's more, all are backwards-compatible with the original Pulseseries, so original Pulse owners can quickly transfer their favourite sounds to their new Pulse 2 via MIDI (dump).

Mini synthesizer
Notes: With the Rocket, Waldorf introduce a new mini synthesizer that boasts a feature set uncommon in its class. With its advanced oscillator section, this small black cube can generate sharp edged leads, gargantuan basses and vast synthesizer soundscapes, that can resound as an 8-voice chord if desired.

The logical layout of the user interface and the choice of available parameters bear witness to the ample experience Waldorf have creating exclusive sound generators. As a result of its heritage all functions that essentially define a synth sound are available for immediate manipulation.

Every knob movement changes the sound directly and with immediate results. The characteristic analog Waldorf multi-mode filter (low/ band/ high pass) can also self oscillate. The integrated boost function intensifies the sound with sheer wickedness. Besides being used for modulation duties, the LFO also contains a flexible arpeggiator that can be synchronized to the outside world using MIDI.

The Rocket is an ideal sound design machine, which in combination with its extremely attractive price, will appeal to any sound designer or musician interested in quality sounds. It works as a stand-alone instrument or in any imaginable music production environment. But its most important feature is of course its sound: a real Waldorf synthesizer, powerful, direct and with a lot of love for the details. Naturally the Rocket is completely designed and built in Germany.

String synthesizer unit with fully polyphonic string sections and monophonic solo sections
Notes: Streichfett combines the best of the now extinct species of String Synthesizers of the 70s and early 80s. Its dual sound engine features a fully polyphonic strings section and a monophonic solo section, which is essential for recreating how adult movies sounded thirty years ago. The Ensemble Effect handles lubrication of the String Section, while the Effects section adds adjustable Phaser or Reverb. Alternatively, the Effect section can be used to animate the strings registration, allowing spectacular sound morphs.

The Solo Section offset presets named Bass, E-Piano or Clavi, and just like in your typical string machine, the sound has little to do with that name. Instead, these are shimmering and slightly percussive sounds that blend well with the string section.

Although the User Interface is simple and easy to comprehend, it controls a rather complex sound engine which is capable to delivers rich and creamy pads unlike any other instrument.

Twelve patches can be stored and selected in the Memory section, USB and MIDI are of course on board.

This edition of the HS8 speaker features mounting points for wall, ceiling and baton brackets - perfect for installations in studios, public spaces and retail environments.

Highly Efficient Transducers:

The HS Series features newly developed transducers that achieve astonishingly smooth response over a wide bandwidth. These transducers utilise an advanced magnetic field design that regulates the flow of magnetic response to provide seamless, natural sonic transitions Every component's materials and design have undergone an extensive cycle of development, re-examination and optimisation resulting in staggering gains in signal reproduction accuracy across the audio spectrum.

Low Resonance Enclosure Design:

The enclosures are constructed from a specific dense and resilient MDF with a damped acoustic response perfectly matched to reference monitoring. Drawing from over a century of acoustic piano making, Yamaha have employed a traditional 3-way metered-joint technique. Common to architectural design, this construction firmly anchors the corners of the enclosure to dramatically improve durability and eliminate unwanted resonance.

Wide Range of Applications:

The 'I' Editions of the HS Series feature flexible mounting options that help bring a stylish aesthetic and classic HS sound to a more diverse range of installed applications.

Yamaha MG10 Mixer (mixing desk)
Cat: 519641 Rel: 21 Feb 14

10 channel analog mixing desk with 3 band EQ
Notes: The Yamaha MG Series of mixers feature a design and construction that will handle the standard wear and tear of the active musician. Featuring the steel chassis that is impact resistant and powder coated, this mixer will take any bumps and scratches without it getting damaged or looking old. The sleek design does not compromise any part of the finished product. A state of the art design allows for convection cooling, meaning your power unit will not overheat your unit after continuous use. Separating the power supply from the analog circuitry inside the mixer allows for near silent background noise, allowing for a serious and high quality output sound. As well as this, the knob placement has been put above the chassis of the console, thus not damaging circuitry underneath should the device ever be dropped or mishandled.

