Empress Effects Para EQ MkII Equalizer Effects Pedal
Cat: 910089 Rel: 07 Dec 22

Empress Effects have brought back the most sought-after Parametric EQ pedal, with groundbreaking upgrades.
Notes: The #1 EQ pedal returns - better than ever

Empress Effects have brought back the most sought-after Parametric EQ pedal, with groundbreaking upgrades.

Everything people loved about the original ParaEq was kept, and more fidelity and control have been added.

More Control

Whether you're trying to cut through a mix or fix a feedback issue, you need precision! The ParaEq MKII offers the most control of any pedal EQ on the market.

More Sweetness

Effortlessly sweeten your tone with beautiful sounding, super smooth Baxandall filters for broad high and low frequency shelving adjustments on the Deluxe.

More Power

The ParaEq MKII pedals operates internally at 27V, providing clean headroom without unwanted clipping.

More Purity

This pedal is able to offer the most control without degradation to the tone due to minimal circuit topology00-the opposite of graphic EQs.

Why Choose Parametric EQ over Graphic EQ?
Parametric VS Graphic EQ Graph
Graphic equalizers provide a convenient visual sense of the EQ curve. However, there is a tradeoff in transparency and precision.

The graph here shows the ParaEq MKII Deluxe (cyan) and a 7-band graphic EQ pedal (magenta) both providing a +4dB boost at around 2 kHz. As can be seen, the ParaEq is much more precise in the changes it can make, whereas the graphic EQ affects nearly the entire frequency spectrum. Furthermore, at around 10kHz the ParaEq is providing unity gain, whereas the graphic EQ is attenuating the signal by nearly 6dB. This makes the ParaEq a more transparent circuit than the graphic EQ.

This combination of transparency and precision is why recording studio control rooms are dominated by parametric equalizers, and why they're a great choice for creative and corrective EQ on your pedalboard.

Which ParaEq Do You Need?

The original ParaEq has been loved and trusted by musicians on a variety of instruments for over a decade. Both the ParaEq MKII and the ParaEq MKII Deluxe feature a low-noise, transparent signal path that is extremely versatile.

With three fully parametric bands, you can simultaneously achieve broad tonal shaping and precise fine-tuning to sculpt your perfect sound.

The ParaEQ MKII Deluxe will appeal to players who:

Need high-pass and low-pass filters for precision work at the frequency extremes
Want the glorious sound of Bandaxall filters for sparkling high end or extra weight in the low end
Want to be prepared for any EQ situation

Gloamer is an all-analog, polyphonic amplitude synthesizer that alters the attack and decay time of any sound source without sacrificing the fidelity of the original tone.
Notes: Dusky drama

Gloamer is an all-analogue, polyphonic amplitude synthesizer that alters the attack and decay time of any sound source without sacrificing the fidelity of the original tone. Its attack function provides a pick-triggered volume swell: a cinematic "slow gear" effect that is smooth and controllable with variable timing from extremely fast to very slow. The volume swell cycle can be reset at any moment by muting, allowing players to craft bowed string-like lines and chords with ease. Gloamer also features a powerful optical compressor that can add subtle punch or extreme sustain, helping to maintain a smooth volume swell effect even with very long attack times. A Volume knob controls loudness at the peak of the attack cycle, while a master Blend control allows players to layer an uncompressed clean sound in with the volume swell effect. Additionally, when activated, the Decay function causes notes to fade out once the attack cycle is complete. When the decay cycle is completed, an auto-reset function causes the attack to begin again immediately, as long as there is audio input. This allows you to create a wide range of undulating, asymmetrical tremolos at slower settings as well as pulsating stutter effects when using faster attack and decay times.

Knob-by-knob

Volume: Sets the master output volume of the effect when engaged.
Compression: Determines the balance of clean and compressed signal.
Blend: Determines the balance of clean signal and effect.
Attack: Determines the duration of time it takes for a note to swell in from silent to full volume.
Decay: Determines the duration of time it takes for a note to fade out from full volume to silence.
Sensitivity: Determines how much input signal is needed to reset the attack and decay cycle.
Ready (LED): Signals when the pedal is armed and ready to begin the attack and/or decay cycle.

A hi-fi attack and decay master
Gloamer was designed to allow players to change the nature of their attack and decay while maintaining pristine, hi-fidelity audio. Easily swell blooming single note lines or full, lush chords and become the string section you've always wanted to hire but can't afford.

Keeley Electronics Moon Op Amp Fuzz Effects Pedal Keeley Electronics Moon Op Amp Fuzz Effects Pedal
Cat: 911539 Rel: 02 Dec 22

The Moon Op Amp Fuzz is a supermassive destroyer, spinning galaxies of gain.
Notes: The Moon Op Amp Fuzz is a supermassive destroyer, spinning galaxies of gain. Tidal wave bass response gives you tones heavy as gravity itself.

The filter control offers an expanded range of usable tones and the filter switch gives you three distinct EQ phases: Scooped Mids 'classic', Flat EQ, or Full Range.

Feed the Moon Op Amp Fuzz with your favourite drive pedals and unlock worlds of complex tones.

The Moon's massive sound is achieved with a quad op amp delivering four stages of gain and fuzz. This circuit has its roots in Keeley's popular Dark Side pedal. In that design the tone and gain of the pedal were both tailored to be a vintage sounding fuzz for lead work. Keeley wanted to go 180 degrees in the other direction with this pedal's tone, the purpose being to achieve infinite sounding dreamy deep fuzz.

This is a punishingly heavy op amp fuzz designed to extend your guitar or bass frequencies as low as possible. This also means that your lead tones are as harmonically as rich as possible. So thick is the fuzz that your notes will rise and peak into brilliant feedback.

Keeley's most lunar sounding pedal: Moon Op Amp Fuzz.

Hungry Robot The Aether Modulating Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 912588 Rel: 05 May 23

The Aether is a modulating delay pedal.
Notes: The Aether is a modulating delay pedal.

The initial vision for the design of The Aether came shortly after the release of the Wardenclyffe Deluxe. The intention was to take design the philosophies and incorporate tonal characteristics that made the Wardenclyffe so special, but this time as a delay pedal.

At the heart of The Aether is a PT2399, tap tempo delay. It has the standard Echo, Feedback, and Time controls you would expect on any delay, but what makes it special is the Color, Saturation, and Degrade Controls. The Color toggle completely changes the character of the Aether and has two voices: Warm Analog and Bright Tape. The Saturation knob is a gain adjustment that overdrives the delay chip. The Degrade toggle adds lofi textures and artifacts to the delay line. The Degrade toggle removes a very vital section of the delay circuitry that keeps the delay stable with longer delay times. As you increase the delay time, the artifacts become more present and lofi.

