Review: After the 50th anniversary of the Blue Oyster Cult in 2021, the band went to work on their final release. Titled Ghost Stories, the highly expected conclusion to their storied career, brings a rush of nostalgia for fans of the prog rock titans. This album features recently reimagined and completed tracks that have been looming in the band history, mostly dating from 1978 to 1983 unreleased. Some of the material is from sessions workshopping material for an album, some is from performance rehearsals. These tracks were originally recorded hoping to complete and or revisiting when the time is right. There is no better time than being the final release of the legendary band's history.
