Notes: The Source D'Energie is a power supply module designed to power up to a 6U case with +/-12v and 5v rails. Wall wart plugs can be used for a skiff or case with few modules, but for anything more than that, a 4A power supply such as this one is recommended. The Source D'Energie has two 16 pin headers, perfect for powering two rows of your system. LED's on the panel indicate the health of each rail at a glance.
Notes: An all-in-one sound factory, the MODULOR114 eurorack analog modular synthesizer is our first product designed as a complete and powerful unit. A great entry ticket to the modular world for someone, a treasure trove of sounds for others, the MODULOR114 encloses the most sought-after analog textures and the modern additions that renders this product unique.
Notes: The ACL Pan Mix module mixes up to four different mono sources into a stereo output with panorama and gain control. It also includes an stereo aux input, which will be added unity gain to the sum for cascading purposes.
Notes: A performance-oriented effect processor with plenty of control possibilities- CV for parameters and tap tempo!
The UF1microfx is the last addition to our range of eurorack modules. It is a performance-oriented digital processor based on a new 24-bit dedicated DSP platform. Reverbs, delays and chorus are the effects that you can find in the module's 16 programme. Delays are either modulated or straight and available in many time signatures.
Manual controls include the direct selection of the programme, the parameter value potentiometers, a great feeling, old-style, button for the tap-tempo and a DRY/WET control to modify the amount of the effect on the output. When turned fully clockwise you can use the unit as a SEND effect.
Delay values are up to 600ms.
The interface toward your eurorack gear includes, apart from eurorack-level input and output with input clip indicator, two control voltage input for the modulation of the fx parameters (that are "summed" to the pots) and a clock (tap tempo) input.
Notes: Meet the DS1drumstation, a bundle of our best modules enclosed in a self-powered enclosure with a lot of performance power to offer!
Enclosed in a 42hp panel, you find three of our best-selling modules: the LS1 lightstrip, the DC1drumcomputer and the SDsimpledrum. Together, they form a modular drumming powerhouse with space for patching, live performance and sound deepness.
Four LS1lightstrips perfectly match with the four CV inputs of the DC1drumcomputer allowing you to change the behaviour of the sequencer in realtime with your gestures (or your recorded CV loops!). The DC1 8 outputs can drive the SD1simpledrum instruments and also connect to a potential external eurorack system.
The DS1drumstation is perfectly compatible with eurorack standard modules and it can be re-housed into your case if you need to. Just remove 4 screws and connect the ribbon power cable!
Notes: A six instrument drum voice module in just 6hp! Individual instrument, level and accent amount regulation, plus a host of alternative modes controllable with a CV input including a scale-quantized synth voice!
This could be either your passport to the world of modular creative drumming or a great additional bank of percussive sounds to stack up against your pre-existing drum modules.
A great addition to any eurorack setup, the SD1simpledrum module is a small and friendly way to start up with modular percussions or enrich a pre-existent system with new sounds and capabilities.
Notes: Your gateway to the light. A CV to DMX interface for your contaminations between sounds, music, and lighting.
Have you ever dreamed of controlling lights with your music? To change the hue of the backdrop of your live set against the VCF opening and closing? The frequency of the strobo to the LFO that triggers your buchlabongos-? Or the pan and tilt of a moving head projector to the pitch and envelope amount of your bassline? Either on stage or in your studio you can enjoy the contamination between aural and optical stimuli and feedbacking one through the other...
You can easily configure the module to control any DMX lighting device, more than one at a time!
Notes: The definitive trigger sequencer for your drumming needs (but not only).
8 track stepsequencer with individual parameters per track, 4CVin to change the parameters in realtime and to navigate through stored sequences
8 tracks, global and individual lenght, store and recall your patterns, song modes, shuffle, master and slave clock, x-y step activation and, first in the market: 4 CV input to change parameters and behaviours on the fly and much more!
If you need a step sequencer for your drum modules, triggering needs and many other things, this is the most potent sequencer out there. Fullstop.
Notes: "Tiny and Adorable", the first handeld real analog modular synthesizer integrated with an arduino platform.