The MG10 includes a number of features that make it stand out above the rest of compact mixers on the market. It has phantom power on the first four channel's class A preamps for any condenser microphones..These four channels also include a 3 band EQ and a high pass filter, allowing a lot of frequency control on such a small mixer. As well as this, three stereo channels for jack devices make up channels 5 through to 10. Outputs are aplenty on the MG10, featuring stereo jack and XLR outputs, as well as a stereo jack monitor and phones output for monitoring purposes.

On top of the smaller MG06, this mixer includes full adjustable panning on all channels, making it easy to give a fully stereo image when gigging. As well as this, the mixer also has an effects out/return function, allowing an external effects board to be added, and with full individual control of the FX level on each channel. As well as this, a compression knob has been added to channels 1 and 2, allowing for easy control over instruments or vocals with fluctuating volumes.

10 channel analog mixing desk with effects and free bundled audio production software
Notes: For a more precise control and enhancement of your sound, XU models of the MG Series come equipped with a suite of Yamaha's renowned SPX effects. Featuring high-resolution Chorus, Flanger, Distortions, Reverb and Delay, all with editable parameters, these are the same multieffects processors used on Yamaha's high-end mixing consoles, giving you the tools you need to elevate your mixes to a higher plane.

For more than a century, Yamaha has been building a legacy of superior craftsmanship and innovation exemplified in all of our products, from an unrivalled catalog of world-class musical instruments to touring-grade professional audio. Now in its third incarnation, the MG Series embodies this pursuit of design excellence, and incorporates some of the same technologies developed for use in high-end professional consoles, including studio-quality preamps, powerful digital processing, and a rugged, reliable construction. With an intuitive, easy-to-use interface, the MG Series boasts an extensive lineup of compact mixing consoles with models ranging from six to twenty channels, suitable for a diverse range of users and applications. For installed, recording, or live music settings, the solid construction and flexible design of these consoles lets you shape your sound with confidence, continually delivering peak performance and a level of sound quality and reliability unrivalled in its class.

Yamaha has always strived to provide sound engineers with the purest possible signal instead of added processing or color to give it a "signature" sound, and the MG Series is no exception. Embracing this philosophy of transparent sound, these mixing consoles deliver a level of sonic purity and sound quality that is unmatched in their class.

Everything you do as a sound engineer is dependent on the quality of your preamps, which determines the direction your mix will take, and ultimately how good it is going to sound. MG Series mixing consoles feature Yamaha's studio-grade discrete class-A D-PRE preamps, which utilize an inverted Darlington circuit comprising two cascading transistors in a configuration that provides more power with lower impedance. Delivering fat, natural sounding bass and smooth, soaring highs, with very low distortion, D-PRE preamps possess an impressively wide frequency range that allow them to handle signal from any audio source without overly amplifying any specific elements of the sound.

The head amp determines sound quality, and op-amp integrated circuits are one of the most important parts in the head amp circuit. MG Series mixers feature new, high-quality, custommade MG01 op-amps that we developed in cooperation with the semiconductor manufacturer. Although many other Op-amps prioritize electrical design and efficiency, we worked directly with the semiconductor manufacturer to focus on sound quality first.

With phantom power, MG Series consoles allow you to take full advantage of the greater frequency response and high sound quality of condenser microphones. The input channel with PAD switch accepts MIC to line level of inputs, PAD Switch attenuates high input signals that often accompany mic'ed instruments during performance, avoiding the clippingthat can seriously affect your mix.

It also includes a headphone/line out jack to easily send high-definition stereo directly to your camera.

Unmatched In Concert:
The Pro is perfect for capturing live performances. Capable of handling up to 140 dB SPL, it can record everything from ear-splitting heavy metal to bass-heavy EDM. Take a line-level* stereo feed from your mixing console and capture room ambience with the X/Y microphones to put your listeners front row center.
* +4dBu line-level is not supported.

