Active nearfield monitor with 6.5" cone woofer and 1" dome tweeter
Notes: Loosely inspired by the look of the classic NS10 studio monitors, Yamaha's HS range offers much more modern sound. Punchy low end and clear highs from this 6.5-inch model.
This second generation of 'HS' nearfield reference monitors, like their predecessors, share the same design philosophy as the legendary NS-10M studio monitors - Providing accurate signal reproduction and superior sonic performance.
The Yamaha HS7 employ a new, highly efficient tweeter providing an extended high frequency range up to 30KHz. The matching HS8S 150W powered subwoofer provides an extend bass when a well defined bottom end is required.
A low resonance enclosure built using a three way mitre joint technique ensures that the corners of the speaker are firmly anchored leading to dramatically improved durability and the elimination of unwanted resonances that can colour the original sound. Yamaha's 'Vortex Sound Control' technology is deployed to decrease unwanted airflows around the speaker ports. This in turn reduces audible noise by up to 6dB.

Active 2 way monitors in white with 6.5" cone woofer and 1" dome tweeter unit
Notes: Everyone loves a white speaker cone, right? Firm favourites since their release in 2013, the HS7s are ideal for entry-level production use or as a monitor for home DJ setups.
Ever since the 1970's the iconic white woofer and signature sound of Yamaha's nearfield reference monitors have become a genuine industry standard for a reason - their accuracy. Unlike studio monitors with added bass or treble frequencies which may sound more flattering at first, HS Series speakers were designed to give you the most honest, precise reference possible, providing an ideal sonic platform to build on throughout the mixing process.
By combining acquired knowledge and expertise with state-of-the-art sound technologies, Yamaha's speaker engineering team have examined, then optimized, every aspect that has contributed to making these monitors the most trusted in the business. The second generation HS Series also adds a new 6.5" model to the lineup, bringing its exceptional accuracy to an even greater variety of recording environments.
Handheld dynamic omnidirectional long body microphone
Notes: The SM63 is designed for handheld use on stage and in broadcast, recording, and television studios. The SM63L and SM63LB are ideal for remote interviews, sports broadcasts, and other situations where longer microphones are desirable.
The smooth, wide frequency response of the SM63 is tailored for optimum speech intelligibility, and includes a controlled low-frequency rolloff for reduced pick-up of stand and wind noise. A built in humbucking coil makes the microphones virtually immune to strong hum fields, such as those produced by studio lighting.
All three models use a patented Shure shock mount system to minimize handling noise. They also include a VERA-FLEXTM grille that protects against damage from a drop of up to 2 meters (6 ft), and is impervious to dents, rust, corrosion, and moisture. An integral pop filter effectively reduces breath noise. The SM63L and SM63LB include a two-stage windscreen accessory designed for outdoor use.
