Clever sequential signal processing from Joranalogue, capable of a range of functions including toggling signal muter/attenuator, clock divider, rotating shift register or programmable voltage bank.

Supplier's Notes:
Sequencers, sequential switches, counters, analogue shift registers... Modular synthesisers provide a wealth of creative sequential functions for controlling and processing signals. Choosing which of these to include in a system can be a bewildering task.

Except when you don't have to choose. Step 8 represents a new type of modular building block: a sequential tracking/sampling register, which can be configured to provide any of these functions, and many more.

At its heart lies an analogue 1-to-8 signal switch feeding an octet of high-stability track/sample-and-hold stages. Each of these has its own analogue output with an attenuation slider, in addition to a gate output. LEDs visualise the status of each stage in real time. The switch can be controlled sequentially using the built-in 8-step counter, or addressed directly by an analogue control voltage (CV).

Numerous advanced circuit techniques are used to avoid the issues that often plague analogue switching and memory modules. The result: totally transparent signal paths with low noise, distortion and voltage 'droop', yet high bandwidth and precision.

Add to this the ability to 'mute' the inactive stages, pause the counter, reset it, change its direction or even shift the stages on each step, and the possibilities quickly become near-endless. A scanning output takes things even further, particularly making sequencer or addressed voltage source use easy and intuitive.

For those who are feeling adventurous, there are always more applications to try: configurable voltage mapper, hocketing controller, clock divider, graphic waveshaper, multi-output analogue downsampler... Discover a new world of sequential synthesis with Step 8.

4 x 2 USB 2.0 audio interface with 2 x Rupert Neve Designs transformers & D-PRE
Notes: The UR-RT2 is a premium four input, two output USB 2.0 audio and MIDI interface with switchable Rupert Neve Designs transformers on the front inputs. Combined with the onboard, high-quality D-PRE preamps, the Rupert Neve Designs transformers deliver a musical, more expressive sound with rich harmonics, which is especially beneficial for vocals, acoustic guitar and other instruments with a versatile dynamic range.

Offering a studio-quality, mobile production platform with a range of input/output options for laptop and iPad, the onboard SSP2 DSP chip also delivers zero-latency FX for monitoring. The robust UR-RT2 is engineered to offer outstanding quality for its price class, making it the ideal portable production interface for PC, Mac or iOS.

The Rupert Neve Designs transformer:

Mr. Rupert Neve is undoubtedly a legend in the professional audio field. The transformer circuitry is one of the key factors in his numerous vintage designs and also in the latest devices from Rupert Neve Designs, which gives a very appealing touch of natural compression and saturation to the sound.

Input channels 1-2 on the Steinberg UR-RT2 each feature a transformer that Rupert Neve Designs has specifically developed for audio interfaces. With this transformer, a natural distortion can be added to the signal to realize a sound with more depth and perspective, while maintaining the natural sound of the D-PRE itself when the transformer is disabled.

The D-PRE: Beyond precision:

The virtues of the Yamaha-designed D-PRE have been sung by industry veterans and trade press alike since the introduction of this class-leading preamp. A sumptuously detailed high-end, immaculate dynamic response and a rich, rounded low-end sound are the hallmarks of this very special preamp. The UR-RT2 and UR-RT4 feature two D-PRE preamps, each offering stellar recording quality unmatched in this price class. And to faithfully capture and replay the warm, transparent sound of the D-PRE, the UR-RTs feature AD and DA conversion stages with up to 24-bit, 192 kHz resolution.

Updated version of Kali's excellent three-way monitors provide superb sound in a compact format thanks to coaxial mid-range and tweeter drivers. Precise imagine and excellent bass response. Recommended.

Supplier's Notes:
Project Independence

Kali's IN-Series monitors are some of the most innovative studio monitors ever made. Combining the natural advantages of a 3-way design with hyper-realistic imaging of a co-axial mid-range and tweeter, they offer more transparency, lower distortion, and a soundstage that must be heard to be believed.

Performance

Unrivalled Punch and Detail.

The IN-Series monitors are unlike anything you've ever heard. The three-way design lets both the woofer and the tweeter do less work, resulting in better headroom and lower distortion across the frequency spectrum.

At the same time, the coaxial architecture of the midrange and tweeter result in hyper-realistic imaging. This means that you'll be able to hear subtle details in your mix with pinpoint precision.

The design of the system comes together to allow the IN-Series monitors to act as acoustic point sources. They enjoy all the benefits of both traditional 3-way systems and traditional coaxial speakers, with none of the drawbacks traditionally associated with either.

All of this make the IN-5 and IN-8 extremely accurate and easy to mix on. You'll be able to work faster and with more confidence, and your mixes are going to translate to other systems with less work.

IN-8:
140W Class D Power
37 Hz Lower Frequency Response
< 1% System THD 85 dB @ 1M
117 dB Max SPL

Accuracy

The single most important aspect of a studio monitor is its accuracy. A good studio monitor should present the material it's playing faithfully, allowing you to make critical decisions that you know will translate to all the systems that your work will ultimately be played on.

Not only do the IN-Series monitors accomplish this, but their coincident architecture allow them to be more accurate than other speakers in a wider variety of challenging acoustic environments.