Podcasters and Journalists:
The H4n Pro provides the essential combination of mic'ing versatility, portability, and superior audio necessary for impactful storytelling. With support for plug-in power, you can use a lavalier to mic up your subject for podcasts or interviews. Record time-stamped WAV files to sync with video footage in post-production, or embed superior audio directly on your video in real-time through a ?" stereo feed.

Mobile Studio:
With overdubbing and punch-in features, as well as studio-grade instrument effects and emulators, you can create songs from start to finish. The Pro also functions as a 2-input/2-output USB audio interface for PC or Mac. Launch your favorite recording/editing software or use the included Cubase LE to start creating.

High-Performance Mic Preamps:
The Pro features the same high performance, low-noise mic preamps as our acclaimed Zoom H5 and H6 Handy Recorders, with recording and playback at resolutions up to 24-bit/96 kHz. The improved noise floor (-120 dBu EIN) captures audio at lower volumes with less noise and fewer artifacts.

Built-in Stereo Recording:
X/Y stereo recording covers a wide area while capturing sound sources in the center with clarity and definition. The angle of its two unidirectional condenser mics can easily be changed from 90 degrees for a tightly focused stereo image to 120 degrees for a wider image simply by twisting the mic capsules.
The H4n Pro provides an onboard MS decoder for Mid-Side recording with external microphones. This allows you to adjust the width of the stereo image, making it especially useful for sound design and broadcasting.

Inputs and Outputs:
Inputs - The two locking combo connectors accept either XLR or 14" balanced/unbalanced phone cables, handling mic- and line-level signals as well as instrument-level signals. Phantom Power of +24 or +48 volts can be applied to both inputs. Plus, there's a stereo 1/8" Mic jack for external audio sources, including lavalier microphones requiring 2.5 volts of plug-in power.
Outputs - A stereo 1/8" Line/Phone Out, with dedicated volume control, allows for headphone monitoring or connection to your DSLR, while the built-in monophonic speaker allows for quick playback reference. In addition, a USB port enables fast file transfer, firmware updates, and use as a 2-in/2-out audio interface for computers.

Form Factor:
A new rubberized, ergonomic body is perfect for use in the field or with a camera, while new locking XLR/TRS connectors ensure your mic cables stay secure. Highly portable, the H4n Pro can travel anywhere for convenient mobile recording.

Three Ways to Record:
STEREO MODE uses the built-in X/Y microphones (or external mics) and is convenient for recording live performances, acoustic instruments, dialogue, and more.
In 4CH MODE, you can record with the built-in X/Y mics and two external inputs simultaneously, great for getting live room sound and a stereo board feed at the same time.
MTR MODE (Multi-track Mode) turns your device into a four-track studio, with built-in effects, overdub functions, and the ability to work with previously recorded sound files.

Recording Functions:
Pre-Record (for STEREO/4CH mode) - Pre-Record ensures that you'll never miss the start of a great take. The device is continuously listening, keeping the previous two seconds* of audio whenever you hit RECORD.
*One second when recording at 96k or working 4CH mode.
Auto-Record (for STEREO/4CH mode) - Auto-Record automatically starts recording when a user-set sound level is detected. There's also an Auto-Record

Multitrack handy recorder with large backlit LCD display and 4-track simultaneous recording
Notes: Zoom products are constantly evolving to meet the needs of the creators who use them. With the H5 Handy Recorder, the tradition continues. The H5 provides four tracks of simultaneous recording and, like the flagship H6, it can use all Zoom interchangeable input capsules, allowing you to choose the best microphone for every recording situation. The flexible and powerful H5 provides everything you need to create multitrack recordings, audio for video, and state-of-the-art podcasting, broadcasting and electronic newsgathering.

X/Y recording allows you to cover a wide area yet still capture sound sources in the centre with clarity and definition, making it ideal for all types of live stereo recording. The XYH-5 X/Y microphone capsule included with the H5 provides two matched unidirectional condenser microphones set at a 90 degree angle. These are housed within an advanced shockmount that employs rugged external mic wires and rubberised material to isolate the unit from the H5 body and thus minimise vibration and handling noise. The design of the XYH-5 also allows the H5 to handle louder sounds than any other Handy Recorder model: 140 dB SPL, to be precise - equivalent to the sound of a jet aircraft from less than 200 feet away - enabling you to capture sounds louder, closer, and cleaner than you ever could before.

