Standalone mode for DAC and ADC use.

Not every studio task requires a computer. The Revolution 6×6's DAC, word clock, and D/A conversion features can all be used without a computer; just press and hold the "Standalone" button. Hook up your media player via S/PDIF and enjoy good old-fashioned hi-fi listening with good new-fashioned hi-fi conversion, or add two additional output channels from another audio interface or digital mixer.

Many MPCs, synths, and guitar processors also have S/PDIF, which will often deliver better sound than using their onboard converters.

For recording, connect any guitar processor with a S/PDIF output and enjoy high-quality D/A conversion of your custom guitar tones. You can even connect Revolution 6×6 to your computer over USB for hi-fi listening by bypassing the questionable converters in your old laptop. Use S/PDIF to add two channels to an audio interface or digital mixer, all synchronized by the same master clock over BNC.

As a standalone A/D converter, you'll add two superior channels of Black Lion-converted audio over S/PDIF to your existing recording setup - and you won't have to buy an ADAT expander.

Shocking clocking.

The Macro-MMC (Master Music Clock) in Revolution 6×6 was developed from Black Lion's experience creating dedicated word clocks, as well as modifying many embedded clocks found in other recording interfaces. Macro-MMC ensures the best possible performance from its converters, but also allows you to connect external gear via the BNC connections for maximum sync and ultra-low jitter - meaning any devices synced via Macro-MMC are communicating as accurately as possible to minimize the phase distortions that can muddy your high-end and dull your transients.

If you've already invested in a clock you like, that's fine - the Revolution 6×6 graciously accepts clock in.

This compact, portable and lightweight audio interface (only 220 g /0.49 lbs) transfers digital audio data in SPDIF and ADAT format to Windows and Mac computers.

The latest Plug and Play technology guarantees a simple installation, even for the inexperienced user. Numerous unique features as well as RME's robust drivers enable a quick, efficient and comfortable operation of the Digiface USB.

The Digiface USB is an extremely compact & portable digital audio interface with 4 optical ADAT / SPDIF I/Os, and an analog high-quality line/phones output via 6.3 mm TRS jack. Continuing the legacy of RME's famous HDSP Digiface, a triple ADAT I/O interface with phones and PCI interface, Digiface USB simplifies connection with USB 2, does not need an external power supply, and even adds another optical I/O, resulting in 32 channels input and output each when using ADAT optical.

The analog output hosts channels 33/34, and can be used freely thanks to TotalMix FX, RME's routing and monitoring solution that knows nearly no limits in routing and mixing (the Digiface USB does not include FX).

Each single optical port can use either ADAT (up to 8 channels) or SPDIF (stereo). While the inputs adapt automatically to the received signal format, the outputs can be individually switched between ADAT and SPDIF operation. Supported are SMUX and SMUX4. Therefore at 192 kHz either 8 channels via 4 x SPDIF or ADAT are possible on both inputs and outputs.

Its small size, weight and bus-powered operation make the Digiface USB extremely versatile and useful. It could even serve as simple headphone amp for mobile use.

Like all the latest RME interfaces, the Digiface USB also includes the powerful digital real-time mixer TotalMix FX. It allows for practically unlimited mixing and routing operations, with all inputs and playback channels simultaneously, to any hardware outputs. The Digiface USB does not have a DSP, so there are no FX available. Still it includes a dedicated Control Room section with Talkback, Main/Phones, fader groups, mute groups, complete remote controllability via Mackie or OSC protocol, and much more.

Here are some typical applications for TotalMix:

- Setting up delay-free submixes (headphone mixes). The Digiface USB allows for up to 17 fully independent stereo submixes. On an analog mixing desk, this would equal 34 Aux sends.
- Unlimited routing of inputs and outputs (free utilisation, patchbay functionality).
- Distributing signals to several outputs at a time. TotalMix offers state-of-the-art splitter and distributor functions.
- Simultaneous playback of different programs via a single stereo output. The ASIO multiclient driver supports the usage of several programs at the same time. When done on different playback channels TotalMix provides the means to mix and monitor these on a single stereo output.
- Mixing of the input signal to the playback signal (complete ASIO Direct Monitoring). RME not only is the pioneer of ADM, but also offers the most complete implementation of the ADM functions.
- Integration of external devices. Use TotalMix to insert external effects devices, be it in the playback or in the record path. Depending on the current application, the functionality equals insert or effects send and effects return, for example as used during real-time monitoring when adding some reverb to the vocals.
- Every single input channel, playback channel and hardware output features a Peak and RMS level meter, calculated in hardware. These level displays are very useful to determine the presence and routing destinations of the audio signals.