The Aether uses a simple, but versatile modulation LFO core inspired by the Wardenclyffe, but with more features. The LFO cores sets it apart from other modulated delays out there. The speed of the modulation core can be set 3 different ways: Rate knob, tap tempo tact switch, and Sync toggle. When the Sync toggle is set to its middle position, the LFO can run at whatever speed you want. When the Sync toggle is in the up position it is synced to the delay time. When the Sync toggle is in the down position, it is synced to delay time, but in half-time for slower evolving moduation. The Shift knob determines the depth of the modulation; this has plenty of range in case you want to get really obscene. The Stray toggle changes the LFO from a typical Sine wave to a Slewed Random waveform. Creative exploration of the modulation section of The Aether is strongly encouraged. The way the delay rate and LFO rate interact with each other can yield very creative results.

Tsakalis AudioWorks Room #40 Marshall Mojo In A Box Boost Effects Pedal
Cat: 912602 Rel: 02 Dec 22

Marshall Mojo in a Box
Notes: Room #40

Marshall Mojo in a Box

Heavily inspired by the tone and feel of the following legendary Marshall amps: the non master volume series PLEXI Super Lead (1959/1987) & Super Bass (1992) and the master volume series JMP & JCM800 (2203/2204).

Over the years, Tsakalis have had many different types of Marshall amps on their workbench, some for repairs and others for customisation. Being huge fans of the sound of these classic amplifiers, Tsakalis decided to try and capture its mojo - the true essence of the soul of this sound - and carefully place it in a little box. Thus the Room #40 was born!

Using JFET technology, Tsakalis tried to stay loyal to the tone and feel of the following legendary Marshall amps: the non master volume series PLEXI Super Lead (1959/1987) & Super Bass (1992) and the master volume series JMP & JCM800 (2203/2204).

Tsakalis emphasized on emulating the compression and sag coming from the power amp section, when these amps are pushed to the edge, while at the same time giving access to two famous mods, mod #39 (PLEXI) and mod #34 (JMP & JCM800).

Finally, the Presence control was incorporated to make the sound adjustable to any circumstance, regardless of whether you are plugged into the front of an amp that may or may not have a bright cap or even straight to a power amp.

Cat: 912577 Rel: 05 Dec 22

Variable-Clock Reverser
Notes: From the creative brains of Old Blood Noise Endeavors, the BL-44 Reverse is a pedal that contends with the existential construct of "time", as it actively seeks to push you to live your sonic life in reverse.

Through a highly intuitive and fun control set, this compact real-time reverse effect allows the user to instantly change the clock speed of the entire sonic system on the fly, letting you achieve sounds ranging anywhere from classic reverse, vivid harmonies to faded lo-fi memories.

BL-44 is a true reverse effect, meaning it will write what you've played to memory, then read that memory from end to start and play it back for you, but with added depth and harmony from the interaction of the Clock slider and Speed knob. It aims for an immediate and tactile experience that encourages the player to keep their thumb on the slider and experiment.

The magic, the extra twist, the je-ne-sais-wow if you like, all comes from the Clock slider. This slider determines the thinking speed of the digital signal processor and sets everything related to time. It determines the sample rate and the overall length of the reverse playback and as you slide it, you feel the pitch slide and resettle. Just like you'd expect, as you play with the forces of time.

In addition, you have a Speed control, which will cause the system to read through its memory in unexpected ways, catching bits multiple times or missing pieces as it tries to read at speeds different from what was written. Plus, you have volume and mix controls and an on/off switch.

Andy Timmons’ mysterious sounding "Halo" effect is a modulated dual echo sound that has long been kept a secret by the tone wizard himself.
Notes: Bags of character courtesy of 'tone wizard' Andy Timmons (Danger Danger). Dual delay lines work in tandem, creating stereo effects from vintage tape delay to infinite hold.

Supplier's Notes:
Andy Timmons' mysterious sounding "Halo" effect is a modulated dual echo sound that has long been kept a secret by the tone wizard himself. Andy spent decades combining and crafting the sounds you can now get from the HALO. Notes from the HALO dance rhythmically, almost creating a reverb diffusion. Those notes are held together with tape-style effects like modulation, saturation and compression. The results are stunning!

The pedal comes loaded with his signature delay tone and you can program your own sounds and save them as presets. Easily bounce between Side A and B on the fly, essentially giving you two delay pedals in one. In addition to Andy's signature "Halo" sound, there are numerous other rhythmic delays including: quarter note, dotted 8th, stereo rack mount analogue delay, and a vintage multi-head tape echo. Stunning stereo and pristine sound quality are further enhanced with controls for saturation, tone, and shelving filters that give you the ultimate delay pedal.

Think of HALO as two delay pedals that work in tandem, letting you switch between your main delay (side A) and an alternative (side B). With up to 1500 ms of available delay, set sides A and B for different delay times, then simply foot switch between the two. Keeley's Smart Stomp System allows you to press and hold either stomp switch to engage tap tempo mode. Press and hold the alternate stomp switch for infinite repeat/hold.

Each Preset bank gives you 2 delays settings for a total of 8 user-storable effects. Use the Rhythm control to select between different echoes like HALO, Analog, Tape, Quarter and Dotted Eighth. HALO's Saturate control adds tape compression texture to your tone. The Tone and High Pass Filter controls your overall delay shape and mix. The Rhythm Mode selector delivers 5 delay types, including Andy's unique "Halo" sound. Set the Time and Feedback controls low, and you can open up a world of ambient chorus and flanger effects.

Run the HALO in stereo for incredible true-stereo imaging or save your favourite combination of settings as a preset and the HALO becomes an incredibly compact multi-effect workstation!

Space Reflections

ROOMS is a stereo, multi-function digital reverb capable of searing volume, gated walls of sound, and long, trailing reverberant ambiances with an intuitive array of controls designed with live mood-bending in mind.

ROOMS was designed to the highest standards of flexibility and audio fidelity. A studio-quality mixer section provides independent DRY and FX controls over six meticulously programmed reverb algorithms; ROOM, DIGIT, PEAK, GATE, WAVE, and GONG. Each different verb is capable of a universe of sounds, and ROOMS is here to help you explore them.

ROOMS' creative I/O switching and dual-mono dry signal lines allow for a wealth of possible mono and stereo configurations, making it easy to route signals for parallel processing or stereo amplifier setups.