Because of the IN-Series' coincident architecture, you may notice a dip between 8-10 kHz when measuring with a single stationary microphone. The dip is an on-axis diffraction artifact of the midrange baffle interface. It is evident in on-axis measurements, but not in total sound power. Perception of timbre should be neutral in most rooms. It is not recommended to apply room-correction EQs to the INs based on single point static measurements.

Imaging

People keep harping on about the "hyper-realistic" imaging of the IN-Series. But what does that mean?

When you listen to a stereo set of speakers, you're hearing information about where instruments and players were placed when the material was recorded. Even with purely digital material, producers can manipulate physical locations of elements in the mix, and you will hear these on a stereo recording.

Not only does this allow producers to create interesting spatial effects, but it means that you can work faster and with more confidence. An accurate soundstage lets you "see" each element of the mix in front of you, so you can hear exactly what happens when you make changes.

2-way systems with good waveguides, like Kali's LP-6 and LP-8, do a good job at conveying this spatial information. However, because the tweeter and woofer on those speakers (and most studio monitors!) are separate, this information gets lost in the space immediately above and below the speaker. This means that at the listening position, you're not hearing the full stereo picture.

The IN-Series solves this problem. The tweeter and midrange share an acoustic center, and the woofer is crossed over at a low-mid frequency, so the distance between the woofer and midrange is well under a quarter wavelength at the crossover point. This means that each IN-Series monitor is acoustically a point source. As such, it has the same excellent directivity that the LP-6 and LP-8 have at their sides in a full 360 degrees around the speaker. You're hearing all of the spatial information at the listening position, so the soundstage that you hear will have every detail that's present in the mix.

Clarity

The IN-Series monitors have very low distortion. This is the result of unburdening both the woofer and the tweeter, so that both are doing less work; the tweeter is only focused on high frequencies, and the woofer only has to worry about bass.

Taking up the space in between in the hero of the IN-Series: the 4-Inch, profile-optimized midrange driver. This driver has a lot of work to do. In addition to reproducing midrange frequencies, it also acts as the waveguide for the tweeter. This means that the shape needed to be precisely engineered to provide an ideal dispersion characteristic for the tweeter.

Effects processor module - 16HP
Notes: Alter is an effects processor for Eurorack format. There are two versions of the Alter which are visually identical except the names "Alter 1" and "Alter 2". This is Alter 1. Internally, 1 & 2 have an entirely different set of effects from the other. Each version features 7 unique and meticulously designed DSP effects.

Control

- Controls for mix, X, Y and Sift as well as clock.
- All effects have a variation of a filter which may change effect to effect.
- X and Y control various rates, feedback and time over the different effects (note that some of the images shows a prototype which says "rate" under two of the pots. The faceplate has been changed to X and Y).
- Clock control adjusts the rate which controls the DSP which can drastically change the effect. In doing so it does slightly lower the quality of the output signal but the results are fantastic. This clock is not for synchronization.
- Mix, X, Y and Sift all have CV control inputs.
- Each control level or CV input is visualized on the control panel.

Ins and outs

- Stereo inputs with separate level/gain control for right and left channels. These levels can also act as mute as it can take the signal to 0. They can also add gain to a quiet signal.
- Peak level indicator for clipping levels at the input
- Mono input is made stereo within the DSP and outputs to both left and right channels
- Stereo outputs for right and left channels

Effects

The effect is selected by the hexagonal touch pad. The effects for Alter 1 are as follows:
1 - long delay
2 - tight, notated granular delay
3 - plate reverb
4 - shimmering reverb
5 - distortion multi-filter

Harmonic tube fuzz effects pedal
Notes: Unearth the Walrus Audio Silt Harmonic Fuzz, a collaborative creation with tube expert Jim Hagerman.

Wielding an internal pre-amp tube, the Silt is a two-in-one fuzz that creates massively rich fuzz tones perfect for chords and rhythmic parts or with the press of a switch, adds uniquely harmonic overtones to the signal before hitting the tube. Crafted specifically for those seeking a harmonically rich fuzz experience, the Silt boasts an analogue circuit with the distinctive warmth of a 12AU7 tube as its drive section, letting you explore a unique and wild sonic landscape.

Main Features:

1. 12AU7 Tube Drive

The Silt's 12AU7 tube section drives the warm, bone-rattling fuzz. We unearthed this sonic fossil to encase your sound in an amber warmth, while still providing the grit, growl, and harmonically complex textures that only a tube-driven fuzz can provide.

2. Harmonic Mode

Harmonic Mode acts as a frequency doubler before the drive section of the pedal. This produces crispy, octave-like sounds, lending a unique edge to your lead tones. Try this with your guitar tone knob rolled off.

3. Contour Control for Precision Tone Sculpting

Refine your fuzz tones with the precision of the Contour control to achieve a wide spectrum of timbres.

Toggle between highpass, flat, and lowpass curves in the pre-tube EQ stage, like uncovering layers of sonic strata. Especially helpful when switching between different styles of pickups. Whether you're chasing searing leads or wooley rhythm, the Silt adapts to your style with roaring precision.

4. Designed for Operation at 9v-12v for Plenty of Gain

Supercharge your fuzz experience by operating the Silt anywhere between 9v and 12v. Running the pedal at 12v will give you an extra gain boost, letting you push the primal boundaries of fuzz to deliver the searing tones you've been searching for.