In addition to standard transport controls (stop, play/pause, record, rewind and fast-forward), the front panel of the H5 offers dedicated record arming buttons for each track, which double as mute switches during playback. A Hold switch disables all front panel buttons to prevent accidental operation during recording. The H5 can be attached to a camera strap or, with the use of our optional Hot Shoe mount, mounted directly to a DSLR or camcorder.

The H5 also provides everything you need to connect with the outside world. Dual combo XLR/TRS inputs that can handle both mic- and line-level signals allow you to connect external microphones and line-level devices like mixers, portable music players, effects processors and electronic keyboards - even electric guitars or basses equipped with active electronics. Each H5 input has its own dedicated gain control knob, located beneath a protective bar that prevents accidental movement during handling. The supplied XYH-5 X/Y capsule also provides a secondary input for connecting stereo mic- or line-level signal via a 1/8" mini phone jack. The H5 supports a +4 dB (professional) input level and utilises the same high-quality preamps as our flagship H6, ensuring great-sounding recordings in all sonic environments.

There are lots of output options as well. A dedicated Line Out with adjustable volume allows you to send a stereo audio output from the H5 to the mic input of a video camera or other device without the need for an attenuator cable. In addition, there's a separate headphone output with a dedicated volume control. You can use both outputs simultaneously to route audio to your DSLR while monitoring over headphones. There's also a built-in speaker for fast access playback, and a USB port which allows the H5 to be used as an audio interface for your computer or iPad.

Just 2 AA batteries - either alkaline or rechargeable NiMH - are required for power. When using alkaline batteries, the H5 will operate for more than 15 hours, even while recording continuously. You can also use an optional AC adapter to power the H5 without batteries. The H5 records directly to SD and SDHC cards up to 32 gigabytes. Maximum recording time is dependent upon the card size and file type; for example, the supplied 2GB SD card can hold approximately fourteen hours of stereo 320kbps MP3 files, three hours of stereo 16-bit / 44.1 kHz WAV files, or an hour of stereo 24-bit / 96kHz WAV files.

The H5 can operate in two different modes - choose stereo for two-track stereo recording, or multitrack for four-track recording (in either stereo pairs or individual mono tracks) - and it captures audio in the two most commonly used file formats: WAV and MP3.

The WAV files recorded by the H5 can be 16- or 24-bit, with sampling rates of 44.1, 48, or 96kHz. They are automatically time-stamped and thus Broadcast Wave Format (BWF) compliant, allowing for precise synchronisation in video post-production. MP3 files, while slightly lower in fidelity, are much smaller than WAV files and are thus easier to email and post on social networking sites - allowing you to quickly and easily share your creations around the world.

B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order***

The rack-montable TAC-8 audio interface is designed to act as the central hub in both professional and home environments. It provides 8 analog inputs and 10 analog outputs, as well as 10 digital inputs and ouputs (in both S/PDIF and ADAT Optical formats), plus Word Clock and MIDI I/O.

Wheter you want to record large multi-channel 24-bit/192k sessions in your studio without worrying about latency or you want to bring your onstage performance to new heights, the TAC-8 allows you to take advantage of today's latest technology.

With 8 analog inputs and additional digital options, the TAC-8 allows you to record what you want, when you want. Record drums, bass, guitar, and vocals all at once, or go big with a 8 mic drum setup: or anything inbetween. Thunderbolt speeds will ensure you won't have to deal with latency issues. The software mixer and output options let you customize your session to your needs.

The TAC-8 allows you to use your laptop onstage with high quality sound. Simply connect it to your computer with a Thunderbolt cable and then connect the rear panel TRS outputs to your mixing board or PA system. Whether you're a one-man band with an epic onstage rig or your TAC-8 + computer is the central hub for a band leveraging software effects and instruments, with 10 analog outs you can customize your rig to your needs.