Controls

FREQ: Controls the frequency parameter of the current mode.

DEPTH: Controls the depth parameter of the current mode.

TIME: Controls the reverb time in all modes.

DRY: Controls the volume of the dry signal, from -inf to 20x gain.

FX: Controls the volume of the reverb signal, from -inf to 20x gain.

ALT: Engages the ALT mode, switching between two sets of controls. When active, FREQ is controlled with the F knob, DEPTH with the D knob, and TIME with the T knob. Additionally, the ALT mode turns on expression control of either FREQ or TIME using the F?T Switch on the side of the pedal. NOTE: Expression control ONLY works in ALT mode and when an expression pedal is plugged in.

Expression Pedal: Almost any expression pedal will work with ROOMS. When not plugged in, the controls work as normal. NOTE: Expression control ONLY controls the F or T knobs when ALT mode is engaged and when an expression pedal is plugged in.

Modes & Parameters

FREQ knob : DEPTH knob

1 - ROOM: Tone of Decay : Pre-Delay
A classic reverb that simulates many different rooms.

2 - DIGIT: Delay Time : Delay Feedback
A filter matrix verb capable of creating otherworldly resonances and fractured repeats.

Modulated delay & echo effects pedal
Notes: An 'otherworldly' take on the classic delay pedal from Death By Audio, with the addition of a fuzz circuit allowing you to dial in grit and texture as well as ethereal atmospheres with shimmering feedback.

Supplier notes:
Lush Modulating Echo

A powerful, ethereal, and nuanced delay pedal with otherworldly controls. Push the feedback for vast worlds of colourful sound. Introduce a bit of warble with the modulator for ghastly chorus tones, or a ton of it to absolutely warp the delayed signal. Once your delay is thoroughly contorted, turn up the fuzz and pulverize it into repeating, shattered pieces. This is the preferred echo for recording engineers and touring pros around the world because, simply put, it just sounds that good. From delicate, beautiful sounds to yawning voids of fuzz and feedback, the Echo Dream II is ready to transform anything you throw at it.

Controls

Master: Sets the overall volume.
Fuzz: Sets the amount of gain, from clean to fuzzed-out bliss.
Delay: Sets the volume of the delayed signal.
D Time: Controls the delay time (numbers shown in milliseconds) between 20 ms and 1 second. Long delay times can create flutter, noise, and distortion.
FBack: Controls the feedback of the delays, from slapback to wild runaway oscillation.
Left Toggle: Up for clean blend, down to kill the dry signal and hear only the repeats.
Speed: Controls how fast the modulator runs.
Depth: Sets how far the modulator will swing the delay time. At high intervals, the pitch of the repeats will shift several semitones!
Right Toggle: Up for a smoother modulator waveform, down for a sharp, square-shaped wave.

Psycho high-pass, by-pass and low-pass filter with switchable fuzz.
Notes: For the truly wild

Psycho multimode filter with an ultra-sleek, laser-etched enclosure. Its medical-grade IC chip creates a hyper-precise filter that sounds like no other. With high pass, bandpass, and low pass modes, as well as two types of screaming resonance, the Evil Filter is ready to saw any sound into pieces - or just be the most insane wah you've ever heard. The Evil Filter's two fuzzes take signals into a much more twisted dimension, creating a blooming compression that's perfect for ripping solos and walls of noise alike. Push it past the limit into octaves up, down, and snarling wavefolding sounds. Using the CV/Expression input, you can also control the filter cutoff frequency with an expression pedal or synthesizer.

Controls

Filter Freq: Cutoff frequency of the filter. Numbers shown are in Hz.
Filter Output: Volume of the filter section of the pedal.
Filter Selector: Selects between the different filter types - Low Pass Symbol Low Pass, Band Pass Symbol Band Pass, and High Pass Symbol High Pass.
Filter Resonance: Sets the resonance of the filter in conjunction with the Resonance Switch. WARNING: Will self oscillate at high levels!
Resonance Switch: Sets the range of the Filter Resonance knob between Normal and High.
Fuzz Output: Volume of the fuzz section of the pedal.
Fuzz Type Switch: Choose between two different fuzzes - Low Gain Fuzz Symbol lower for a cleaner, more driving fuzz, High Gain Fuzz Symbol higher for a blasted out, blooming, insane fuzz.
EXP/CV Input: Plug in CV control (~0-3.0v) or an expression pedal for external control of the Filter Freq knob. The Filter Freq knob sets the range for the EXP/CV input.

Death By Audio Deep Animation Envelope Filter Effects Pedal Death By Audio Deep Animation Envelope Filter Effects Pedal Death By Audio Deep Animation Envelope Filter Effects Pedal
Cat: 889026 Rel: 09 Jan 23

Envolope Filter
Notes: Envelope with filter with serious attitude

This mangled, filter-sweeping, abruptly overdriving pedal is designed to respond to your playing. It syncs its wave-thumping movement with the force at which you play. It multiplies dynamics into a hyper-exaggerated frenzy. It adds just the right amount of movement to punch through the mix and it reacts to an external trigger of your choosing to follow your tempo. Six selectable frequency ranges mean you're always gonna have just the right quack and oomph for whatever's plugged in! The sounds are wild, the thump is thick, and the animation is deep.

Controls

Input: Plug an instrument in to this jack.
Trig: Plug another instrument in to this jack and use it to trigger the filter sweep.
Out: Connect this to the amplifier.
Sensitivity: Determines the point at which the filter engages and the frequency range of the filter shift in relation to the input amplitude.
Intensity: Simultaneously blends in the resonance, amount, and grit of the filter.
Vol: Adjusts the output volume of the DEEP ANIMATION.
Frequency Selector: Selects the frequency range of the filter.
Bypass: True bypass the effect.
Up / Down: Controls the polarity of the filter decay once triggered. UP sweeps the frequency from higher frequencies to lower ones and DOWN, the opposite.
Additional Features: There is a subtle light to indicate the external trigger behind the main bypass LED.

Specifications

Dimensions: 5.92" x 4.72" x 2.34" (including hardware).
Weight: 21 oz.
Power: 9V (runs on standard 2.1mm negative center 9V adapter or included 9V battery).

Cat: 888552 Rel: 02 Aug 22

FLOAT Dual Moving Filter: A Re-envisioning of the Filter Effect
Notes: A Re-envisioning of the Filter Effect

Turning its predilection for parallel signals toward the world of filters and widening out to full stereo, Old Blood Noise Endeavors unveils its first digitally-controlled analogue pedal. Float boasts two independently controllable filters and copious capabilities for motion. Utilising the two filters in tandem can create stereo movement, linked reactive elements, and modulations that approach harmonic tremolo and phaser, as well as classic filter sounds.