5. True Bypass Circuit

Maintain the integrity of your original tone with the relay bypass circuit. When disengaged, the Silt ensures your signal remains pure, allowing your guitar's natural voice to shine through undisturbed.

Controls:

Volume: Control the output volume level of the pedal.
Tone: Sculpt your output tone with a lowpass/highpass tilt tone control.
Gain: Control the input gain into the fuzz circuit, from subtle, distortion-like crunch to full-throttle fuzz.
Contour: Toggle between highpass, flat, and lowpass curves in the pre-tube EQ stage.
Bypass Switch: Enable or disable the effect with the relay bypass switch, preserving your original signal when the Silt is not in use.
Harmonic Switch: Activate or deactivate the frequency doubler circuit before the clipping stages, infusing your sounds with octave-like textures for a unique sonic edge.

dsp.coffee Kali Stereo Time Domain Effects Processor & Dual Clock Module (clock generator/delay/digital/dual/stereo/effect/LFO/MIDI synth module)
Cat: 938406 Rel: 26 Apr 23 • View all Synth modules

A stereo time domain effects processor & dual clock module in 24HP.
Notes: The core idea for KALI is that complex and musical sonic patterns/beats can be created naturally by combining a modulated audio source with a time-domain (i.e. a delay) effect, especially if the modulation is synchronized to the effect.

Kali has two major sections to facilitate this.
* 32-bit (Float) 48000khz Stereo Time Domain FX Processor
* 6 x Bipolar 12-bit CV Outs (Approx -7v to 7v*) + 2 x Clocks

The L and R delay times are the main timebase to which everything else is synchronized; the rates of everything else can be adjusted in multiples of this time, both independently and (with the lfo rate knob) all at once.

** Not factory calibrated, digital fine tuning available.

Specs

Kali is built around an Electrosmith Daisy Patch Submodule, an embedded development platform (STM32 H7 @ 480mhz) with a high fidelity PCM3060 codec.

Audio input/output is 48000khz @ 24-bit, internally 32-bit (floating point). Input gain (on PCM3060 itself) can be adjusted from -100db to +20db.

Because of the generous SDRAM on the Daisy Patch Submodule, these delay lines have a maximum time of roughly 150 seconds per channel (we cap it at 10 seconds in most modes as that has proven to be a good generally useful range, but this maximum can be changed).

CV outputs are all 12-bit, and lowpassed to mitigate aliasing. Output range is -7v to 7v, most LFO modes can be toggled between bipolar and unipolar output. Currently their sample rate is once per block of audio, or 500hz.

Synchronization
Sync in by pulse/trigger or TRS MIDI In (A or B, thx to lpzwmodules).
Pulse sync out x2

FX Modes
* Synchronized basic/ping-pong delay.
* Chorus.
* Numerous granular delays / dumb harmonizers.
* Distortion (Waveshaping, Diode, Wavefolding, Saturation, Modulo) -> Delay.
* Basic delay w/ external feedback loop (Mono: L in -> L out -> Ext Loop -> R in -> R out).
* "Freeze" button - loops slices of the delay buffer.
* Master reverb (ReverbSc from daisysp)

LFO Modes
Modulators synchronized to multiples of main delay time.
* Basic LFO: Sine, Tri, Saw, Ramp, Pulse & Polyblep Tri, Saw, Pulse.
* Sample & Hold
* Track & Hold
* Random Reset (Basic LFO Shapes)

Xaoc Moskwa II 1965 Rotosequencer II Module (B-STOCK)
Xaoc Moskwa II 1965 Rotosequencer II Module (B-STOCK) (eurorack clock generator/quantizer/random/sequencer module)

B-STOCK: Box opened, but product is in excellent condition and in perfect working order
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Box opened, but product is in excellent condition and in perfect working order***

Updated version of Xaoc's Moskwa sequencer module includes customisable gate/trigger sections, independent randomisation sections, built-in quantiser, slew limiter and preset storage.

Supplier's Notes:
XAOC Devices Moskwa II - compact feature-packed sequencer with preset memory and trigger patterns.

Designed with live performance in mind, Moskwa II takes inspiration from vintage analog sequencers and greatly expands on their functionality surpassing our original Moskwa rotosequencer, while retaining the same size, basic panel structure, and operation principles.

At the core of the module is an 8-step CV sequencer and a parallel 8-step gate/trigger sequencer. But there's more, much more. Besides these basic functions, Moskwa II offers more unique, advanced features like eight independent programmable gate/trigger pattern generators (one for each step of the sequence). You can treat them like sequencers within the sequencer offering another eight microsteps for each main sequence step. This allows for programming complex gate/trigger rhythmic patterns (e.g. step repeat, additional pauses, microshifting or swing effect).

Moskwa II features two independent randomization sections that give the user advanced control over the optional chaotic/random change of various sequence parameters (e.g. step order, slew and trigger probability and more). A programmable custom trigger sequence can be up to 256 steps long! Topping it all off, Moskwa II can store eight presets to be loaded at any time. All these functions allow Moskwa II to generate sequences much longer and much more complex than those produced by traditional 8-step sequencers.

Compared to the first Moskwa, Xaoc have also added a transport button for manual starting/stopping of the sequence, range control for CV output, and a flexible quantizer. Two Moskwa II units can be joined for chained operation doubling the number of available steps and preset slots. Ostankino II expander adds CV inputs for many Moskwa II functions, as well as a transpose input, clock out and individual gate/bit outputs for each step.