For musicians and hackers.
A simple and cheap platform that will transport the main characteristic of a modular analog synthesizer in a small and friendly format, to be well recognised by musicians, makers and tinkerers worldwide. A small, but loyal to its roots, instrument of sound creation- with a digital platform added as a bonus.
Notes: Modern take on an old-school concept, offering tactile control of synth parameters over MIDI, CV or USB. Built-in CV step sequencer and drum trigger sequencer make it a real all-rounder.
(arches) is Sound Machines' pinnacle in control interface for music machines.
Blending inspiration, power and ease of use, the perfect evolution of the concept of tactile controllers has been created. Built on the foundation of first class touch interfaces (LS1lightstrip and LP1lightplane), present today on thousands of eurorack systems worldwide, Sound Machines have designed a beautiful work of art and technology.
(arches) put a never seen before set of controllers at your fingertips. Sliders, lightstrips (with rec/loop capabilities), lighplanes with z-axis sensitivity and pressure sensitive buttons. Behind those state of the art touch controllers lie a high-speed microcontrollers that joins the elements to create keyboards, sequencers, arpeggiators and eventually your perfect performance setup.
Notes: The AMIX module from Eurorack Hardware has three channel (active) powered mixer in 2HP for Eurorack. Great for both Audio and CV sources. Matte black panel with white graphics. Max gain of 1.
Current Draw: +12=15mA, -12=10mA, +5=0
Notes: The Division 6 Dual Mini Sequencer gives you two handy little sequencers behind one Eurorack panel. Why would you need more than one sequencer? Why would you need mini sequencers?
More sequencers = more steps
Use one for playing notes and the other for transposing those notes
Can be used as a clock divider
Run in parallel for multiple CVs / triggers
Each one gives you the standard CV and gate out, plus an ACC out (Accent? Accessory?) Use it to open up a filter, enable a glide, trigger a drum, or whatever you can think of.
The two sequencers will run completely independently, or you can daisy-chain them using the XP IN/OUT jacks to create sequences of any length.
Each sequencer has its own internal clock to get you up and running in a hurry, but you can connect an external clock if you need greater control of tempo or want to sync with other devices.
The module stores your latest sequence even when the power has been removed (plus some other ones in v2!).
While this kit is designed to give you a Eurorack module, the PCB patterns for the jacks also have holes that will accept Johnson/Cinch-style banana jacks. There are also standoff holes on the main PCB, so you can mount them behind your own custom panel.
This module has lots of LEDs and is very shiny, but only two of them are ever on at a time which keeps it from loading down your power supply.
CLK IN (External clock input)
XP IN (Expansion input; Starts sequencer back at step 1. Use for daisy-chaining multiple units)
XP OUT (Sends pulse when sequencer goes past last step. Use for daisy-chaining multiple units)
ACC OUT (Can be programmed on or off in each sequence step)
Power supply: +12VDC (reverse-polarity protected!).
Power supply (Optional): +15VDC
Current draw: 30ma (+12V) / 0ma (-12V) / 0ma (+5)
Depth: 0.83in / 21mm
Notes: Motomouth is an analogue 3-Band, Sedra + Espinoza Bandpass Filter (DABP) with resonant frequencies that are tuned to the same resonant frequencies found in the human mouth and nose cavities, and these can be varied, independently, to form different 'mouth shapes,' to emulate vowels such as A, E, I, O and U. Motomouth can emulate 16 vowels and 'morph' or 'glide' between each vowel using a single Control Voltage input (1V/Oct), and a Gate to 'snap' to each vowel when required.
Two of the bands (F1 and F2) are used to form the mouth cavity, and the third band (F3) is used to form the nasal cavity, which is reasonably static. Varying F3 makes little significant difference 'in the mix,' but having it is important.
The single Control Voltage is decoded to control F1 and F2 independently, because the frequency bands for each vowel are not proportional to each other over the vowel range. So Motomouth has learned how to 'speak,' so to speak, but it still needs to learn more, and that's where you come in.