Old Blood Noise were familiar with some aspects of the filter pedal. But the slow dual motions, the controls that go a little more left than you expect, the parallel undulations and surely other corners were all left unexplored.

So, turning their predilection for parallel signals toward the world of filters and widening out to full stereo, say hi to Float, the new Dual Moving Filter pedal! As OBNE's first digitally-controlled analogue pedal, Float boasts two independently controllable filters and copious capabilities for motion.
Utilising the two filters in tandem can create stereo movement, linked reactive elements and otherworldly psychedelic modulations. The two independent filters can be set to either low pass, band pass or high pass. The core of each filter is its Cutoff Frequency, which can stay still or move via either its 6 different LFO shapes or through its dynamic Envelope triggering.

The envelope sections can unleash quacky auto-wahs, shooting sonic laser beams or organically rising and falling filter landscapes - all triggered by your playing. While the LFOs lets Float become a mind-bending modulation device that can become everything from a phaser, a harmonic tremolo, a choppy or bubbly step-filter or an automated synth-like sweeper. However, skip the Modulation or envelope sections and the dual sliders come into play. This allows you to use Float as a dual-band EQ for subtle to extreme tone shaping, as a manual filter for on-the-fly futuristic filter sweeps or even for old-school wah-tones. Each filter also sports a resonance control, allowing you to unearth velvety smooth filters, vocal-like formants, screaming sonic squelches and anything in between.

All of this is pretty familiar, but also pretty sweet. Like an amalgamation of all things filtery and good. But where things start to get really different and really fun is when you mess with the Sync and Routing of the two filters. By flicking that tiny toggle labelled Sync to On, the two filters will move like tonal twins - locked in, precise and uniform. This lets you create robotic sequencer-like textures, trippy dual modulations or ultra-long, yet perfectly timed, filter manoeuvres. You can also set it to Off and have them completely free-rolling for organically weaving textures or full-on filter cacophonies. In addition, the filters can be run in either parallel mono, series mono or stereo for all kinds of refined dual movements, cascading filter chaos or lush and dreamy stereo sweeps.

To round off this veritable filter playground, we've added an expression in port, that lets you take hands-free control over either the cut-off frequency or LFO Rate, allowing you to keep your fluttery filter modulation as expressive as the music you play.

So, that's Float... or that's the essence of Float. You'll unlock sounds from this thing that you never knew it was capable of, because it does a lot of good, weird, wild, tame, ugly and absolutely stunning stereo stuff. Float on, friends!

An echo and delay processor with 7 different types of simulation to recreate the sound of vintage echo units.
Notes: Tape Echo is an echo and delay processor with 7 different types of simulation to recreate the sound of vintage echo units. In addition to classic tape echo simulation, the NDD-7 has a separate spring reverb effect, sound-on-sound (SOS) for operation as a 40 second looper, and up to 1600ms of delay. For authenticity, the NDD-7 also has Wow & Flutter settings and Saturation adds natural compression and degradation, which can even drive into self-oscillation, like a true tape echo. Two foot switches operate as effect on/off and tap tempo and they double as looper and display controls. Above the foot switches are Time, Repeat, Level and Reverb controls and 2-band EQ governs the tone of repeats. An analogue flanger effects pedal.
Notes: Like the Iguana that's malleable to its environment, blending into its surroundings for harmonious balance or standing out with vibrant confidence, the Polychrome Flanger is a uniquely colourful tool for adding modulated textures to songs.

The Polychrome Flanger is a true bypass, all analogue Flanger pulling in familiar layout controls from the Julia and Lillian.
Dial in a wealth of colourful flange with the D-F-V blend knob and the shape and voice switches.
The Shape Switch lets you select from sine, triangle, or random LFO wave to modulate the delay line

The Voice Switch lets you select between two voices for the flanging effect.
In the down position, the flanger is more traditional and full frequency.
In the up position, you get a more complex and notched flange effect with less low end.

Like the other members of the Walrus Audio modulation family, the Polychrome has a blend knob. The D-F-V (Dry, Flange, Vibrato) knob lets you blend the dry and delayed signal from full dry at minimum (no effect), to traditional flange at noon to full pitch vibrato at maximum. Don't sleep on the vibrato sounds in the Polychrome.
Set the D-F-V knob to maximum, feedback to a minimum, and the voice switch up for some unique pitch vibrato.

Top mounted input, output, and power jacks as well as soft switch relay bypassing make the Polychrome fit well on your board and ensure smooth operation for years to come.

Walrus Audio Fable Granular Soundscape Generator Effects Pedal Walrus Audio Fable Granular Soundscape Generator Effects Pedal Walrus Audio Fable Granular Soundscape Generator Effects Pedal Walrus Audio Fable Granular Soundscape Generator Effects Pedal
Cat: 933053 Rel: 03 Apr 23

Unique soundscapes ranging from smooth ambience to bizarre reverberance to chaotic glitchy swarms.
Notes: Delay and granular sampling combine to create unique ambience effects, creative reverbs and glitchy chaos. Hugely versatile pedal with five contrasting programs.

Supplier's Notes:
In the high woodlands of the north, undiscovered by most inhabitants, there ruled a clan of old, mystic Treefolk. On the first new moon of spring, these Treefolk could be heard grafting limbs to grow their young - splicing bits of branches from each generation to produce the next line of Treefolk. These new beings keep the lifeblood of all who came before in their new skin. These sounds are in part very old, but in part very new. They are referred to as... Fable.

Let your storybook adventure grows with the Fable Granular Soundscape Generator. The Fable gives you five all-new programs centered around sample and chop delay algorithms to create bizarrely beautiful networks of sampled and resampled sounds. The Fable uses a powerful dual DSP architecture to combine delay programs in series with granular sampling algorithms, each with its own analogue feedback path. Find unique soundscapes ranging from smooth, flowing ambience; to bizarre, organic reverberance; to chaotic, glitchy swarms.

So, what exactly is this granular effect and why is it a magical experience when combined with delay? Granular is a digital processing technique of micro-sampling, wherein short samples called grains are read from a delay buffer. In the Fable, players can adjust these grains by manipulating their sampling length, position, and buffer size from which they're read. They can be played at double or half speed for pitch shift and time stretching effects, play them in reverse, read from multiple positions, and more, in order to achieve different effects.