Specifications:

- 20hp, skiff friendly
- current draw: +40mA at +12V, 0mA at -12V

Metallic sounds and cymbals drum module - 8HP.
Notes: Crucible is a drum module that specializes in metallic sounds and cymbals and tries to recreate them as realistically as possible.

By using classic digital synthesis blocks such as delay and digital filters, Crucible can synthesise sounds in real time that resemble thinly struck pieces of metal.

Size, Pitch, Tone and Deform give the user the parameters to shape their cymbal as they wish. The Excite control allows the user to change their attack, completely altering Crucible's response. Finally, you can choose where the exciter touches the engine by triggering the EDGE and MID inputs, or trigger both to strike the "bell".

All of this adds up to a lively and dynamic module that completely mimics the feel of playing a real cymbal.

Features:

Realistic sound!
Position-dependent trigger input. Strike the rim, the centre or the bell of the cymbal.
3 model types: Cymbal, Cracked Cymbal and Curved Plate
Audio input for experimental effects

Unique soundscapes ranging from smooth ambience to bizarre reverberance to chaotic glitchy swarms.
Notes: Delay and granular sampling combine to create unique ambience effects, creative reverbs and glitchy chaos. Hugely versatile pedal with five contrasting programs.

Supplier's Notes:
In the high woodlands of the north, undiscovered by most inhabitants, there ruled a clan of old, mystic Treefolk. On the first new moon of spring, these Treefolk could be heard grafting limbs to grow their young - splicing bits of branches from each generation to produce the next line of Treefolk. These new beings keep the lifeblood of all who came before in their new skin. These sounds are in part very old, but in part very new. They are referred to as... Fable.

Let your storybook adventure grows with the Fable Granular Soundscape Generator. The Fable gives you five all-new programs centered around sample and chop delay algorithms to create bizarrely beautiful networks of sampled and resampled sounds. The Fable uses a powerful dual DSP architecture to combine delay programs in series with granular sampling algorithms, each with its own analogue feedback path. Find unique soundscapes ranging from smooth, flowing ambience; to bizarre, organic reverberance; to chaotic, glitchy swarms.

So, what exactly is this granular effect and why is it a magical experience when combined with delay? Granular is a digital processing technique of micro-sampling, wherein short samples called grains are read from a delay buffer. In the Fable, players can adjust these grains by manipulating their sampling length, position, and buffer size from which they're read. They can be played at double or half speed for pitch shift and time stretching effects, play them in reverse, read from multiple positions, and more, in order to achieve different effects.

It's a powerful but complex technique and Walrus Audio created five streamlined programs in the Fable that explore different aspects of its sonic range.

Programs

I. Reverse Delay into Reverse Granular

Program 1 runs a reverse delay into a reverse granular algorithm, in which sampled grains are played backwards. Reversal and re-reversal build up in the feedback paths, creating a complex and organically shifting soundscape. Turn grain size down for long, smooth reversed transients, and grain size up for stuttering reverse glitch madness.

II. Forward Delay into Octave Up Granular

Program 2 runs a forward delay into an octave-up granular program, in which sampled grains are played at double speed. Swarms of double-speed grains build up in the feedback path for bright and airy cascades of sound.

III. Analogue Delay into Octave Down Granular

Program 3 runs a warm, dark analogue-style delay into an octave-down granular program, in which sampled grains are played back at half speed. Slowed down repeats combine with analogue-style processing to create deep, thunderous footfalls and thick, murky ambience.

IV. Multi-Tap Granular into Multi-Tap Granular (Grain-Verb)

Program 4 runs two multi-tap granular algorithms in series, in which multiple samples are played back from each granular buffer simultaneously. Multiple points of sampled sound build upon each other in the feedback paths to create glitchy clouds and unique organic reverberance. Time in this program controls time-stretching of both granular algorithms, changing both the length and tonal character of the granular effect.

V. Forward Delay into Randomized Pitch Granular

Program 5 runs a forward delay into a randomized pitch granular program, in which each grain is played back at a randomly selected speed and direction, varying between pitched up double speed, pitched down half speed, normal speed, plus forward and reversed playback from grain to grain. Pitch changes with each new grain, so play with the X knob in this program to control the rate of randomized pitch modulation.

Stereo flanging effects pedal
Notes: Pyramids is a Stereo Flanging Device with five presets, eight flanger modes, tap tempo, tap subdivision, a multifunction Modify control, positive and negative Feedback, and a variable Mix control, which is something you don't see on a flanger every day.

Built upon the same proprietary DSP architecture as the Avalanche Run™, Pyramids delivers convincing jet-engine roar, authentic through-zero tape-style warble, infinite barber pole sweeps, flexible I/O routing, and the ability to re-trigger the LFO cycle via footswitch opens up a fourth dimension of rhythmic possibilities that's sure to tickle your third ear.

Controls:
1. Manual: Controls the delay time of the modulated signal. Manual can also be controlled via expression pedal.

2. Rate: Controls the speed of the LFO as well as the rise time in Trigger Up mode and fall time in Trigger Down mode. The Rate control has three ranges of operation: Slow, Normal and Fast. These modes are selected by the Rate & Tap toggle switch.