Thunderbolt technology opens up new doors for audio engineers. With Thunderbolt, the TAC-8 provides 8 high-quality analog inputs, as well as up to 10 additional digital input options, at near-zero latency speeds. This gives creators of all kinds the best technology available in an easy to use interface, taking their work to new heights.

More than twice as fast as USB 3.0 - not to mention twenty times faster than USB 2.0 and twelve times faster than Firewire 800 - Thunderbolt is the interconnection technology of the future. Co-developed by Apple and Intel Labs, it allows signal to be transferred at an incredibly fast 10 gigabits-per-second, which means virtually no latency. Thunderbolt interfaces such as the TAC-8 are also unaffected by computer jitter (slight variations in timing).

The TAC-8 provides a wide variety of both analog and digital connectors. Eight front panel combo XLR/TRS inputs accept mic- and line-level signals. Inputs 1 and 2 can also accept instrument-level signal from guitars and basses. Dedicated input gain controls and Clip LED's make it easy to set optimum input levels, and the selectable multi-channel Phantom Power feature allows for the use of condenser microphones.

Dual balanced analog TRS output jacks enable you to connect the TAC-8 to amplifiers or self-powered speakers, and there are also 8 discrete balanced TRS analog line outputs for multichannel monitoring or connection to external effects devices.

A large front-panel Output knob offers fast control of main output level, and there are two independent 1/4" stereo headphone jacks, each with its own dedicated volume control for private monitoring.

ADAT and S/PDIF digital inputs/outputs allow for the use of up to 10 inputs from external interfaces as well as 10 outputs, providing a combined total of 18 inputs and 20 outputs through the TAC-8 device. Built-in Word Clock allows for syncing between devices, and MIDI In/Out allow electronic keyboards, sequencers, and drum machines to be connected through the TAC-8. Thunderbolt speeds ensure precise audio and MIDI sync.

In standalone mode, the TAC-8 can be used as an 8-channel mic preamp and analog-to-digital or digital-to-analog converter without being connected to a computer.

The TAC-8 performs 4-times upsampling during both analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion. In other words, when the sampling frequency is set to 44.1kHz or 48kHz, the TAC-8 processes the signal at high resolution 176.4kHz or 192kHz respectively. For A/D conversion, this means less aliasing noise; for D/A conversion, this means increased clarity and fidelity.

TAC-8 MixEfx is a free Macintosh application designed specially by Zoom for the TAC-8. It provides a comprehensive onscreen mixer, with independent level, phase reversal, and panning control for each channel. TAC-8 MixEfx also allows you to freely route all inputs to all outputs and to create custom mixes for each pair of outputs. In addition, a variety of reverb and echo effects can be used as a send/return effect. Complete mixes can then be stored in three different memory slots, allowing instant total recall.

Video synth for creating live visuals from audio
Notes: Welcome to the world of the ETC, Critter & Guitari's video synthesizer! The ETC reacts to music to create endlessly mesmerizing visuals. It is simple to use, just plug it in and start creating. But don't be fooled by the simplicity of the ETC, there are many features and goodies hidden inside. Whether you are creating live visuals, working on a music video, or want to program your own graphics, the ETC will become an indispensable tool.

The ETC comes with numerous pattern generators called modes. Navigate the modes using buttons, and then tweak their visual appearance using four knobs. The modes respond to audio input in various ways; from smooth undulating patterns to rapid fire animations. There is a global control for background colour and a setting that allows the graphics to pile up in vibrant collages.

When you happen upon a setting that you like, press the scene save button to save it. Now this scene can be recalled at a future time. The screenshot button saves the current frame as a JPEG to the USB drive on the side of the device.

The ETC features MIDI inputs so you can automate it with other devices or your favourite computer performance software. Program change messages recall saved scenes and CC messages control the visual parameters. You can easily create visuals in sync with the rest of your tracks!

If you really want to go deep, you can also program your own modes for the ETC. Modes are written in Python. Attaching a USB WiFi adapter (sold separately) turns the ETC into a WiFi hotspot so you can edit and create modes right from a web browser.