It's a powerful but complex technique and Walrus Audio created five streamlined programs in the Fable that explore different aspects of its sonic range.

Programs

I. Reverse Delay into Reverse Granular

Program 1 runs a reverse delay into a reverse granular algorithm, in which sampled grains are played backwards. Reversal and re-reversal build up in the feedback paths, creating a complex and organically shifting soundscape. Turn grain size down for long, smooth reversed transients, and grain size up for stuttering reverse glitch madness.

II. Forward Delay into Octave Up Granular

Program 2 runs a forward delay into an octave-up granular program, in which sampled grains are played at double speed. Swarms of double-speed grains build up in the feedback path for bright and airy cascades of sound.

III. Analogue Delay into Octave Down Granular

Program 3 runs a warm, dark analogue-style delay into an octave-down granular program, in which sampled grains are played back at half speed. Slowed down repeats combine with analogue-style processing to create deep, thunderous footfalls and thick, murky ambience.

IV. Multi-Tap Granular into Multi-Tap Granular (Grain-Verb)

Program 4 runs two multi-tap granular algorithms in series, in which multiple samples are played back from each granular buffer simultaneously. Multiple points of sampled sound build upon each other in the feedback paths to create glitchy clouds and unique organic reverberance. Time in this program controls time-stretching of both granular algorithms, changing both the length and tonal character of the granular effect.

V. Forward Delay into Randomized Pitch Granular

Program 5 runs a forward delay into a randomized pitch granular program, in which each grain is played back at a randomly selected speed and direction, varying between pitched up double speed, pitched down half speed, normal speed, plus forward and reversed playback from grain to grain. Pitch changes with each new grain, so play with the X knob in this program to control the rate of randomized pitch modulation.

The Germanium Filter is Death By Audio's love letter to sticking a pencil in your speaker.

Start with a console-style drive circuit, add in a dash of obsolete germanium transistors and finish it off with a super intense DBA-style filter - BLAMO! You've got a sound heavy enough to crush on and sharp enough to slice a tomato.

The Filter control is extremely unconventional - it'll take you from bottomless, sub-woofered out lows to super searing and brittle highs, with a universe of tone in between. The Germanium Filter will help you find the sweet spot for your instrument in any situation - at a show, in the studio, or even stranded on the side of the highway after your tour van catches fire - hey, it happens!

The Gain knob starts with a dirty boost that then spans through saturated drive, spitting distortion, and a blistering fuzz tone. Get ready for your sound to be cranked up to infinity-and-a-half and captured on tape by the most incredible recording engineer you've ever heard - only there's no engineer and no studio. Just you, your guitar, your amp and the Germanium Filter.

Controls

Filter: Controls the frequency response of the pedal, featuring huge low end, scooped mids, and sharp, piercing highs.

Gain: Sweeps from mild overdrive to blasted-out fuzz. Very interactive with your guitar's volume control.

Volume (internal): Controls the overall output level of the pedal.

Beetronics FX Seabee Analogue Multi-Chorus Effects Pedal Beetronics FX Seabee Analogue Multi-Chorus Effects Pedal Beetronics FX Seabee Analogue Multi-Chorus Effects Pedal
Cat: 934389 Rel: 03 Apr 23

A multi-chorus pedal that delivers the finest analogue bucket brigade chorustones.
Notes: The Seabee is a multi-chorus pedal that delivers the finest analogue bucket brigade chorus tones, but like any Beetronics, it goes a few steps further. By digitally controlling the chorus delay time, the Bees have created Harmochorus - a never-before-heard pitch shifting modulation that can certainly inspire new genres.

Three Chorus modes provide the classic, lush chorus and vibe sounds we all love, with each mode offering the ability to control the effect in different ways. Vary between two different speeds and/or depths, go from zero to full depth intensity, or even increase the chorus delay time for a whole new spectrum of sounds.

Three Harmochorus modes give you a unique and inspiring new approach to the effect. The easiest way to explain it's that, when clean, it sounds like angel bees are accompanying you, and when paired with some buzz, it sounds like a swarm of killer bees producing the most dangerous pitch shifting modulation are after you! You can choose between two different pitches and speeds, a combination of twelve chords and twelve different arpeggio patterns, or simply choose between thousands of random patterns.

No matter which mode you choose, the Seabee will navigate you to inspiring and creative places.

Its simple layout with only three knobs hides a multitude of possibilities with alternate controls, three ramp shapes, tap tempo, a 4-way tone filter, feedback control, and a rate that ranges from very slow to ultra-fast waves, even reaching ring modulator ranges.

There are two stereo output options, 16 onboard presets, full MIDI control, expression in, external tap and 4 input level options so you can process guitar, bass, all kinds of active pickups or synthesizers and still keep the bucket brigade in its sweetest spot?

It's hard to believe that an analogue chorus can be so complete, versatile, unique and intense - all at the same time. But get ready, because Tone Fishing is about to beecome a thing.

Analogue sound path with the finest bucket brigade chorus tones.
3 Chorus modes / 3 Harmochorus modes

Solid Gold FX BETA-V Bass Preamp Effects Pedal With Drive Solid Gold FX BETA-V Bass Preamp Effects Pedal With Drive Solid Gold FX BETA-V Bass Preamp Effects Pedal With Drive
Cat: 935851 Rel: 04 Apr 23

Bass preamp effects pedal.
Notes: The BETA-V from SolidGoldFX is a Bass Preamp pedal that kicks! This latest incarnation of SGFX's top selling Beta Series is designed to capture the warmth and grit of favorite vintage tube amps. You know, that distinctive drive and tone that seems to be lacking from much of today's modern bass amplification.

Yes, we all know the convenience of a lightweight "sub 10 lbs" bass head that pumps out 500 watts and a neo cab that doesn't require a roadie crew or chiropractor is great, but there is something extremely satisfying in the way that big, old Ampeg-style tube setups compress, clip and round out your signal. However, with the BETA-V you can finally have the best of both worlds - bone-shaking mojo-packed dirt, all wrapped up in modern and easy to use convenience.

Solid Gold FX's classic Beta bass architecture has been reworked and expanded, delivering a wider range of tones. The low-pass filter now has 2 settings for bumped or scooped-mids as well as a centre bypass setting for a more transparent experience. Plus, the Drive control has been reworked for lower gain applications or hotter basses.

Most importantly, the BETA-V sports an active 2-band post gain EQ allowing you to boost or cut your highs and lows with a flat response in the centre. Dialling in anything from punchy overdriven Lemmy tones to the fattest, deepest soul shaking dub is only a few knob twists away. Complete with top-mounted jacks, soft touch true bypass switching and 9-18 V DC operations, the BETA-V is a true thump machine, ready to rock your world.