Notes: The RATCHET is a 12-channel, up to 64 steps per channel, drum, event and/or rhythm sequencer that features up to 16 'ratcheted' divisions per step. It's quite powerful with per-step variable gate lengths or ties, swing and random with forward, backward and pong-pong play modes. Save patterns on a provided Micro SD card.
Other features include: Per Drum pattern lengths, Per Drum Random Amounts, Drum muting, Random Muting, copy/paste, and so much more!
Notes: The MST Expressor allows you to use expression pedals with your modular, taking a "hands-off" approach to expand your control and creativity. It has two identical powered expression pedal processing units in one handy module, allowing you to do things such as:
Control volume with your foot
Attenuate CV or audio if no expression pedal is plugged in
Add positive or negative voltage with the flick of an ankle:
Sweep a filter cutoff
Direct audio volume control
Attenuate and expand external CV
LFO rate adjustment
Modulation amount control
Current draw: 28mA on +12V; 28mA on -12V
Module depth: 24mm
Notes: The MST MIDI to CV Expander module is a tiny but extremely powerful expansion module for the MST MIDI to CV Converter. The Expander includes an arpeggiator and allows you to have additional CV, gate, velocity, modulation and aftertouch outputs on a separate MIDI channel. You can also set it to the same MIDI channel as the Converter and use one of the three note priority selections, which will allow you to do duophony/pseudo-polyphony. You can daisy-chain Expanders together to add even more channels.
The Expander really shines when it is used with a DAW. Multiple Expanders can be set to different MIDI channels in any sequencer (like Ableton for example), making live performance with your Eurorack simple.
The Expander connects to the MIDI to CV Converter using an I2C cable (included).
Notes: The Synthrotek Verb is a reverb module like no other. This PT2399 unit offers a warm tape-saturated spring reverb sound, but the added flair of subtle modulation truly makes it shine. The input gain knob drops the input amount back to give cathedral-like sounds when the mix is high. Turn the modulation knob manually for pitch bends; patch in a slow LFO or envelope CV to emulate pitch bends reminiscent of a tape echo with a broken capstan. The mix knob is a very fast-responding cross fader circuit which allows audio rate inputs for further FM-like modulation. Add a subtle amount of reverb or crank the mix past 3 o'clock to knock the reverb signal into the rails.
Notes: The OR is a passive dual OR Combiner module in 2HP for Eurorack. Two channels of three inputs to one output. Matte black panel with white graphics. Perfect for adding gates or trigger signals together as each input is diode protected. Passive, no current draw.
Notes: RING is a 4HP dual passive ring modulator for Eurorack. Ring modulation is an essential 'effect' in modular synthesis. You get two independent channels of the classic two-transformer, four-germanium analog design. Matte black panel with white ink.
Notes: The MST Low Pass Filter is a precision analog dual slope output 2 & 4 pole filter. Simultaneous -12 DB and -24 DB outputs with CV control over all parameters. Can be used as a 1V/O sine wave oscillator
Notes: The MST '07 Buffered Multiple is the original buffered mult design invented by George Mattson in 2007. It's a precision mult that is perfect for 1V/O CV sources. A signal plugged into Input 1 will be available from all 14 outputs. Break the chain by adding a second signal into input 2; signal 1 comes out 4 outputs and signal 2 is available at the remaining 10. Plug in as many as 4 inputs, each split 3 or 4 times. What you put in, you get out.
Current draw: V+ max 42mA, V- max 42mA
Notes: The MST Unity Gain Mixer adds input signals together and combines them for a summed output. For example, if you put in a 1V source and a 3V source, the output will be 4V. It's mainly used for CV, but it can also be used to combine audio signals together.
A unity gain mixer is handy in several ways:
Combining gates and triggers. Plug a few sequencer steps into the unity gain inputs, then run the output to a drum synth, VCA, envelope, etc.
Re-shaping two CV sources with a single envelope.
Combining different wave shapes or LFOs to make crazy sounds.
Controlling the CV of one source with the CV of another source. Just plug the CV out of a sequencer into and an expression pedal/touchable CV out into the unity gain inputs.