3. Width: Controls the frequency range of the LFO sweep. You might also think of it as a depth control for the LFO.

4. Mix: This is the volume control for the modulated signal. The modulated signal gets louder when you turn it clockwise and quieter when you turn it counterclockwise.

5. Activate Footswitch: The activate switch features our Flexi-Switch technology! This relay-based true-bypass switch allows for momentary or latching operation.

6. Feedback: Regeneration control for the modulated signal.

7. Rate & Tap Toggle Switch: Normal (center position) is 1:1. The tempo you tap in is the tempo Pyramids will spit out. When set to Slow (left position), the tempo you tap is divided for a slower sweep. When set to Fast (right position), the tempo you tap is multiplied and delivers a faster sweep.

8. Modify: The behavior of this control depends upon which mode you're using:

Classic: Tone control for the modulated signal. Clockwise cuts the low end and allows the high frequencies to pass through. Counterclockwise cuts the high end and allows bass frequencies to pass through.

Through-Zero: Delay time for the unmodulated dry signal. This controls where in the LFO cycle the through-zero point occurs, which is where you'll hear the most drastic cancellation.

Barber Pole Up: Tone control for the modulated signal. Clockwise from center is a high pass filter. Counterclockwise from center is a low pass filter.

Barber Pole Down: Tone control for the modulated signal. Clockwise from center is a high pass filter. Counterclockwise from center is a low pass filter.

Trigger Up: Sensitivity control for the sweep. This controls how quickly the re-triggering reacts to your pick attack.

Trigger Down: Sensitivity control for the sweep. This controls how quickly the re-triggering reacts to your pick attack.

Step: Adjusts the glide between steps. Low Modify settings produce sharp, stair-stepped transitions between steps. Higher Modify settings introduce a smoother glissando effect.

Random: Adjusts the glide between steps. Low Modify settings produce sharp, stair-stepped transitions between steps. Higher Modify settings introduce a smoother glissando effect.

9. Tap / Trigger Footswitch: In Classic, Through-Zero, Barber Pole Up, Barber Pole Down, Step, and Random modes, this footswitch is a tap tempo control. In Trigger Up and Trigger Down modes, this footswitch triggers the effect whenever it is pressed.

10. Presets Rotary Switch: Selects between Live mode and one of five presets. Pyramids comes with our favorites programmed in, but you're allowed to re-write them if you want. We don't mind.

11. Mode Rotary Switch: Selects between Pyramids' eight flanger modes

Tech Specs:
Flexi-Switchr Technology
This device features Flexi-Switchr Technology! This relay-based, true bypass switching style allows you to simultaneously use momentary and latching style switching.

For standard latching operation, tap the footswitch once to activate the effect and then tap again to bypass.

For momentary operation, hold the footswitch down for as long as you'd like to use the effect. Once you release the switch the effect will be bypassed.

Since the switching is relay based, it requires power to pass signal.

For best results, please use the included 9v center-negative 1-amp DC power supply.

To use with multiple output transformer-balanced isolated pedal-specific power supplies, Pyramids' may be powered from two outlets combined using a current-doubling cable. DO NOT USE A VOLTAGE-DOUBLING CABLE BECAUSE THAT WILL SEND 18V TO PYRAMIDS AND FRY IT LIKE AN OVEREASY EGG AT A GREAZY SPOON DINER.

Frequency Central Product Synthesiser Voice Module
Cat: 717551 Rel: 06 Feb 19 • View all Synth modules

All-in-one Eurorack synth voice
Notes: Product is a full featured modular synthesiser which you can use without patching. Or you can use it as the heart of your modular system. Each component part is fully modular, but also features pre-patched normalised signal paths for fast set up of new and exciting sounds.

Product is a combination of three individual Frequency Central modules:

- XVCO TWO
- Raging Bull 3.0 VCF/VCA
- System X Envelope

Plus:

- Onboard LFO for PWM and FM
- Onboard noise source

Product features a motherboard on which all pots, switches and sockets are mounted, this is also where the pre-patched normalising happens. So the onboard LFO is available for both FM and PWM of the VCO. The three VCO waveforms are available at the three VCF signal inputs. 1V/oct input, LFO and ADSR are available at the three VCF signal inputs. By some cunning switching, the VCA can be operated by either ADSR or gate input, alternatively it can be set to drone position. Also available are signal outputs from the LFO and noise generator. All pre-patched connections can be broken simply by inserting a jack into the relevant socket.

To simplify the build process for DIYers, there are three daughterboards that plug into the Product motherboard: VCO daughterboard, VCF/VCA daughterboard, and ADSR/noise daughterboard. First you can build and calibrate the VCO daughterboard, plug it into the Product motherboard, get it running and have some fun with it. Then build the VCF/VCA daughterboard, and add it to you expanding modular synthesiser. Finally build the ADSR/noise daughterboard, and your synth is complete.

LEP Arpopone Analogue Melody & Bass Line Generator Desktop Synthesiser (aluminium box version)
Cat: 730432 Rel: 11 Jun 19 • View all Synthesisers

Bass line generator with a rhythmic chord section
Notes: The Arpopone from LepLoop is a little synth-voice for generating a melody or bass line and a chord section at the same time. It is based on analog ramp dividers of which each one generates a voltage ramp starting from a master clock that can be internal or external.

Trig1 and Trig2 potentiometers set the number of clock pulses.