Old Blood Noise Endeavors BL-82 Chorus Variable-Clock Effector Effects Pedal Old Blood Noise Endeavors BL-82 Chorus Variable-Clock Effector Effects Pedal Old Blood Noise Endeavors BL-82 Chorus Variable-Clock Effector Effects Pedal Old Blood Noise Endeavors BL-82 Chorus Variable-Clock Effector Effects Pedal
Cat: 934975 Rel: 06 Apr 23

A variable-clock effector effects pedal.
Notes: Seeking to unapologetically tear apart the definition of a chorus pedal, Old Blood Noise Endeavors have created the BL-82 Chorus. An ode to delay time, this is a device with a variable clock control to shift between recognizable shimmering chorus and chaotic modulated delays.

Two delay lines, modulated by opposite synchronized LFOs, are combined in parallel and the timing of the delay lines, as well as the speed and depth of the LFOs, are all determined by one tactile slider. This allows you to instantly open up the modulated floodgates on the fly and go from well-known waves, to deeply unknown oceans of sound.

BL-82 is a chorus pedal, technically. It creates a swirling shimmery sound somewhere between chorus and flanger from a mono instrument signal. Its two delay lines are stretchable, and that's where the pedal's genre blurs from chorus into modulated delay into trailing pitch bending uncertainty.

The control set for BL-82 is dead simple. A Clock slider sets the timing of the entire system. The sample rate that determines signal fidelity, the centre delay time and the speed of the delay modulation are all affected as the slider slides. The interface is rounded out with feedback, volume, and mix add to an immediate experience that breaks open the boundaries of what it means to be a chorus and allows you to further craft the undulations of this mesmerizing device.

Walrus Audio Fundamental Series Tremolo Effects Pedal Walrus Audio Fundamental Series Tremolo Effects Pedal Walrus Audio Fundamental Series Tremolo Effects Pedal
Cat: 939305 Rel: 14 Apr 23

Classic optical tremolo effects pedal.
Notes: The Fundamental Tremolo is a classic optical tremolo, giving you that iconic chewy movement. With three wave shapes to select from, you can get sounds from smooth and soothing to glitchy, wild, and crazy.

Use the Rate slider to set how fast or slow the LFO is oscillating. A lower rate gives a gentle wavering texture, while a higher rate gives a rapid pulsating effect.

The Depth slider controls the strength of the tremolo effect. Move the slider to the left for subtle tremolo or to the right for maximum chop.

The Volume slider sets the overall output volume of the pedal.

The slide switch allows you to change between three distinct oscillator waveforms:

Sine: Gradually adds and decreases volume smoothly for a easy and subtle tremolo.
Square: Much more pronounced than sine, square wave has a more on-off pattern.
Random: Uses sample and hold that picks new random values at an interval set by the rate control.

For the Fundamental Series, the team at Walrus Audio challenged themselves to design a set of pedals with the tonal integrity that's required to live on a professional's pedalboard, but with simplified controls friendly enough for even the newest effect pedal users. Each Fundamental pedal has three sliders for tweaking the sound and a three-way switch for changing pedal modes. The result is a line of pedals that will keep you covered from your first band practice all the way to a sold-out arena. Designed and assembled at Walrus Audio headquarters in Oklahoma City, USA.

Nu-X Pulse Impulse Response Pedal (impulse response pedal)
Cat: 922230 Rel: 17 Feb 23

A miniature IR (impulse response) loader pedal.
Notes: Pulse is a miniature IR (impulse response) loader pedal, that can apply a specific tonal profile to the input signal. Speaker cabinets typically change the tone of a guitar or bass guitar in a musical way, which is often collected using a microphone for sending to a mixing console for recording or sound reinforcement. Connecting the signal to a mixer before the speaker usually produces a sterile and harsh sound, which is where the Pulse pedal comes in. This pedal can mimic the speaker cabinet and microphone, meaning that the guitar signal can be taken straight from the preamp section and injected into a channel on the mixer. Another use for IR loaders is to mimic the response of an acoustic guitar, making an electric guitar sound more like an acoustic or an electro-acoustic guitar sound more natural. Pulse has modes for guitar cab, bass cab or acoustic guitar with 8 selectable types of each, adjusted by Level and Space controls. A 3.5mm headphone output means that this pedal can also be used for silent practice and an inbuilt audio to USB interface means that it can be used as the front end for a PC or Mac computer recording setup. Pulse is an invaluable guitarists and bass players multi-tool for practice, live and recording duties.

A mini chorus effect pedal with 3 switchable modes for Chorus, Flanger and Pitch Modulation.
Notes: A mini chorus effect pedal with 3 switchable modes for Chorus, Flanger and Pitch Modulation. Chorus thickens the sound by modulating a short delay effect, producing a swirling ethereal tone. The Flanger effect tightens this by shortening to a very fine delay and regenerating it for rotating and tubular jet sounds. Pitch Modulation provides a lighter chorus effect by slightly varying the pitch and mixing back with the dry signal. All 3 are selected by an illuminated push button above the controls. Holding this button down during power-up selects between mono output or stereo output, which requires a stereo jack lead. Controls include Speed, Width and Intensity to adjust each effect as required, Pressing the footswitch engages or disengages the effect. The smart tap tempo feature means that the pedal recognises pressing the footswitch twice or in a short space of time and responds to the timing as a tap tempo function to adjust the speed setting. An extremely versatile modulation effect to give space and motion to chords and picked passages alike.

Walrus Audio Melee High-Gain Distortion & Reverb Effects Pedal Walrus Audio Melee High-Gain Distortion & Reverb Effects Pedal Walrus Audio Melee High-Gain Distortion & Reverb Effects Pedal Walrus Audio Melee High-Gain Distortion & Reverb Effects Pedal
Cat: 922323 Rel: 14 Feb 23

High-gain distortion and reverb combo effects pedal.
Notes: Distortion and reverb meet in this unique pedal, sporting a joystick to tweak the sound and the option to flip the order of the two effects in the signal chain. Simple, quirky and effective.

Supplier's Notes:
Walrus Audio give you the two most quintessential effects that yield unruly amounts of power and influence to an instrumentalist: reverb and distortion. They have been harnessed and woven together for an eternity of ethereal power with The Melee: Wall of Noise. The Melee unapologetically uses a joystick to meld reverb and distortion into one massive blaze of sound. With the flip of the order switch, run the distortion into the reverb or reverb into distortion; signal chain is your call now. For the explorer, the Melee can run one of three different reverb programs Ambient, Octave, and Reverse.