Notes: MST Voltage Controlled Low Frequency Oscillator is another tiny, useful module packed to the gills with features. Manual and CV control over rate with 3 discrete waveform outputs. A square wave can be used to clock modules such as our Noise, Sample & Hold module. Great for creating vibrato, tremolo or other classic modulation techniques. Great for frequency modulation, especially when connected to the MST analog VCO.
Manual range: Approx 51 Second to Approx 102 Hz
Time with Max range, +5V CV: 1,450Hz
Time with Max range, -5V CV: 1 Hz
Time with Min range, +5V CV: 2 Hz
Time with Min range, -5V CV: 1.5 Hours
Skew range, all waveforms: 14% to 86%
Current draw: V+ max 11.75mA, V- max 12.2mA
Width: 4HP, Depth: 4.77 cm (1.88 in)
Notes: VCO, envelope, slew limiter (portamento), waveshaper, LFO, envelope follower- The EVENT does it all, making it one of the most versatile analog modules available.
ONSET: Controls the positive rate (time) of change in voltage. It has a bipolar CV input jack.
DURATION: Controls the negative rate (time) of change in voltage. It has a bipolar CV input jack.
HEIGHT: Controls the held voltage level when a continuous gate is applied.
TRACK: 1v/oct input. It is particularly useful when patching the EVENT as a VCO.
START: A simple gate/trigger/pulse input that initiates a cycle when the EVENT is patched as a voltage controlled envelope.
SIGNAL input: Can be a constant or fluctuating voltage. This input is particularly useful for mangling CVs.
SIG OUT: The main output, the result of the gate/trigger/pulse input or SIGNAL input.
PLS DLY: A short pulse used for triggering other events as pulse delay (or as self trigger when patching the EVENT back into itself).
Notes: GATES is a vactrol-based VCA and VCF module with high-pass and low-pass audio inputs on one side and a voltage controlled amplifier on the other! Use each function separately or together, as the filter audio output jack normals to the audio input of the VCA. Inspired by west coast design, GATES is also a variable frequency response and resonant Low Pass Gate. Complete control is at your fingers, allowing you to dial classic smooth cutoffs or unique bongos, plucks and other organic rhythmic sounds. Crank up the resonance knob and GATES becomes a VCO!
Notes: Arcadian Rhythms is an arcade button module that can be used to trigger drums, envelopes and other events in a Eurorack system. When the buttons are pressed, they light up and send a gate. As long as a button is held down, the gate remains high.
Mix and match your LED buttons! The brightness between colors will vary slightly, but the trimmers on the back of the module will adjust the LED brightness so the three buttons match. Reducing the brightness will also reduce the current draw (each button draws 41mA at full brightness).
Choose red, blue, green, yellow or white buttons.
Module width: 35mm
Module depth: 6HP
Current draw: +12V: 123mA max (41mA per button)
Notes: DIRT is our new 4HP low-pass filter / effect for the Eurorack modular synth platform.
The DIRT is an unapologetic filter / effect that produces interesting and unique effects via the Bias knob, accessible from the front panel.
It's not a traditional filter; it's an effects module with filtering, ring mod effects, wave shaping and even outright brutal harmonic distortion.
DIRT likes to square things up a bit, so throw in a triangle, sawtooth, sine or other wave forms for different style effects. Even plugging a guitar (using an external amplification module) into the DIRT produces some great sounds and heavy distortion.
- CUTOFF = Cutoff Frequency
- RESONANCE = Increase the Q!
- BIAS = Set the bias correctly or not, the choice is yours
- Version 2.2, which as a buffered CV input jack. CUTOFF CV IN = Voltage range changes depending on where CUTOFF knob is positioned. External attenuation will be needed for fine modulation.
Notes: The VCO is an analog voltage controlled oscillator with a wide frequency range and 8 trackable octaves. It uses the Curtis CEM3340 reissue chip, which is famous for its outstanding sound quality. This is the fully assembled version of the VCO.
