Cleaning for optimum performance
Our Cleaning solution has been specially formulated to remove dust, oils and also static which can all impair the sound quality of your vinyl. Our carefully balanced formula is a blend of a quick dry 'no residue' degreaser combined with anti-static and anti-bacterial agents to ensure a thorough clean and degrease.

Our record cleaning solution features isopropyl alcohol, which is a common all-purpose industrial cleaner and degreaser that is known to remove grime quickly and dry without leaving any residue. It also contains tetrasodium EDTA, which acts as a buffer, chelating agent and antistatic agent, as well as quaternium-80, another antistatic agent. The final ingredient is citric acid, which helps to disinfect mould and bacteria.

Notes: This brush contains more than one million very fine carbon fibre bristles. The cross section of these bristles is so small that they can easily get into all the nooks and crannies of the record groove. Because the carbon fiber conducts electricity it takes away all the static to earth via the metal handle and the person holding the brush. Then the dust lies loose in the groove so the next set of bristles can easily pick them up and remove them from the record groove.

Notes: This 15 ml (approx 1/2 oz) bottle of SC1 Fluid is formulated for use with the GrooveWasher SC1 Stylus Brush. It is also effective with other stylus brush styles.

Thw SC1 Stylus Fluid is a cousin of GrooveWasher's G2 Fluid. It has a relatively low concentration of organic alcohol compared to the other stylus fluids, which are often 100% isopropyl alcohol. Iso alcohol is an effective solvent but it evaporates too quickly and the contaminants can dry back on the stylus before it is removed with the brush.