With the Trig Mix switch it is possible to select between a single trigger (1 or 2) or both (1+2) to advance the scales.

The Scale Step potentiometer sets the number of steps for the two scale generators.
In the mixer section, the two scales are summed together to obtain a more complex pattern. The amount of each scale can be set by two controls and can be positive (ascending scale) or negative (descending scale).

With the VCO Pitch knob, the melody can be transposed while maintaining the same interval between notes.

The note generated by the VCO is fed to a chain of dividers to obtain four sub harmonics of the original note. One of these is the bass section with its own filter and envelope, the other three form the chord section with their envelope.

The two envelope sections are identical, both have a selector for different trigger sources:

Trig1 & Trig2: the envelope starts at the flash of the green LED (bass) or yellow LED (chord)
SB1 & SB2: the envelope starts at the first step of Scale1 (bass) or Scale2 (chord)
White & Blue: the envelope follows the intensity of the white LED (bass) or the blue LED (chord). Except for this setting the envelope length is set by the two controls Bass ENV and Chord ENV. Additionally, an EXT CV input allows to provide an external envelope.
The bass channel is passed through a resonant low-pass filter with Cutoff and Resonance control.

Finally the Bass and Chord channels are mixed together. The output level is set by the Bass LEV and Chord LEV controls.

AJH Synth Dual RVG Random Voltage Event Generator Limited Edition Module (silver)
Cat: 852983 Rel: 05 Apr 22 • View all Synth modules

The Random Voltage Event Generator (RVG) is a faithful replica of the vintage EMS Random Voltage Generator.
Notes: The Random Voltage Event Generator (RVG) is a faithful replica of the vintage EMS Random Voltage Generator. It produces random voltages which vary smoothly or in a step-wise manner. Random timing pulses are also available. The rate of change of all outputs is voltage controllable over a wide range.

Just like the original RVG it uses four unijunction transistors - three of them are configured as ramp and hold generators and the fourth is an LFO. It produces two separate random voltages but also the clock time between pulses can be randomised.

The module offers some extra features: it is possible to add a bias voltage to either of the random voltage outputs, and also add slew to Voltage 1. There is a CV control of the LFO frequency and clock speed as well as CV control of the Time variance.

The internal LFO can be tapped thanks to dedicated outputs for both sawtooth and triangle waveforms, and the waveform shape follows the time variance. The internal clock can be started using an external gate or with the help of the manual trigger button that works when the clock is stopped.

The TR-IN input allows an external clock to be used instead of the internal LFO. There is also a gate output, the gate length changes in proportion with the time variance, and the duty cycle of the gate can be varied from 1% to 99%.

WMDevices Fracture Multi-Particle Crowd Percussion Synthesiser Module (black)
Cat: 747621 Rel: 20 Sep 19 • View all Synth modules

8HP drum/percussion synth module
Notes: Originally inspired by audience applause, hip-hop samples, and classic drum machines, Fracture is a multi-particle percussion synthesizer that applies concepts from classic analogue clap circuits to granular synthesis methods.

It all starts from proprietary micro-samples we recorded specifically for this purpose and ends with an engine built to suit these samples.
Unlike our other percussion module, the Chimera which uses impulse rich samples as it's tonal centre, Fracture uses single impulse samples like Claps, Snaps, Ping Pong Balls, Opening a beer can, and many more. It then plays a group of similar samples back in a psuedo random order for unique hits. Density, Decay, and Tail affect tone and how "tight" your virtual clappers are to playing together.

Our goal was to design a clap percussion module covering the range from classic drum machine claps all the way to full audience applause. We ended up with a module that covers a huge range of timbres beyond claps. We hope this engine provides you with the tools to intuitively create wild percussion sounds that bring your system to life in a new way.

Pigtronix Echolution 2 Deluxe Programmable Multi Tap Modulation Delay Pedal + Echolution 2 Remote Switch (SPECIAL LOW PRICE BUNDLE)
Cat: 569694 Rel: 01 Apr 15 • View all Effects pedals

Multi tap modulation delay effects pedal with 10ms - 12sec delay time and USB connectivity - bundled with Echolution 2 remote switch
Notes: Pigtronix Echolution 2 represents a unique marriage of analog tone shaping and DSP processing designed to deliver the ultimate delay pedal experience. Echolution 2 achieves the ambient richness of the finest tape echo units by using 100% analog Class-A, discrete transistor limiters as well as non-linear tape emulator stages and filters to massage the audio coming through the delay line. Fully capable of handling instrument and line level sound sources, the Echolution 2 delivers low-noise, high-headroom delay processing with any amp, mixer or DAW rig.

Echolution 2 uses a 24-bit, variable clock, multi-tap delay line where both the read and write heads are simultaneously modulated by a multi-waveform LFO. Changing the delay time results in the smooth pitch bending of an analog delay system but with a Pigtronix twist that allows drastic delay time changes to create musically related octave intervals. The resulting echoes are then processed through an array of filters and special effects, which can be manipulated via assignable expression pedal routing as well as envelope control for each knob. Every feature and algorithm on the E2 can be run simultaneously, in any combination, and all functions of the Echolution 2 are MIDI controllable.