Notes: Get the most signal attenuation in the smallest 3U package possible! The ATT module features three independent IN - Attenuate - OUT circuits in one 2HP module. Works great for attenuating both audio and CV signals. Completely passive, so no current draw on your power supply.
Notes: The E-OR is a passive 2HP 'selectable gate mixer,' which means that you can choose between two different gate sources, two trigger sources or BOTH using the three way switch per channel. Great for choosing between various rhythms, clocks, gates, etc. Perfect for manual fills and variation in your set! Matte black panel with white ink. The E-OR is diode protected, so combining two trigger or gate sources is what it is meant to do!
Notes: This Voltage-Controlled Oscillator is based on the Curtis CEM3340 IC.
Power supply: +/- 12V to 15 VDC
Power connection: Eurorack 10-pin shrouded header (Can hook wires to pin holes instead if not building for Eurorack)
Current draw: 9mA (+12V) / 6mA (-12V) / 0mA (+5)
Dimensions, main board: 50mm x 60mm
Eurorack HP: 4
Eurorack depth: 64mm
Notes: Synthrotek's FOLD is a combination Wavefolder and Ring Modulator. The FOLD changes the shape of a waveform in order to create harmonics and find new timbres and sonic palettes. The Ring Modulator circuit mixes two waves together to make metallic, bell-like tones, big bass lines and Dalek sci-fi robotic sounds. Patch your folded wave into the ring mod (or vice versa) for sonic euphoria!
Module width: 4HP
Module depth: 60mm
+12V: 50 mA
-12V: 40 mA
+5V: 0 mA
Notes: The MST Dual Envelope is a simple-to-use yet complex dual envelope generator. Channels 1 and 2 are both normalled to each other to cycle when the other respective channel hits end of cycle, allowing for really interesting ping-pong effects. Each channel also has an end-of-cycle trigger output with LED indicator. Thereis a normal and inverted envelope out. The inverted envelope out can be further modified by the +5 offset switch, which allows the inverted waveform to travel in the positive. The + output level allows the envelope signal to go between zero and the maximum voltage rail. Attenuate the output level down for a more subtle envelope (adjust to taste).
Current draw: V+ max 10mA, V- max 8mA
Notes: The 1U Mattson Buffered Multiple is a PRECISION buffered mult that is perfect for 1V/O CV sources. A signal plugged into INPUT A will be available from all 8 OUTPUTS. Break the chain by adding a second signal into INPUT B; signal A comes out the 4 "A" outputs and signal B is available at the 4 "B" outputs.
Please note: Synthrotek's 1U products do not fit in Vermona or Intellijel cases.
Current draw: +12 18mA, -12 18mA
Notes: The M/DIV is a CV-controlled dual clock multiplier/divider with tap tempo, ideal for complex generative patching, sequencer timing and unique rhythm generation. The M/DIV has three clock outputs: a master clock and two multiplied or divided clocks. Each channel can do either multiplication or division with the flip of a switch.
Notes: OBEY is a dual-function module: one half envelope follower and one half attenuverter / offset generator.
The OBEY takes an audio or CV signal and uses it to trigger an envelope or gate for use in a Eurorack system. It is designed to work with a wide variety of input levels: plug a Eurorack module, passive microphone, piezo, guitar, drum machine, Game Boy into your Eurorack system.
Attenuverter / Offset Generator:
Attenuvert your voltage sources up to two times in the positive or negative! The offset generator provides up to 5 volts in the positive or negative.
Notes: This simple passive mixer is suitable for mixing both audio and control voltage sources. Three channel inputs mix down to one output.
It is not suitable for additive voltage applications. All the jacks are switched to ground to minimize external interference when not patched. This can lead to unwanted attenuation of the output signal unless you plug a dummy cable into the unused channel(s) or, even easier, you can turn the channel's pot completely CCW.
Power consumption: none
Module screws included
Notes: The Synthrotek Power Pak converts the power in your Eurorack case to 9V, 12v, and 5V USB. You can easily power guitar pedals, drum machines, controllers, USB lights, charge smart phones, and other devices without having to lug around bulky power bricks. Just plug a male-male connector cable (2 included!), daisy-chain cable or USB cable into the Power Pak, and you're good to go.