Headphone mixing provides 100% left channel to one ear and 100% to another. Notes: The NANO MIDI EXTENDER is a MIDI extender that is able to send MIDI data up to maximum 100 meter (from sender to the receiver). To connect the sender and the receiver, the user needs to connect a CAT5-CAT5 cable to both devices. Each product has two MIDI ports (one input port and one output port) and can be used as sender or as receiver. The used master unit needs to be powered by the Micro USB - USB A cable. A Master LED and a Power LED show the actual status to the user.

Important Information:

To build up a transmission route between a sender and a receiver the user needs to buy two MIDI EXTENDER.

The product is compatible with any other existing sender or receiver unit you already use in your setup.

High Power Headphone Output:

The ADI-2 FS uses a more powerful version of the proven High Power headphone outputs found in many RME interfaces. With a doubled power of 0.45 watts per channel, 0.1 ohm output impedance, a maximum output level of +19 dBu and very low output noise, the new generation of the High Power circuitry is universally applicable, from IEM to Planar. A relay ensures click-free on and off switching.

Notes: The audiowerkstatt midi-clock-divider divides the MIDI-clock of the MIDI-master, whereby the MIDI-slave runs correspondingly slower. The division-ratios are 1/1, 1/2, 1/3, ..., 1/8, 1/9.

If the division-factor 1/1 is selected, the MIDI-clock is simply passed through. With the division-factor of 1/2 the MIDI-slave runs at half the speed. So 16ths-notes will be 8th-notes and the loop is twice as long.

Very useful to double the loop length of the MIDI-slave (eg MIDI-sequencer or [audio-]looper). When using the division-factor 1/8 and an originally one bar long loop runs over 8 bars.

And good for experimental musicians, especially if an odd division-factor is selected and MIDI-master and slave seem to be not in sync, but from time to time come together in perfect sync.

XMAX preamps, now with remote control

A natural extension for the Studio 192 Studio Command Center

Although the DigiMax DP88 is the perfect companion for any audio interface with ADAT I/O, it was designed to seamlessly extend the analog I/O on the PreSonus Studio 192 studio command center. When the DP88 is connected to a Studio 192 via ADAT, its eight XMAX analog preamps are fully remote-controllable from PreSonus' Studio One 3 DAW and from PreSonus UC Surface control software, extending the Studio 192 analog inputs sonically and functionally.

Easy MIDI control

While we can't provide the same level of integration with every audio interface as we can with the Studio 192, the DigiMax DP88 is equipped with MIDI I/O for easy remote control from anywhere. By using simple MIDI CC messages to control level, phantom power, and direct ADC input, the DigiMax DP88 fits into any DAW environment. Simply connect it to your MIDI interface, enable it as a MIDI device in your DAW, and start remote controlling your preamps and recalling preamp settings with your audio sessions

Flexible I/O makes setup a snap

Flexible rear-panel I/O makes it easy to incorporate the DigiMax DP88 into any studio environment. Access the preamps using XLR or DB25 connections. Eight direct, analog-to-digital, line-level inputs are available on DB25 and can be accessed per channel with a front-panel button, allowing you to keep all of your gear connected at the same time. Eight balanced DAC outputs are provided via DB25 so you can expand your interface's outputs for monitor mixes or speaker switching. You also get eight balanced direct outputs on DB25 and eight channels of ADAT/dual SMUX optical I/O up to 96 kHz.

Notes: The MIDI-Restarter makes it possible to send start/stop commands with the push of a button - not immediately, but synchronized to the next bar of your track. Thus, you can conveniently (de)activate and reset MIDI slaves. Three modes of operation are available:

First mode: The Restarter sends stop and start commands one after the other as soon as the next bar is reached. This means that you can easily start sequencers and pull back already running devices to correct timing. Note: Some MIDI devices are not compatible with this mode, as stop and start messages are sent out very quickly one after the other. If you have such a piece of gear, please switch to the second mode of operation.

Second mode: Similar to the first mode, but the stop command is sent one MIDI clock tick before the new bar is reached.

Third mode: With the connected sequencer running, the Restarter sends a MIDI stop command at the beginning of the next bar. If the sequencer is inactive, a start command is send.

You can choose 4/4 or 3/4 time signatures. Additionally, it is possible to determine whether only the generated MIDI clock and MMC commands (Start, Stop, Continue) are send or if you'd like the Restarter to hand-off incoming MIDI data at the output as well.