Accessing and navigating the vast palette of sounds available within the Echolution 2 is easy. Since the pedal is completely programmable, any sound that has been designed using the Echolution 2 or Echolution 2 Deluxe pedal can be saved to the unit itself and exported for sharing with friends and other musicians. A dedicated PC/MAC application handles preset management as well as firmware upgrades and also provides Echolution 2 users with real time access to the sounds and advanced editing functionality of the Echolution 2 Deluxe.

It features a full stereo signal path with two adjustable audio inputs, two outputs, and a stereo voltage-controlled wet/dry mixer. In addition, there is a microSD memory card slot on the front panel that allows for loading factory and custom effects without any restrictions or copyright protection, which means you can use many effects available on the Internet and even create your own.

Effect programs are organized in banks of 8 and can be selected using a rotary encoder, as well as CV and trigger signals. Timiszoara features a crisp OLED screen that displays the program parameters and its name. It also facilitates navigating the list of banks. Up to three parameters per effect can be controlled from the front panel with illuminated slider potentiometers and dedicated CV inputs.

Xaoc Devices have prepared quite a few banks of algorithms (176 in total) that cover most effects needs: delays, reverbs, filters, modulation effects (such as choruses and flangers), pitch shifters, and, of course, shimmers (no multi-effects unit would be complete without its share of those). However, Xaoc Devices wanted to ensure that users had access to some more adventurous programs, so some special banks have been created to allow you to take a walk on the wild side.

A clever combo of kick drum synthesis, sidechain compression and digital reverb, Kickain allows you to generate rhythm tracks and work on your stereo mix simultaneously. Clever approach to mixdowns in Eurorack.

Supplier's Notes:
Introducing Kickain. The perfect pairing of a 909 inspired kick drum and side chain compressor. Designed to work in tandem as a single easy to control module, Kickain will revolutionise your side chain workflow, making it a breeze to tame the very heartbeat of your music, intelligently managing low frequency artefacts and removing any clashing frequencies or overlapping transients. The end result will leave you speechless, producing a cleaner, tighter mastering standard mix featuring the most powerful kick drum on the planet.

Spectral Compression

As well as the regular side chain effect of ducking the volume around the kick drum, Kickain also features two spectral compressor modes that intelligently eq the incoming mix to fit around the triggered drum sound, adjusting it continuously 1000s of times a second. The effect has to be heard to be believed, optimising the loudness of your kick without any intrusive 'pumping' on the overall mix. Tracks sound tighter and richer in the bottom end, whilst the kick is always punching through.

Tune to the Room

As with all Knobula products our focus is on performance, so we've given you the essential controls you need to design a kick that fits your tune, your room or your sound system without diving into menus or clicking encoders. The controls allow you to quickly create kicks for a whole host of genres and tempos as well as protect your ears and speakers. And if that's not enough there is a Send/Return option for further processing.

Reverb

Featuring 24bit stereo digital reverb, linked to the decay envelope, you can add subtle room effects or big 10 second bass drops at the twist of a single knob.

B-STOCK: Box damaged, product in perfect working order
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Box damaged, product in perfect working order***

The Sloer Stereo Ambient Reverb builds on our popular Slo lineup but adds two additional reverb algorithms, stereo width control, two additional modulation wave shapes, and the ability to control the sample rate. Now you can create immersive, lush, modulated, sleepy, and ambient soundscapes with more width and depth than ever before.

Save your favourite dreamscapes with three onboard presets by simultaneously pressing and holding down on the bypass and sustain switches. Scroll through them by simultaneously pressing and releasing bypass and sustain.

The five-way rotary dial allows five different reverb modes - the three you know and love from the Slo: Dark (Lower Octave), Rise (Ambient Swell), and Dream (Latching Pad); and the addition of two new modes: Rain (Delay Tap Diffusion) and Light (High Octave Shimmer). Secondary functions on the dial change between five different wave shapes for modulation on the reverb trail.

Combine deep modulation, long washy trails, and an immersive stereo field to experience Sloer.

5 reverb modes:

DARK - Add a lower octave to your reverb trail. Here you'll create deep and wide atmospheric sounds and channel nightmarish soundscapes. X knob sets the level of a -1 octave signal that feeds the reverb.

RISE - This is an auto-swell reverb for beautiful cinematic swells. Don't rush it. Let it breathe and gently wake up. X knob sets the amount of time it takes the reverb to swell in after a note is played. Set lower for shorter rise times and higher for longer rise times.

DREAM - Lush reverb with a latching pad function. Press the sustain switch to latch signal. Experiment with the X knob to add vibrato over the pad. Press sustain again and the pad will decrescendo according to where the decay knob is set. X knob sets the depth of vibrato applied to the reverb trail.

RAIN - Tappy and trippy, this program creates a unique effect with lower levels of diffusion allowing the reverb delay taps to audible create an echo-like effect within your reverb. Use the Xcontrol to set the amount of diffusion of the delay taps.

LIGHT - Bright and smooth reverb with an octave-up shimmer. Create a range of ethereal sounds with the X slider, keep it low for a smooth pad-like reverb or push it higher for a bright shimmer effect.

5 wave shapes

The Sloer also features five different wave shapes accessible by holding down bypass while switching the algorithm dial.

Sine - Smooth and even pitch up and down modulation.
Warp - Asymmetric pitch up modulation similar to a warped record.
Sink - Asymmetric pitch down modulation for sinking detune similar to a Bigsby.
Square - Symmetric pitch up and down modulation for stepped modulation.
Random - Uses sample and hold that picks new random values.