In a less is more approach, Walrus Audio have intentionally decided on controls that are fun to use and will inspire a wealth of creative output. Use the joystick to control the amount of distortion by moving it up and down. Moving the joystick left and right will adjust your reverb mix. The tone and decay toggles have low, medium, and high settings. Modulation can be added to the wet signal by holding down the bypass switch and moving the decay toggle. The left position is no modulation, the middle is a slight modulation, and the right is a high modulation.

Algorithms

The Melee is equipped with three different reverb programs, which can be changed by simultaneously pressing the bypass and sustain stomp switches. Experiment with the order toggle switch to hear how differently these all react in front and after the distortion!

Ambient Reverb (Pink LED) - Huge reverb capable of massive trails and engulfing your chords into an angry wash of sound. Great for soaring melodic lines or shoegaze-driven chord progressions.
Octave Down Reverb (Yellow LED) - Similar to the Dark mode in the Slo, you'll find an eerie lower octave hovering in the reverb trail for a nice and dark atmospheric touch.
Reverse Reverb with Feedback (Blue LED) - Add reversed reverb trails back into your signal, create gentle melodies or push into reverse feedback overload. Big, slow, and sad chords love to hang out here.

Momentary

Press and hold the sustain switch to ramp up the reverb trails. Release and the trails will ramp back down to where the decay switch is currently set. The sustain switch can also latch in all three programs. Press and release the Sustain switch to capture and sustain the current reverb decay for long pad-like sounds in your wet mix. Press again to release the latch, and the reverb trail will taper off based on the position of the decay knob.

Specs

The Melee comes coated in a glossy neon pink enclosure with white, yellow, and green inks with art by
David Huttner.
The die-cast enclosure's exact size is 3.62" x 4.79" x 3.14" (including joystick height).

Power requirements are 9VDC, centre negative (200mA minimum).

What is a Nutube?
Developed by Korg; a Nutube - similar to a conventional vacuum tube/valve - has an anode grid filament structure, and operates exactly as a triode vacuum tube. It provides the same rich overtones and response that are distinctive of conventional vacuum tubes.

Electro-Harmonix Slap-Back Echo Analogue Delay Effects Pedal Electro-Harmonix Slap-Back Echo Analogue Delay Effects Pedal Electro-Harmonix Slap-Back Echo Analogue Delay Effects Pedal Electro-Harmonix Slap-Back Echo Analogue Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 925720 Rel: 28 Feb 23

Analogue delay reissue.
Notes: The late 1970s rarity Electro-Harmonix Slap-Back Echo pedal is reissued with modern updates and a Pico footprint!

The 50s era gave birth to an iconic sound in which a single, short delay was utilized to add depth and rhythmic effect on countless recordings. The newly reissued all-analogue design of the EHX Slap-Back Echo delivers this beloved classic sound and more in a Pico-sized pedalboard-friendly package. With three delay time settings and up to +20dB of boost, the Slap-Back Echo can achieve subtle doubling effects to intense bathroom reflections all with the distinct flavour of bucket-brigade (BBD) circuitry.

Housed in EHX's Pico-sized chassis, the Slap-Back Echo features Gain and Blend knobs as well as a Time switch. The Gain knob controls the input signal before the echo circuit and also adjusts the overall volume at the output with a boost of up to +20dB. The Blend knob mixes the dry signal and the echo signal from 100% dry to 100% echo. The Time switch selects between three different delay times: 45ms, 65ms, and 100ms.

Recovery Cutting Room Floor v3 Overdrive & Delay Effects Pedal Recovery Cutting Room Floor v3 Overdrive & Delay Effects Pedal Recovery Cutting Room Floor v3 Overdrive & Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 943119 Rel: 10 Jul 23

An overdrive and delay effects pedal.
Notes: Cutting Room Floor V3 Pedal

(Vintage Reel-to-Reel Tape, Echo, and Stutter)

The Cutting Room Floor has been updated and now has separate controls over the saturation of the input signal and tape delay signal. With this change, it's possible to have any amount of emulated tape saturation on the input signal and an adjustable tape delay level.

Housed in a smaller, compact footprint, the Cutting Room Floor V3 provides beautifully marred saturated tape tone and ethereal repeats. Imagine an abandoned factory with a fluttering tape machine left on infinite replay.

The Cutting Room Floor was designed to emulate the sound and functionality of vintage reel-to-reel tape overdrive and echo. This pedal reaches into the 21st century with characteristics that traverse the world of modulation and delay. Other features include a freeze button that traps a tone while still playing, and expression/CV control for time.

Designed and assembled in Seattle, Washington. Includes a limited 1-year warranty, if registered within 30 days of purchase.

- 150ma current draw

New in V3:

- Independent control of the tape saturation and tape delay levels

- High-quality knobs with textured grip

- Tape reel design lights up when the pedal is on

- Better layout of the knob placement

- Smaller 125B enclosure (4.77" x 2.6" x 1.39")

Electro-Harmonix Satisfaction Plus Analogue Fuzz Pedal Electro-Harmonix Satisfaction Plus Analogue Fuzz Pedal Electro-Harmonix Satisfaction Plus Analogue Fuzz Pedal Electro-Harmonix Satisfaction Plus Analogue Fuzz Pedal
Cat: 943919 Rel: 23 May 23

Classic fuzz effects pedal reimagined and redefined!
Notes: Expanding on Electro Harmonix's first homage to the tone that launched a thousand riffs, the EHX Satisfaction Plus delivers a wide palette of tones from classic '60s snarl to creamy lead tone to thick, earth-shaking sludge!

Where the original Satisfaction Fuzz circuit was a focused tribute, the Satisfaction Plus Fuzz treats the classic tone to a modern control set that includes a FAT/NORM mode switch, Bias control, and Tone knob. The added FAT mode features a tone that is bigger and warmer than the NORM mode for woolly leads and giant wall-of-thunder riffs. The Tone control is an active tilt-shift EQ that inversely controls both the treble and bass of the fuzz for broad tonal shifting. Set the Bias control to dial in the fuzz character from balanced and open to gated and snarly.

Mooer Audio GE1000 Amp Modelling & Multi-Effects Processor (amplifier modelling/multi-effects pedal)
Cat: 1010860 Rel: 02 Apr 24

Amplifier modelling & multi-effects processor
Notes: Proper futuristic amp modelling and effects courtesy of Mooer's next-level GE1000, featuring AI-driven auto-EQ and a five-inch touchscreen. Hook up to the GE Cloud app to edit and share sounds.