Need to add +5V to your existing power supply? By installing one jumper, the Power Pak allows you to add +5V to your power distribution board or bus cable. This can be used to power Eurorack modules that need +5V.
Keep it simple and tidy with the Synthrotek Power Pak!
750mA limit on 9v and 12v barrel jacks
1000mA limit on 5v USB jacks
DC jack size: 5.5 x 2.1mm
Notes: The Octave Fuzz is SynthRotek's take on the classic 70's SuperFuzz circuit, made into a Eurorack module, which has improved on some aspects of the original as well, including an increased output.
Two distinct voices like the original: switchable between scooped midrange and massive midrange bump.
Aggressive: It will sound massive and in-your-face like no other circuit can. This is for sonic explorers and heavy music only. In short, it's not useful for EVERYTHING, but the things it DOES do it excels at. Sounds especially killer for keyboard and bass sounds.
Tuned to give a subtle distorted waveform one octave up via wavefolding (see the video to view this on an oscilloscope). (Completed modules come pre-tuned; there are calibration instructions at the end of the assembly instructions for the kits)
This circuit has been optimized for Eurorack. You can find a guitar pedal version here.
Notes: The Synthrotek Passive Mult is the module that keeps on giving! Use this as either a 2x 1-to-3 passive multiplier or one 1-to-6 passive multiplier. Input one cascades to all 6 output jacks, or can be interrupted by plugging a cable into input two.
What is a passive mult? It is an ideal way of multiplying non-precise voltages in your Eurorack system. (Buffered multiples like the MST '07 Buff Mult are needed to maintain exact outputs of input voltages). Multiply any control voltage or audio sources across your system with ease in a very small and well priced package.
Available as an assembled unit, kit or PCB/panel combo. With such a small part count, this is a great module for first-time DIYers!
Current draw: n/a
Notes: The Quadrangle is quad cascading triggered envelope generator with bipolar output attenuversion. Each channel has voltage control over attack and decay/release, end of attack and end of cycle trigger outputs, and mode (AR, loop and AD). Each channel's EOC is normalled to the next gate input, resulting in interesting rhythmic opportunities. Channel 4 has a "stop" or "continuous looping" switch which allows either a "one shot" cascaded envelope or continuous cycling. The SUM output allows for longer and more dynamic bipolar envelopes, perfect for interesting modulation. Users also have voltage control over all of the attacks and decay/releases simultaneously when using the ALL A and ALL D/R input jacks. Massive function generation, modulation, rhythm and versatility sets the Quadrangle in a class of its own.
Module width: 20HP
Module depth: 15mm
Comes with power cable, 2.5mm and 3.5mm screws
Notes: The MST MIDI to CV Converter is a translator between digital devices and analog synths, allowing you to connect your modular system to a keyboard, computer, phone or tablet.
Compatible with the following hardware:
Windows XP, 7, 8, 10
Mac OS X (any version)
Linux (tested on Ubuntu 14.04)
iPad & iPhone with a MIDI adapter (like an iRig MIDI)
Android devices (3.1 or later) with a USB OTG cable and USB A to B cable (like a USB printer cable)
Notes: The Synthishaper module is made under license of the EMS and is a remake of the EMS envelope shaper known from VCS3, Synthi A and AKS.
It is a very unique modulator which can be used as a trapeze or triangle shape LFO and/or a attack-hold-decay envelope generator. For the real EMS feeling combine the 500e Filter with the 510 Trapezoid. The Trapezoid Generator has Attack, On, Decay, Off parameters. The "Off" parameter can determine a amount of time until the envelope can be re-triggered. A very short "off" time will make the unit loop, changing it into a LFO. VC of Decay time, Gate input and a manual trigger button. Two signal outputs that can be adjusted in level in polarity with one common knob. Additionally the module has an internal VCA which explains the Signal in- and output and is being controlled by the trapezoid signal.