Momentary functions

Bypass: When the switch is in the off position, press and hold to temporarily activate the effect to add a moment of reverb texture. Releasing the switch turns the effect off, and fades it out.

Sustain: When pressed, the decay switch ramps up the reverb trail to maximum creating a long dreamy reverb trail, and then ramps back down to the decay knob setting when released. In the "Dream" algorithm, the sustain switch is latching. Press it once to capture and sustain the current reverb decay for extremely long pad-like sounds. Press it again to let the reverb trail taper off, based on the position of the decay knob.

Trails mode

The Sloer can run in trails or no trails mode. In trails mode, when you turn the pedal off, the reverb decay dies off naturally. In no trails mode, the decay is abruptly cut off when you turn the pedal off. To toggle between either mode, hold down the bypass switch for 1 second while applying power to the pedal. Unplug power and repeat to toggle to the other mode.

Preset spillover

When scrolling through presets, there is only preset spillover if the next preset is the same algorithm as the one preceding it. For example, if your red and green presets are both in Dream mode, switching from red to green will not cut your reverb trails.

Specs

The Sloer comes in a Lollipop Blue finish with light blue and off white ink featuring original artwork by Christi Du Toit OR a matte black finish with cream ink.
The die-cast enclosure's exact size is 4.79" x 3.62" x 2.25" including knobs.
Power requirements are 9VDC (100mA minimum).
The use of an isolated power supply is recommended for powering all Walrus Audio Pedals. Daisy chain power supplies are not recommended.

B-STOCK: Box opened, but product is in excellent condition and in perfect working order
Notes: ***BB-STOCK: Box opened, but product is in excellent condition and in perfect working order***

Designed specifically for dance music, the Mandrake is Malstrom's solution to all your kick drum needs. Versatile, expressive and punchy as hell, this analogue module delivers pure dance floor power.

Supplier's Notes:
A kick drum lays down the foundation of your track, the root of your beat. You need the low end to create a pumping motion and the high end to cut through the mix. All this while maintaining spectral room for other sounds. So it can be quite an undertaking to get right.

Which is why Malstrom have developed Mandrake. A kick drum synthesizer that targets kick drum sounds for Dance, House and Techno music. Inspired by physical models, DAW drum synthesis and sound mixing techniques. It divides the sound into a "Hit" and "Body", with sound shaping possibilities for both sections.

Mandrake's "Hit" is a resonating filter which is saturated to have a square-like shape. It generates a short pulse that can be tuned and attenuated. Which results in a short click that will cut through the mix when and where you need it.

Mandrake's "Body" is made up from another resonating filter. Its wave is slightly saturated and filtered to resemble the harmonics of a drum. More saturation can be added in the form of uneven harmonics to create harsher tones. The result is then sent to a damping circuit that is used to tame the sound. Finally the body can resonate which leads to more liquid sounding drums, or specific frequency boosts. All of the body's parameters are connected which makes it super fun and playable!

A few more functions allow Mandrake to be adaptable to different situations. Two shapes with different harmonic content and volume decay shape. An envelope output to provide a normal or ducking envelope to further sculpt your sound, or to side chain other sounds. An accent or volume CV input to provide two volume control options. And a clean-up switch which adds a high-pass at 25Hz to remove the rumble, a spectral dip at 300Hz to make the kick sound less "boxy".

Mandrake is not another 808 or 909 clone; its analogue circuitry is entirely built from scratch to create an original sound. Also nothing more than a great kick; ranges to get into detail, and useful kick drum sounds throughout its settings!

Another clever one from Knobula, this chord-based sequencer/arpeggiator adds versatile harmonic options to your creative process. Pair it with the Poly Cinematic module for best results.

Supplier's Notes:
Generate extraordinary chords without using a keyboard.

Chord Pilot introduces a whole new take on the task of chord creation and performance offering 192 chord memories, a strummer, an arpeggiator and an 8 step chord progression sequencer, all in one compact 12hp package.

Knobula have thrown away the music theory rule book and instead offer a module that encourages the curious mind to discover alternative musical pathways, whether for generative patches or for EDM riffs.

To generate a new chord, Chord Pilot uses a series of controls that alter the width and spread of 'fingers' over a virtual keyboard before conforming them into a variety of musical moods from the pure and harmonious to the terrifying and cacaphonic.

Like all Knobula products, Chord Pilot has been designed primarily with performance in mind, to inpsire by experimentation, to lose yourself in the moment, and to occassionaly generate impossibly hard to play super chords.

With the ability to store and transfer chords in sets of eight, Chord Pilot makes a great companion module for Poly Cinematic, but it is equally at home serving any poly synth with a midi input.

Discover Chord Pilot, your guide, navigator and explorer to a whole new universe of musical harmony, and beyond.

Joranalogue Step 8 Sequential Tracking/Sampling Register Module Joranalogue Step 8 Sequential Tracking/Sampling Register Module
Joranalogue Step 8 Sequential Tracking/Sampling Register Module (sample & hold/sequencer/switch synth module)
Cat: 846726 Rel: 08 Dec 22 • View all Synth modules

Sequential Tracking/Sampling Register.
Notes: Clever sequential signal processing from Joranalogue, capable of a range of functions including toggling signal muter/attenuator, clock divider, rotating shift register or programmable voltage bank.