Supplier's Notes:
MOOER has consistently pleased the guitar pedal market with its GE multi-effect range, and its latest addition, the GE1000, is set to be no exception. The GE1000, built with a futuristic and sleek "Walking Star" design, builds upon past GE products, offering an even larger range of guitar processing effects, preamps, amp simulators, and features than previous entries.

The GE1000 comes preloaded with an impressive bank of guitar effects and amp simulations, but this is augmented further through MNRS GE Cloud support. MOOER's MNRS files consist of IR samples from real amplifiers, facilitating authentic feeling tones that can be downloaded, uploaded, and shared via MOOER's 'GE Cloud' app for free. The GE1000 also supports third-party IR files of up to 2048 sample points, enabling further expansion of the pedal's portfolio of amp simulators.

Further adding to the GE1000's impressive amplification and tone features, the GE1000 includes a cutting-edge AI-driven automatic equalizer, a first for MOOER. This automatically adjusts a 5-band EQ based on the user's playing and music style choice, providing further possibilities for creativity whilst still providing the flexibility of a manual-controlled EQ interface.

MOOER hasn't only focused on tone and pitch with the GE1000 exclusively, which is illustrated perfectly by the integrated Groove Station rhythmic toolkit, consisting of a style-specific drum machine and a looper. These features have been designed to work both independently and in tempo synchronization, making them adaptable for all types of jam. The looper even includes automated record and count-in functions, activating the loop recording when an input signal is detected, providing a unique hands-free looping experience.

MOOER has always excelled at providing innovative UI experiences, and the GE1000 is set to continue this trend. The pedal features a 5-inch high-quality coloured touch screen designed for intuitive multi-effect workflows while keeping some fan favourites from previous GE pedals. These include the signature MOOER multi-purpose control dials, buttons, and a quick-access expression pedal.

Additional flexibility can be found within the pedal's cutting-edge control systems, including programmable MIDI ports, bundled preset management software, and compatibility with the MOOER mobile app.

This level of flexibility is matched by the pedal's audio routing solutions, which feature Bluetooth playback, USB audio interfacing, serial and parallel TRS stereo FX LOOP compatibility, and industry-standard input and output ports.

Dreadbox Psyclop Analogue Dry & Wet Mixer/Attenuator & Booster Effects Pedal Dreadbox Psyclop Analogue Dry & Wet Mixer/Attenuator & Booster Effects Pedal Dreadbox Psyclop Analogue Dry & Wet Mixer/Attenuator & Booster Effects Pedal
Cat: 1003303 Rel: 28 Feb 24

Analogue dry & wet mixer/attenuator & booster effects pedal
Notes: The Dreadbox PSYCLOP is the ultimate modern utility device. It's an Effects Chain Loop with Dry/Wet mix control, Signal Attenuator and Boost as well as Expression to CV (Control Voltage) converter, all in one easy to use package suitable for string instruments or synthesizers and is also Eurorack compatible.

PSYCLOP is not your average Effects Loop Mixer. Capable of managing any type of signal from instruments or effects pedals, PSYCLOP seamlessly blends them with its parallel effects loop.

Its features include Input Attenuation of up to -20 dB and an Output Gain Boost of up to +20 dB in order to match any signals. For unity gain, simply set the Input Attenuation Amount to 100% with the IN control and using the OUT knob, adjust the Output Gain Level to 0%.

To avoid phase cancellation issues between the dry and wet signal paths, the PSYCLOP also features a simple but effective Effects Loop Phase switch, which is easily accessible on the pedal's side.

Additionally, PSYCLOP is capable of converting TRS Expression signals to CV and makes them usable with most Eurorack gear, making it a perfect device for synth fans and sound design enthusiasts. The pedal's EXP knob attenuates the CV output. When nothing is connected to its CV IN jack, the CV OUT jack will output 0-5V depending on this knobs' setting and a connected EXP pedal's position.

So all you have to do is plug in and embark on your next thrilling sound design adventure.

3 Channel 80s/90s Preamp

The VESTA contains a brand new set of voices from KRS along with a familiar feature set. Based on a couple of your favourite amps of the 80s and 90s, you'll feel right at home. Picture a classic Crunch tone suitable for rock and blues, along with a familiar 90s high-gain sound. If modern extended range high-gain is your thing, the CERES delivered. If you're more at home on a 6 string, the VESTA may be your preference.

It's smooth, chunky, thick, and more low-mid focused. It takes boosts just like your favourite vintage high-gain amps. It responds incredibly well to the guitar's volume control. Note: The Clean channel is identical to the CERES'.

Top mounted jacks allow for easy integration into your existing pedal board. Unique to our pedal operation, we include 3 bypass modes - True Bypass, Buffered Bypass, and Clean Bypass. In True and Buffered bypass the pedal operates as expected, no tonal coloration. The Clean Bypass mode enables the top row of Tone and Volume knobs accessing the Clean channel. These various Bypass Modes allow for integration into any style of rig - from driving a power amp directly (Clean mode), hitting a clean amp down the chain on your pedal board (True Bypass mode), or at the start of your pedal board, driving your other pedals into a clean amp (Buffered mode).

The preferred operating method is to run the VESTA into the input of the effects loop return of any amplifier head or directly into a power amp, but it will also work just as well when run into a clean channel with some EQ tweaking. For example, a typical Fender style clean circuit sounds best with Mids cranked, Bass around noon, Treble around 9-10:00, and Bright OFF. Tweak to taste...

Time based effects (delay, chorus, flange, etc) should be placed after the VESTA, before the power amp. A simple loop switcher can even be used to create effects loop(s) between the VESTA and power amp.

The VESTA includes two integrated footswitch buttons to activate the 3 channels. The left button toggles between Bypass and Rhythm/Lead.

The right button toggles between Rhythm and Lead. With the Bypass Mode switch set to Clean, bypassing the pedal actually activates the Clean channel.

Both distortion channels have the same switches and controls, and work in the same manner. However, Rhythm is inherently tighter and more aggressive than the Lead channel. Lead is more compressed and smoother and fatter overall. The Clean channel is not designed to get the "pushed" sound with the Level increased, rather it is designed to stay clean.

The gain controls in all channels feature the same range from clean to saturated signals and operate as close as possible to the full size KSR amps. They function without any unwanted top-end artifacts typically associated with solid-state circuits. The VESTA EQ options then make for a highly versatile Pre-Amp pedal giving you as much control.
